Oak Built-in Closet Doors with Carved Swags
In original condition as found. Please review photos carefully. These oak paired closet doors originally came off of a built-in in an elegant Victorian home. Exquisite carved swags adorn the top panels of each door with beveled glass mirrors built-in below them. Mirrors need resilvering. As shown in photos, and both doors have their share of dings and wear and tear commensurate with their age. My intent was to refinish the doors and resilver the mirrors and installed alongside the Federal-styled fireplace mantel, currently listed as well. If buying both, a better price could be agreed on. PAIR Large Tiger Oak Victorian Church Panels Spoon Carved Eastlake Library Doors
Matching pair of ornate. Architectural, salvaged panels, just dying for a little imagination. Solid, quarter sawn oak construction. Square nails mean most likely circa 1865-1885. Starting from the bottom, you have bevelled baseboard trim. Then is a recessed bevelled panel with fluted side columns. Near the top are small carved columns flanking a spoon carved Eastlake panel. Additional Eastlake flowers at top corners with a bevelled arch in between. Some wear/dings but no breaks, missing pieces or repairs. Slight finish imperfections but excellent overall condition. They are substantial Victorian pieces measuring 38 1/2 inches tall, 12 3/4 inches wide, and weigh 13LBS each. Many other ornate furniture pieces listed. all questions encouraged and answered. These were originally the interior panels surrounding a pair of French doors in a Stylish 1930s Town House in Toulouse. Each panel is in 2 parts and features a classic 1920s/30s Art Deco Bouquet of Flowers Featuring Roses amongst others in a basket. The detailing as can be seen is beautiful. There are as usual the odd areas of wear and a few small flaws here and there but nothing that detract from their beauty. They have a lovely Patina and have been waxed with beeswax to preserve their finish. Each panel measures approx. 16 3/4" wide x 21" tall. SUPER PAIR CARVED ANTIQUE VICTORIAN OAK ICE BOX DOORS ORNATE HINGES + HANDLE
This is a pair of oak doors from a Victorian era ice box made by the Challenge Corn Planter Co. of Grand Haven MI. It has carved panels and very nice brass hardware. They measure 25 3/4" wide combined c 19 1/4" high x 2 3/8" deep. They need to be refinished as you can see. The center mullion is broken and most likely needs to be replaced. The grain is raised some more so on the right side of the left hand door, there is a close up photo attached. The zinc backs are all in good condition, overall they are solid but need a new finish. We also have the top lid or door from this same ice box listed as well as the original brass makers tag. SET OF 3 ARTS& CRAFTS PERIOD/ ART NOUVEAU CABINET DOORS The inside(recessed) panels are carved floral designs. The oak is a rich deep color and some of the panels are quarter-sawn. Size: 15 3/8" x 16 3/8" x 11/16" All in great condition. The right panel has two partial splits on the right side. At the top and the bottom, but it is still stable and completely beautiful. Original hardware pulls are also in excellent condition. Hinges are missing some parts. These would be great as art pieces. Or incorporated in your cabinetry. Would be great as doors for a series of medicine cabinets.

Description of item for sale: This lovely pair of old doors is from France and they date to the late 1700's or possibly a little later(early 1800's) They are all hand carved in the style of the French Normandy region. These doors were originally from an armoire and would make perfect pantry or closet doors. They are in very good antique condition with various minor chips. Scratches and cracks consistent with their 200+ years of existence but no damage of any significance. The doors come with a complete set(4 pair) of solid bronze hinges, both the parts that mount to the doors and the parts from the door frame.
