You are looking at a pair of antique pine leaded glass cabinet doors. They are not painted. They have their original finish on them. They are in good condition. There are a few minor scratches in the finish as you can see in the pics, but nothing major at all. The glass is sturdy and there are no breaks. There are 31 pieces of flat glass in each door. This pair includes round knobs(not sure if brass or steel) It also includes hinges. The pair measures 39 3/8" wide by 40" one is 39 5/8" tall, someone cut it down a hair)tall by 3/4" thick, together. Penn Antique Restoration. 51"x82" Antique Chestnut Double Entry Doors w/Leaded Textured Glass. Gorgeous. Antique, double entry doors salvaged from a recently demolished church in Northeastern WV. Each door is made of solid chestnut and has 1 half-length window with 2 horizontal, recessed panels underneath. Also note that chestnut is a rare and valuable wood; it’s not commercially available due to the blight introduced between 1900& 1908. Which made the North American chestnut trees virtually extinct by 1940. Hardware: Besides 1 flushbolt. The doors are not equipped with hardware. However. We have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store. If you prefer. There were a few broken pieces of glass and the leaded skeletons of the lites were weak and falling apart. On top of that. Someone replaced the original glass with modern, green, slag glass. Since then. We've stripped the paint and sanded the doors. We took the lites to the local stained glass repair shop that we've been going to for years"Kasmark& Marshall" in Luzerne. PA, and they completely reworked them! They took out all of the glass from the lites and separated the old pieces from the new. They replaced all of the new pieces, with old pieces(many of which are no longer commercially available) and then encased them in a new, leaded skeleton. The work took weeks and cost over $900! Condition: The doors are strong. Sturdy, and in great structural shape! There are a few cosmetic blemishes(character marks) including some chips in the inner corners; there is a long, but shallow crack in the lower portion of the hinge stile on one of the doors; the molding around the glass was cut to accommodate the support bars of the lites; and there are 2 slivers of wood under one

Penn Antique Restoration. 36"x79" Antique Interior Birch Door w/Leaded Glass Lites. Charming. Antique, interior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. It has a solid Douglas Fir core covered with 1/16" Birch veneers. Please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/16" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. Hardware: No hardware included. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit any of these doors(check out our eBay store) If you would like any of the hardware holes patched with a solid block of wood. Please email us for a quote. Condition: On the exterior side of the door. The bottom of the lock stile is chipped. On the interior side, there is a gap approx. 1/8" ... morebetween the bottom rail and the lock stile. These are small blemishes, which we could repair- email us for a quote. Otherwise. The wooden portion of the door is in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. One of the glass lites is broken. But the rest are fully intact. The leaded frame that houses the glass lites is out of place and is sagging in some areas. We salvaged 3 similar doors from the same house. Each in much worse condition than this door. We fixed the wooden parts of the doors, and our friends at, Kasmark& Marshall, in Luzerne, PA took care of the glass and lead-work(see last photos) They said that they could completely restore the glass and leaded frame of this door for $425-email us after the auction if you're interested. They are all approximately 99" high. They vary from 39 1/2. 39 1/8 and 37 1/8 wide. The are all approximately 1 1/8" thick. The glass on these doors is an unusual ribbed design. The bottom veneer panel on the doors will need to be replaced. Not a complicated job just remove the bottom piece of the old frame and insert and new panel. The frames appear to be solid. With a little imagination you will have one of a kind entry doors to your home, barn or maybe ... morethey could even be used in an equestrian stable. I will sell one of them or all of them. Up for consideration appears to be an old Victorian Jeweled and beveled leaded window inset into a contemporary door. The door measures 79 1/2 inches tall by 32 inches wide by 1 5/8th inches thick. The door looks to be void of knobs hinges. etc. I believe the owner had it mounted in the door then put in the large storage Multicar garage workshop and had plans to do something some day.
