SUPERB PR VICTORIAN ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU DOOR FINGER PLATES 1880 These are a superb MATCHING PAIR OF ART NOVEAU DOOR FINGER PLATES. In my estimation they date from around the late 19th Century. Circa 1880-1900, but please make up your own mind about this. The finger plates each measure approx 11 inches(280mm) long by 3 inches(75mm) wide. And are made from metal, with a copper plated finish. They are in very good condition. Apart from a worn patch on the copper finish on one plate(see photos. There are no splits, dings, or repairs. As you can see from the pictures all three are in"as found" condition with rust and old paint for a great shabby oh so chic look! The largest of the three is also the heaviest and it measures about 10.75" x 3" at the widest point. It has a molded St. Julian and the number"520" on the back. The two smaller back plates are identical in design. Lighter in weight relative to the St. Julian plate, and have keyhole and doorbell( openings. It may just be a draw pull. The most awesome is that massive brass/bronze one as seen close-up in the last 4 pictures. It is simply massive and beautiful! The condition of the stops are generally good with varying degrees of typical wear from age and use, as pictured. One is missing a screw, another has some nail holes, and none have been cleaned. Penn Antique Restoration. 34"x83"x1.75" Antique Victorian Entry Door w/Window& 2 Panels. Distressed. Antique, exterior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The door has a solid pine core covered with 1/4" thick, quatersawn oak veneers on the exterior side, and 1/4" thick heartpine veneers on the interior side. The door is painted on both sides. Please note that heartpine is the non-living. Core of a pine tree, and not the soft, outer, living sap-wood. Since it takes 30 years for a pine tree just to develop just 1” of heart stock it is rarer, harder, more durable, more insect& rot resistant, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and is much more valuable than the cheap, pine lumber that is commonly found at most hardware stores. Also, please don't think that"veneer" ... moremeans inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/4" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. The door could be sanded and refinished several times before the door would need to be re-veneered. The door has a lhalf-length window. On the exterior side. There is a stepped ledge with carved motif below the window. Also notice the beautiful applied molding around the 2, raised panels below-nice accents! Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. Most of the lock stile's veneer is intact, and the partially broken portions could be replaced.

ONLY ONE DOOR-the door on the left. With hardware removed(although it will be included) Solid wood door with original glass removed from my 1904 Victorian home. Again, this buy-it-now is for ONE door. Most of the woodwork in my house, including the floors, is pine, so I'm assuming these doors are pine. Beautiful scalloped carving surrounding the glass. One door has a significant chip on the top inside corner, shown in one photograph. Otherwise, minor nicks and scratches, overall in good shape. I believe if you stripped these, patched and finished, they will look beautiful. And the original wavy glass is gorgeous. The doors are not perfectly square, so I will give the range of measurements. Beautiful Antique Eastlake Victorian Brass Doorbell Pullchain Bell Hardware NICE
Up for auction is this antique doorbell. It was purchased at auction here in Ohio. It measures@ 5" in diameter. It has nice Eastlake style decoration on the brass bell. The back and inside components appear to be made of cast iron. The patent date on the inside is 1876. The bell is complete except for the pullchain. You can see on the photo which shows you the back side a channel that the chain goes in. You can easily attach a small chain or rope to make this complete. It has a nice ring to it. Antique Matching Set of 3 Large 4" x 4" Victorian Brass Plated Cast Iron Hinges
Up For Auction A Matching Set of Three 4" x 4" Hinges(auction is for the set of 3) Brass Plated Cast-Iron beautiful restored condition Cleaned. Polished, and sealed. These hinges have no looseness, or play in them when they are opened. A high quality set of hinges that have not been abused. A couple of areas the brass plating was thin so the iron shows through, these areas polished up nicely so they appear shiny silver, not noticeable as they blend in with the shiny brass as seen in the photos. The pins come out with a little effort(by hand) as they fit tightly, the other ball knob on the other end of the hinge unscrews out. The came out of a really old farmhouse off the front door, after removing several heavy coats of paint the brass was revealed! The black background on the hinges show the brass detailing even better.

For Sale is an antique 5 panel hinged door. I purchased a home built in 1880. The door was in storage in the attic. I am not sure if this was ever installed in this home. They had a grease pencil mark that said"SOLD" so I am guessing it was purchased as an antique to install. But never did. I have done no rework or restoration to it. I wiped it down to remove dust and dirt from storage. Please note the color or stain on one side is slightly darker than the other. Please review all the Photos. I do not have the keys. This is a vintage lot of 9 door knob sets and back plates. Nice overall condition as none of the knobs seems to be damaged. I believe that the door knobs are bakelite but I am not absolutely certain. All sets have 2 knobs and 2 backplates except for one set that has both knobs but only 1 back plate. All show wear consistent with age(paint. Soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. This door was built using the wood from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that has endured the test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and more insect and rot resistant than today's pine lumber. Hardware: Aside from ... morea mortise lock. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN DOOR ORNATE HARDWARE BEVELED GLASS ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE OLD
This door is from a Victorian home built around the 1890's. It's a true beauty if you can over look the dust. The front has beautiful detailing around the thick beveled glass(no cracks/breaks) and 2 panels at the bottom of a carved flowers. It still has the original hardware. Look closely at the pictures to see how ornate they are. It has a pad lock that they carved into the detailing(see picture 3) The back of the door does have a black door knob. 31.5"x89" Antique Victorian Swinging Solid Fir Wood Interior Door 5 Raised Panel
Penn Antique Restoration. 31.5"x89" Antique Victorian Swinging Door w/5 Panels. Magnificent. Antique, interior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door is made of solid Douglas Fir, and is finished on one side and painted blue on the other. There are 5 raised panels on both sides of the door. Notice the chamfered(routed) edges with lark's tongue detail bordering every panel-what great Victorian style details! The door was converted at some point into a"swinging door. which means that it was installed with a spring-loaded, pivot hinge installed in it's bottom corner, and swung both forward and backward like a saloon style door. The door no longer has it's pivot hinge or push plates. However, just because it was used as a swinging door, doesn't mean that you have to. We could cut off the rounded ... moresides and trim the door to 30"W, or we could cut and then add to the sides to widen it to 32" or wider. We could also cut the height of the door to just above of the area where the hinge was installed(which would make the door 87 3/4" Or if you need the height or need it taller, we could plug the mortised area and even add to it. Harder, more durable, more insect& rot resistant, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and is much more valuable than the cheap, pine lumber that is commonly found at most hardware stores. Set of Antique Victorian Pocket Doors-Circa 1895 Butternut Stained Finish Seven Panel. The dimensions are 72" x 95 1/2" x 2 1/2" thick. These are great looking complete doors with a beautiful aged shellac(varnish) patina and finish. The ends mate properly. Therefore there is no warping. The upper portion of the mating ends on both doors will need to be replaced(I can provide the lumber) due to fire damage(see pictures) This is a simple fix by removing the old ends and using a new applied molding. This only needs done on the mating ends on the top 1/3 of the door and all else on the doors are complete and intact and ready for installation.
