Reclaimed Historical Antique Maple Flooring 7/8"X 3.5"X RL Square Edge Dirty Top
Very historical hard to find reclaimed Maple square edge flooring which is end matched and distressed. The flooring is 7/8 of an inch thick X 3.5 inches wide on the face with long random lenghts. 50% of the material is 14-16 footers. 30% is 9-13 feet long, and the balance is 3-8 feet long. The flooring was removed from the American Crayon Company in Sandusky, Ohio which merged with Western School Supplies in 1843. The material was taken out of a 1872 structure in the 225,000 square foot complex. The material is in outstanding condition with no oil,checking, cracking, or chips on the face. The flooring is dirty top and contains no varnish. The photos of the floor show the material with a washed surface and the photos depicting the long lenghts is in an undenailed state with no washed surface. PA that were built in the 1800's. 03-4*They have weathered over the years and they have a few water stains. Worm holes and air dry cracks. They were driven into the mortise joints in a post and beam constructed house or barn. They are in a nice rustic condition and would make great hanging hooks or pegs for all sorts of things. Antique fur Barn Beam 8x8 x 24 foot long good shape over 100 years old wood
we just took a dairy barn down this winter and it had 3 of these 24 foot long 8x8 beams in it we think its fur. this auction is for 1 beam and it was raining when i took the pictures so they might have a little more luster than usual. the beams are for sale locally also so i will reserve the right to end it any time. i am firm at $200 each for the 2 nice ones except 1 of them has some rot on the 1 end about 10 feet in so i will let that 1 go for $150. if you want all 3 of them i will package deal them at $500. the hewn out area is just on 1 side of it. we are located in southern mn between albert lea and owatonna for pickup or inspection and we have the equipment to load them. call 507 291 0729 for details. we have most of the nails pulled out of them and there is a little white wash residue left on them yet. thanks.

1840 CIRA Rail Road Post and Truss System
This is a 1840 CIRA railroad post and truss system design and built for the railroad. Trusses are clear span at 44' long. Measure 11' 10" from top to bottom. All in excellent condition. Knee wall was incorporated to carry load. The post and brace assembly is approximately 12' to F.F. to bottom of truss. Minor damage to one truss, small cosmetic not structural. We can disassemble and ship or drop-ship if you are a broker. Trusses can be used for barn, garage or residential. What a conversation piece.

Up for sale is around 100ft of antique oak barn beams that were taken out of our barn. They date back from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. The longest ones are 13' in length and most of them are 6"x6" or 7"x7" They are great for making mantles and other rustic projects. 4 Massive Antique Oak Beams, Beautiful!
I have 4 amazing oak beams for sale. I have kept them for 26 years and always thought I would do something with them. But have to admit that I probably never will. Time to send them on. These beams are massive. And they are heavy. The largest one is hidden behind a table, too heavy to move until I sell it. Many years ago, I took one of the beams to a mill and had it planed, top, bottom and one side. You can see the results in the photos. Except for the finished piece. The beams are"rough sawn" you can see the saw marks in the surface. They have various imperfections which I think lends to their beauty; checks, splits, and knots. 1830's 154 Log Beams assembles into 2 story Home
154 hand hewn Logs of various lengths ranging from 25 feet to 2 feet.Most logs are probably American Chestnut. Cut, hand hewn and predrilled in 1830 that assemble into a beautiful 2 story 2 section log home.These logs are end notched to fit into a slot in a corner or center post and then pegged in like an early barn constuction. These logs have been stored in two barns and are in pretty good shape. All the logs are tagged and documented with drawings of how to reassemble. Extras include 2nd floor joists and attic joists, starway and wide wood plank walls with the old red paint still visable. With a couple of flat bed trucks these logs can be transported to your desired location and reconstructed into a beautiful authentic log home vintage 1830. This is an old vintage hand hewn barn beam that came from an old barn in West Branch. Michigan. The barn was constructed during the end the late 1890's. This was my fireplace mantel in my old house and I no longer have a need for it. It measures a little over 11 1/2 feet long. As can be seen from the photos, some areas are square and some areas a live edge. It does have an old coat of varnish applied over 30 years ago. This 14" x 6" x 16 foot long Reclaimed Douglas Fir Timber Beam was originally used as a main beam in a church that burned in the early 1960's. It was reused in an addition in our old adobe house from the mid 1960's until 2012 when we demolished the house. 1830's Barn Wood / Old Wood / Reclaimed Lumber / Reclaimed Wood
We had the job of taking down an old barn in Downingtown. PA, and managed to save a good deal of the wood. All the available salvage is now back at our yard in Norristown, PA. The current owner advised us that the barn"was part of the original Caleb Mercer Farmstead. Dating back to 1827-37, based on a Historic Resource Survey conducted by Wise Preservation Partners, as commissioned by East Bradford Township. It was designated as a Class I Historic Resource by the Township, along with being a contributing resource to the National Register of Historic Places Paradise Valley Historic District. We were advised from the property manager that the barn was added to around 1970; therefore. There is a mixture of old and newer wood in the lot. Some of the pieces are very interesting- like the rafters that have Roman numerals carved into them for ... morematching purposes. Other pieces are very large and very heavy. We see beautiful mantles. Furniture, supports, and decorative pieces being created from all this. Wood varies in value based on origin. The dimensions of the(just the beam) are as follows: 3.5" Thick 9" Wide 47.5" long This bench when sitting on the floor is 47.5" long by 11" wide at the bottom of the legs by 16" high. The chain links are all welded together and none are loose or in need of repair. The beam is absolutely beautiful. With unbelievable character from years of exposure to the elements and are sure to be a conversation piece in any home. There are four major beams in this listing. The beams came from a barn dated 1867 or so. dates back then were a little sketchy! The house on the Columbia City. Indiana property was built at that time and barns were usually built at the same time since you couldn't live in a rural area without a barn to house your animals. The beams were upper supports and mixture of handhewn and sawn wood. The knee braces are STILL PINNED IN PLACE! This is what makes these unique. Imagine using these in your restaurant or bar or mancave! These huge pieces of reclaimed timbers are from the civil war era.you simply CANNOT find these anymore! These have been power washed and the wood looks fantastic. The pieces are in Fort Wayne. Indiana. Fort Wayne is located between Chicago, Indianapolis and Detriot.
