Vintage Cast Iron HOZAN Model 340 Wheel Truing Stand
This is a really neat piece. It was left in one of my rentals. I did a little research and found it to be a Bicycle Wheel Truing Stand. It reads HOZAN 340 and has some rust as shown in photos. It is really heavy and weighs over 30 pounds. It would make a great conversation piece for a Bike shop or someones man cave. I don't know if is missing any parts please look at photo for details. Antique Glass Fly Trap Catcher Bug Insect Wasp Killer Minnow Fish Suncatcher
Hello and Welcome to the auctions! I am a collector of glass fly and wasp traps and have decided to offer a few for bids.I am getting a bit unsettled when I see glass trap reproductions offered as antiques, so bare with me to tell the difference.or just ask me! This small aqua/green fly trap measures 4 3/4" tall by 3 3/4"wide and is complete with a new twisted wire hanger(I made it) and a newer cork closure. The glass clarity is excellent with some dimples and very few use scratches. The entrance opening is perfect and the funnel has a defined settle line all the way around(made when the maker removed the blowpipe) the glass funnel was pulled backward to remove the punty rod forming a wrinkle line around the base of the funnel. The trap appears to lean if viewed while sitting on a flat surface, I think the rolled lip top is tilted ... morea bit. This trap is not"named" or embossed with any initals in the circular slug plate, fully functional with a solution of sugar water added to the inside to form a moat for the insects to swim and eventually expire in. antique glass traps are not embossed with insects. They are not ribbed or textured and rarely made of colored glass. these days the reproduced models are increasingly hard to identify, look for signs of wear to the glass base, check the hanger wire for new characteristics(perfect and rust-free) be sure the funnel trap opening was not ground smooth to hide the smooth manfacture line! use scratches should be present no matter how tiny, in short, look for some detraction that usually comes with age.or email me and I will give you my opinion for free. allthingsglass0(at yahoo dot com) Old antique traps exibit use scratches and sometimes a whitish haze from being buried(called sickness) They might have swirls in the THIN glass, potstones, un-eveness in the glass, dimples,crimps, and an overall crudeness from a less than perfect manfacturing process, there may be nicks or bits of glass missing, applied feet and collars are good indicators, mold lines in th

PUR Backpacking water purifier hand pump
Had to relist this. Buyer never contacted or paid for this. This is for a PUR backpacking water purifier that works by filter and hand pump. It is in perfect working order and would be great for someone who need to be able to get clean water, pack lite, but doesn't want to spend 300 dollars on a pocket pump. It doesn't come with a filter but you can get a replacement filter cheap enough, katadyn filters fit this type of PUR pump. Comes with the tubing and prepump filter which is all in working order. I'm getting rid of this because I'm consolidating my gear and don't need this pump anymore. It is very lite, probably less then 10 oz, 5.5 inches long by 3 inches wide. Has a great pump return, last time I used it, it was probably around 40 pumps for a liter. Easy to use, easy to store, and if you get it cheap. This is an Antique Cast Iron 3 Burner Gas/ Propane Camp/ Cook/ Canning Stove measuring 27 1/4" long by 12 1/4" wide& 6" high. It is marked underneath- 25AS-878A. I acquired this Stove from an older gentleman who told me that his mother used to use this Stove all the time when she would do her canning with several neighbor ladies- out in the barn! He told me that as far as he knows. The Stove works just fine. Up for auction is an antique MINNESOTA CAST IRON TREADLE BASE. Item is in very good condition for its age. Shows some wear on the foot pedal but the rest of it has very good paint. Item could use a good cleaning. measurements are 16" tall 16" deep and 25" wide. This would make a great coffee table. Either cover it with glass and leave the pulley on or cover it with wood with a glass inset. Any way you use it it will be a thing of beauty. Item will be taken apart for shipping. Antique Planting Tool
This tool was used for planting checked corn and was used with large rolls of wire with a knot every 40" Each time the planter hit a knot. Several kernels would dispense. Then each time you reached the end of the field, you would have to climb off the tractor and move the wire. By using this method, it was possible to cultivate both width ways and cross ways for weed control. This practice has not been used in years. This tool measures around 33" long x 9" wide and about 4" thick altogether. It weighs around 6 lbs. The wheel is rusted. But with lubrication, it looks like it would turn again.

Vintage pump marked W. L. Davey Corp. Rockford. Ill. This pump measures 20" tall, the base is 9" x 4 1/2" and the handle is about 18 1/2" long. The top spout part is threaded and is 1" the other one 1/2 way down is also threaded and is 3/4" The body part is brass as well as some of the other fittings, the rest is cast iron. The handle moves freely, there are no cracks, welds or breaks in the cast iron. There are various cast#s on a few of the parts, see pictures for details. Antique French Architectural Wrought Iron Panel
This is an Antique French Architectural Wrought Iron Panel. We do not know specifically what sort of piece this came from. But it looks like it could have be from a section of ornamental fencing or gate, a pediment or top piece along a fence or gate, or from some other sort of piece. The person we got it from told us it was sold by an antique dealer who regularly imports containers of antiques from France. As you can see the section was cut at the ends such that the left and right sides are not symmetric. The overall maximum dimensions are about 33" wide by 16 1/2" tall. The profile of the wrought iron is about 1/2" x 1/4" The piece weighs nearly 10 pounds. Condition: The piece was painted a slate blue color as seen in the closeup photos in the lower photo group below this description. There is both quite a bit of paint ... moreloss and surface rust as seen. The piece is offered as found/ as seen/ as described. There is no reserve on this great pair of old garden tools. We have an old fork with metal prongs and a wooden handle. The paint is original with nice amounts of wear. It would be a great display piece. We also have an old trowel with very nice paint. But the handle may be a repaint. Both pieces are very sturdy and certainly could be used if desired. This is a vintage corn- vegetable planter. You are bidding on a Thai. Bronze Buddha head on wood stand. I believe the bust is late 19th or early 20th century. Piece is in excellent condition with a beautiful naturally aged patina. This incredible print is from an 1860 copy of"The Flowering Plants and Ferns of Great Britain" It measures 5 1/2" x 9" and is a nice heavy weight paper that is blank on the back. The drawings are by Anne Pratt. Rendered in block-colored plates and finished by hand. The colors are wonderful and it would be incredible framed either alone or in a group. The scan doesn't really show the beauty of this print! Illustrated on this print: Borage. Madwort, Hounds Tongue One or 2 light foxing spots and slight darkening of paper as would be expected in paper that is almost 151 years old. Scan may be darker than actual print. Sorry. No shipping outside of the United States for this auction. This auction is for a vintage Hudson Bug Sprayer made in 1955. Condition is good and paint is still bright. The paint does show some scratches in spots. And there is one very small dent on the copyright date. The compression also seems to be good and can probably still be used. I am not sure if the can is original, but it will be included with the sprayer. Markings on the bottom read: 6440 HANDY(along with some magic marker that someone wrote on) On the can there are small dents all around, and surface rust on the outside. The inside still looks OK. Antique Victorian Scale by Stuart& Peterson of Philadelphia I've seen a number of these around but never one that had the original weights. Along with the scale and hopper are the following 7 weights: 2 pound 1 pound 8 ounce 4 ounce 2 ounce 1 ounce.5 ounce(half an ounce) These are all in the typical shape for thier age with suface rust. The scale appears to work fine. I put the 2 pound weight on one side and the remaining weights on the other side(2 pounds vrs. 1 pound 15 and half ounces) and it almost balances. Up for auction is a lot of 9 valve handles made of STEEL o r IRON. All 9 together weigh just over 2 lbs. The Steel and Iron handles are the Strong Heavy Duty type. There are many different shapes. Sizes, and colors. Sometimes when you stack one handle on top of another handle something interesting happens. Please see photos. All of these handles are used. But none of them are broken or horribly mangled. All of these handles have the center valve stem removed. And are ready to be mounted or fastened.
