Description This is a wonderful antique door that was salvaged from a Victorian Home in Clarion. PA. It is made of 1/4 sawn oak and has it's original finish. There are 5 raised panels. The fronts and backs look the same. The steel knobs. Plates and mortice locks are intact. The hinges need replaced. It measures 32 inches wide by 80.75 inches tall. It is 2 inches thick. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The screws for the hardware need to be replaced. This auction is for an antique door from the Historic White Mountain Grand Resort in Whitefield. New Hampshire. c. 1865 I bought a group of them to use in my home when the resort was remodeling. 29 7/8" x 80" x 1 3/8" It has been kept in the basement. There is a loose piece of wood around the knob area which can easily be glued with Gorilla wood glue. However it is priced accordingly due to this circumstance. The hotel began receiving guests in 1865. Therefore this door is 149 years old! President Eisenhower often stayed there; might this be one of the doors to his suite? Antique Victorian Entry Door 34" x 80"
Beautiful antique ornate Victorian entry door with beveled glass window. This door came from an old home in Mississippi and is in amazing vintage condition. Width measurement is actually 33-3/4" It has original rim lock and white porcelain door knobs. I had a locksmith make a key and will include an antique lock keeper that I bought to match(original must have been left on the frame when the door was salvaged) I also added the back plate shown which is not original to the door(it is not attached to the door yet so if you don't like it you can easily change it) There are no hinges but I have some brand new reproduction hinges that I'll post in another auction. The back of the door has what looks like minor scuffs of paint(see last pic) that look like they would come off easily but I have not attempted to remove them. Wonderland Relics Description: This is a set of unfinished light wood café/pantry/closet doors. They measure 79 15/16 inches tall. 14 inches wide, and 1 1/8 inches thick. They have no hardware and have never been used for as far as I can tell. They were a barn find and have been cleaned up but will need a further cleaning, sanding, and painting or staining to your liking. the inside panel measures 41 3/4 tall, 11 3/4 wide, and 5/8 thick. It has two spring rods on the top and bottom that are metal that you could put a curtain in or you could take them out and put glass. Either way they are pretty unique doors that need a new home.
