34x83x1.75 Antique Oak Heartpine Wood Victorian Entry Exterior Door Window Panel
Penn Antique Restoration. 34"x83"x1.75" Antique Victorian Entry Door w/Window& 2 Panels. Distressed. Antique, exterior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The door has a solid pine core covered with 1/4" thick, quatersawn oak veneers on the exterior side, and 1/4" thick heartpine veneers on the interior side. The door is painted on both sides. Please note that heartpine is the non-living. Core of a pine tree, and not the soft, outer, living sap-wood. Since it takes 30 years for a pine tree just to develop just 1” of heart stock it is rarer, harder, more durable, more insect& rot resistant, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and is much more valuable than the cheap, pine lumber that is commonly found at most hardware stores. Also, please don't think that"veneer" ... moremeans inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/4" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. The door could be sanded and refinished several times before the door would need to be re-veneered. The door has a lhalf-length window. On the exterior side. There is a stepped ledge with carved motif below the window. Also notice the beautiful applied molding around the 2, raised panels below-nice accents! Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. We have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door(check out our eBay store) If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with a solid wood. Please email us for a quote. Condition: The door must have sat along it's lock stile edge in some water for a long period of time. As the wood(both veneer and core strips) along that side have rotted away. Luckily, due to the way that the door was constructed, we were able to simply"pull off" the 1 3/8" thick, bad strips of core wood, and the wood that remains is good and usable. Most of the lock stile's veneer is intact, and the partially broken portions could be replaced.

As a result, there is some spacing between some molding and panels, and some molding ends don't meet up and have 1/16" gaps in between them. The height of the door was unevenly cut by 1/2" and the width was unevenly cut by 1/8" at some point. Most likely to accommodate for a warped floor or settling foundation. PAIR Large Tiger Oak Victorian Church Panels Spoon Carved Eastlake Library Doors
Matching pair of ornate. Architectural, salvaged panels, just dying for a little imagination. Solid, quarter sawn oak construction. Square nails mean most likely circa 1865-1885. Starting from the bottom, you have bevelled baseboard trim. Then is a recessed bevelled panel with fluted side columns. Near the top are small carved columns flanking a spoon carved Eastlake panel. Additional Eastlake flowers at top corners with a bevelled arch in between. Some wear/dings but no breaks, missing pieces or repairs. Slight finish imperfections but excellent overall condition. They are substantial Victorian pieces measuring 38 1/2 inches tall, 12 3/4 inches wide, and weigh 13LBS each. Many other ornate furniture pieces listed. all questions encouraged and answered. HEAVILY CARVED + PAINTED VICTORIAN OAK DOOR / DESK LID
This is a very nice carved Victorian oak door or desk lid that is painted white. The hardware remains on the sides. It measures 20" wide x 15" high and is in good condition, the latch or lock mechanism is missing. We also have a similar style desk lid presently listed in a separate listing. We will gladly combine lots whenever possible to save on shipping costs.
Victorian Oak Enterance Door
First of all this door is oak and has thick glass. That means that it is heavy. I would say that it is over 50lbs. I do not have the door knobs but the hardware is morticed inside the door and is still there. You will need a keyhole cover too. The door measures: 80" Tall and is 34" wide and 1.75" thick. It is within one eighth of an inch of perfectly square. The glass is 24" by 50" The right. Left, and top styles are 5" wide and the one across the bottom is 7" The board across the middle is 8.5" wide and the panels are 9.75 square. These panels are the same on both sides of the door. This door was removed with tools and not"Ripped" out. Not split or torn or bruised by crow bars. It is in ready to use condition. Even the finish has almost all of the work done. These are great looking complete doors with a beautiful aged shellac(varnish) patina and finish. The ends mate properly. Therefore there is no warping. The original end and border trim is present except for the bottom piece on one door, and one top corner is broken on the same door(see pictures) The original hardware is also intact and in excellent condition. There are some minor scratches, but the doors could easily be refinished and would be absolutely beautiful! They are in Great condition with a beautiful old patina and are ready for display. They measure 25 3/4" wide combined c 19 1/4" high x 2 3/8" deep. They need to be refinished as you can see. The center mullion is broken and most likely needs to be replaced. The grain is raised some more so on the right side of the left hand door, there is a close up photo attached. The zinc backs are all in good condition, overall they are solid but need a new finish. SET 3 SECTION 108" TALL ANTIQUE VICTORIAN OAK ETCHED GLASS DOORS DUTCH SCENES
These absolutely gorgeous 3 section antique quartersawn oak Victorian era doors with fabulous etched glass windows with all the bells and whistles when it comes to fine exquisite antique etched glass. Like it's cartouches and swags in the corners and across the tops above the three Dutch scenes across the bottom, each individual but they work together, like the doors, drawn in by their border designs. This old glass appears to be in very good condition, intact and free of any cracks, chips or hairlines. The paneled oak doors are solid and in very nice condition on both sides, and protected across the bottom on each side by an attached wood kick board on both sides of each of the three doors. They are designed with built in hinges as shown in close up and they do have the old hardware, also as shown. The scenes one the etched glass are ... morevery detailed and simply exquisite. On one side a woman and child watch a boy in a rowboat with a windmill in the background. In the center it appears the boy in the rowboat has reached the windmill and he sits playing with a toy sailboat. On the other side pane, there is a woman with a flower basket, with a windmill and another out building in the background. There is an interesting border design with cartouche's in the outside corners across the bottom of the three scenes and across the top of the three tree sprays which show the three panes come together as one picture, as in one doors. These three doors are each 108 inches tall and are 27 1/4 inch wide and 1 3/8's inches thick. These are gorgeous formidable sturdy old Victorian doors, ready for use and as a decorative highlight in any large Victorian sized home which can accomodate their size. 1850's Old West American Oak Victorian Glass Front SALOON Doors
We are listing these authentic mid-1800's Victorian saloon doors. They were made of American oak in the mid 1850's. They are absolutely gorgeous and in all original condition. They are probably taller than you measuring 78" tall. They are heavy. Around 80 lbs each. I plan on having a mover pick these up at our Cincinnati warehouse, or a shipping company who blanket wraps. These are certainly extermely unique and I would hate to have them damaged. Speaking of damage.the only notable damage is on the back where there a piece of the back oak panel fell off. This can be repaired very easily, but was worth mentioning. The fronts are framed glass. No cracks or damage, but the glass is OLD. The solid oak frames are structurally solid, No wobbly joints. They both have holes drilled in them with sconce mounts on the back. Sconces are ... moremissing. I left these in"as found" condition because I figured whomever purchased these would want to leave them as is or have them refinished. The door has a solid Douglas Fir core with 1/8" red oak veneers and has 5 raised panels. Hardware: The door is currently not equipped with any hardware. However. The top of the lock stile is chipped. The edge of the lock stile is chipped. There is a crack on the bottom of the hinge stile. On the interior, there is a small chip on the top of the hinge stile.
