Vintage Sliding Fire Door & Hardware Commercial Factory Antique Barn Door
1930's fire door 2-1/2" thick 68" wide 92" high on tall side 88" tall on short side. Manufactured by Willis in Galesburg IL. Around the 1930's UL Tags on the door. There is a counter weight attached by a rope to a pulley system that allows the very heavy door to slide open and closed with very little effort. In the event of a fire the rope burns off and the counter weights fall to the floor and the door will automatically slide closed. For sale locally so auction may end at any time if sold. Offered today is a pair of old hand-forged hinges which are approx. 24" long and 2" wide at the widest point. Complete with 2 mounting pintles which are approx. 9" long. They are embellished with beveled edges and the classical"bean ends" These hinges were hand forged one at a time and show typical. Slight variations-i.e. there is a 3/16" difference in the length of the hinges and approx. 1/2" difference in the length of the pintles(which will be in the wall) They have been lightly cleaned and painted and show a little light pitting on the front and heavier pitting on the backside-not visible when installed. These blacksmith made hinges have forge-welded pintle holes and hot punched bolt holes-1 square and 2 round holes on each. Many possible uses around the house, farm, shop, vineyard, or garden, etc.

Penn Antique Restoration. 48"x 96" Antique Rift Sawn Oak Pocket Door w/6 Raised Panels. Grand. Antique, pocket door salvaged from an old home in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The door is made of solid rift sawn oak and has 6 raised panels each. Hardware: The door is equipped with 2 cast iron rollers. And a copper-plated steel lockset made by"P.F Corbin Mfg. Co. of New Britain, CT circa 1895. The lockset works and even has it's original key! All of the hardware is operational but needs a good cleaning. We can clean the rollers and lockset for an extra $50. If you do not want the any of the hardware. And just want the door; we could discount the price of the door by $100. Condition: On the exterior side of the door. The top of the lock stile, top of the hinge stile, edge of the lock stile, edge of the hinge stile, bottom of the ... morelock stile, bottom of the hinge stile and the bottom rail are all chipped. Up for auction is an all original rare antique 1911 Corbin Model 4 door closer that came off a antique doctor's door. It is in nice condition for its age. Has some light rusting. Areas of paint on door attachment pieces, all moving pieces still function and has the original Corbin plate on the front. The plate says Corbin and has three different patent dates on it: June 7 1910, Aug 16 1910 and March 28 1911. This is an incredible pice of architectural salvage…it is an old louvered barn window. From upstate New York. It has great coloring, a grey wash…with wonderful patina. It is VERY solid and sturdy. it is very large, 82" in circumference. The slats are 6" wide. It has a 4" depth…plus 2 supporting pieces of wood on the back, that make it an overall depth of 6"I have tried to show you that in the last photo. I purchased it and had it shipped to the west coast to use in an outdoor room, over a stone fireplace, but the home was never built. It could be used in many wonderful areas, and would be a great addition to a commercial building as well. 93"H x 86-1/2"W Primitive Antique Double Bifold Carriage House Garage Barn Doors
Pair of double bifold doors from the interior of a barn located in Klecknersville Pa. The overall measurements are approx. 93" tall by 86-1/2" wide by 1-5/8" thick. Each panel is made of solid pine laminated construction(7/8" thick half-lap joint construction frame on the front side. With 3/4" thick beaded tongue and groove applied to the back) Window openings measure 12" by 26" two glasses are missing, but the two that remain have very wavy glass) All the original hinges are present and I have most of the old flathead screws. There are three slide-bolt hardware pieces attached to the doors, but it looks like the hasp has gone missing from the center of the doors. As you can see in many of the photos, these doors show wear, cosmetic blemishes, and lots of great character, which is to be expected for their ... moreage. The wood is still in good workable condition. These doors would make a great backdrop for a room, a room or wall divider, etc. use them as is, restore them, or just scrub them up(note: doors have never been painted) the choice is yours! Penn Antique Restoration. 26"x 70" Antique Primitive Batten Plank Pine Barn Door. Up for sale is a wonderful. Antique barn door salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. The door is constructed of solid Pine and secured with cross rails on the interior side. We didn't personally remove the door. So I don't know exactly where it came from, but my guess would be that the door was used for a shed or some kind of storage room. Not sure if it came from a farm, or just a country home. Regardless where it came from, it is still cool! Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. If you would like to add any hardware. Antique Metal AP Clasp Barn Latch Catch Door Hardware Spring Loaded. Unit together is approx. 7" long by 4" wide plus chain. The latch is made of heavy duty cast metal with matching catch and is spring loaded. Cedar Garage, Barn, Horse Custom Built Antique Looking Hand Made Doors! HEAVY!
Up For Consideration are these Hand Built Custom Made Doors! They are right around 5 years old. I built these doors myself. I built them for some clients that had a nice Horse stable and wanted some unique doors that would stand the test of time& mother nature( Rain. Ice, Sun, Hail, etc. The 2 Big doors measure 8'0" feet Tall x 47" Wide x 4-1/4" Thick ea. I had the 2 big doors installed in an 8' x 8' foot rough opening. Could always be cut down some. There are also 2 Small doors built the same exact way as I did the big doors. The 2 smaller doors measure 44-1/2" x 32-1/2" x 4-1/4" We Remodeled the horse barn and turned it into a huge Master Suite. So no more need for these pretty cool doors( even if I have to say so myself. The way I built these doors is I took 3/4" inch Treated/marine plywood ... morethen used 2 x 8 rough cedar and essentially built a cedar door on both sides of each piece of plywood( Hence the 4-1/4" thick! and sandwiched it all together. I installed a nice"rain glass" and installed bars to give it that bullet proof impenetrable look. Although the bars are not a very heavy gauge bar. I also used a 1 x 6 Cedar Tongue& Groove on both sides of all 4 doors. I also used around 12 tubes of PL400(Liquid Nails) And glued all the cedar 2 x 8 and tongue& groove to the plywood along with screwing/nailing it all together.Not going anywhere! I also custom built and welded the door handles on the big doors( Also used a grinder to give it that old banged up cool antique look! I think you could ram these doors with a trk and bend the bumper before breaking the doors! THEY ARE HEAVY" It took 4 of us to somewhat comfortably install. Uninstall, and load them. The 2 big doors also have some very heavy duty hinges. I think I used Home Depots/lowes Semi-transparent ceder tone color stain/sealer when we originally sealed the doors. The side that was to the inside of the barn still look as good as the day we sealed them, but the sides facing outwar

I have up for auction an antique primative barn door? Spring loaded locking latch marked alligator. Sweet old cast iron door latch marked Alligator. Both pieces are in good shape for the age. Can use padlock to lock and it latches together. Spring loaded and in good working condition. One piece is marked L6 then latch top marked L8 and latch bottom marked L7. I think you can drill hole to put chain thru so it can be opened from inside or outside. Has some light rust but still solid.
