There is a raised panel at the bottom that has a diamond shaped molding. The shelves below the glass are curved and the upper shelves are straight. The panel. Glass, and upper shelf are trimmed in egg and dart molding. The backs are plain with raised panels at the bottom. Most of the hardware needs to be replaced. They have one panel if distorted glass but the other is missing. They measure 42.75 inches wide together. By 84.25 tall and are almost 2 inches thick. Overall they are in good condition. The door has a solid oak core covered with 5/16" Oak veneers on each side, and features 9 unique, beautiful glass lites. Please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Description This is a great set that was salvaged from a Philadelphia. PA Victorian home. They are made of oak and are unpainted. They are heavily varnished and very dark. Each has 5 raised panels at the bottom and a panel of glass at the top. One piece is flat and the other is beveled. The fronts and backs look pretty much the same. There is an awesome Gothic face plate but most of the hardware needs replacing. They measure 48 inches wide by 84 inches tall. They are 2 inches thick. Overall. They are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a scrubbing but should clean up nicely. There is a deadbolt hole and a mailslot.
