This door came from a small town in South/Central Texas and was a salvaged purchase. It is Gothic to Renaissance in style and will need to be refurbished since the wood has some scratches. Nicks and miscellaneous small repairs on them. The glass looks to be 1940’s or older with four panels replaced by a different style of glass. These four replaced pieces of glass panels have a starburst/snowflake type pattern while the remainder has a mottled goose-bump style. There are 30 glass panels in total on the two doors. It measures: 68”W x 7’T. A finish carpenter would have to make them conform to your city’s code ordinances as well as bring out the true beauty of these unique doors. I do not know for sure what the wood is made ... moreof. But most likely its mahogany. With a little elbow grease these doors could be brought back to their former glory and history. I have a set of vintage. Real wood doors with hand blown glass panels. They are from the early 1900's and originally came from a house in the Tacoma area. While the wood has normal wear on them, they remain in good condition and were recently used as office doors. There is one small crack in one panel of the glass. All the hardware is original. Doors are approximately 29 3/4' x 79 1/2' These doors are much to pretty to sit in my garage! They deserve to be the centerpiece of their new home. Local pick up only. Mid century/ cottage style glass/ wood raised panel front entrance door
Listing tonight is a fabulous victorian front entrance door fresh from estate sale and would restore to a true gem in the right hands. It has a very large glass panel to welcome the guests and some very nice panel details[ not sure if glass is original but it has been with this door for decades at least] The raised panel molding details are great on 2 sides and are deep in profile. Please excuse the pics are not doing it justice. I think it is oak because of the weight and it measures 36 inches wide. 84 inches tall and a full 1 3/4 thick. The lock is new but the correct set can easily be found on e-bay to make it pop.It has the door side of the hinges intact and it has weatherstrip intact if you want to use door as is. Here are 2 sets of Arched 9 Panel Leaded Glass Doors. Original Finish. Each door 8 foot 31/2 inches tall by 34 to 35 inches wide. over 2+ inches thick. First 3 pics. Quarter Sawn Oak on one side and Figured Mahogany on the other. Second Set Last 3 pics Mahogany on both sides. About 2/3 of the Mahogany sides are Quarter Sawn. They were hinged as to open just part of door all are froze up. Some glass wood trim missing and 3 small squares of glass broke, I will include 2/3 of another door with trim and same glass. 4 Antique Victorian Ornate Cabinet Door Doors Wavy Glass Raised Panel Eastlake
I believe thease were salvaged from a built in cabinet. They date to the late 1800's period. What is left of the hinges and the RUSTY but intact/functional latchs are Eastlake Victorian. The glass is intact and wavy. The glass doors measure 25 inches wide by 64 tall. The bottom raised panels are 25 wide by 26 tall. The white chippy paint has a heavy texture. These were a barn find and had so much dust and dirt you couldn't even tell they were glass. Let alone white. I DID NOT attempt to clean these other than a wisk broom and quick windex wipe. SORRY, I WILL NOT attempt to ship these. Pay on pickup is acceptable. Email any questions.
