You are considering a(one) vintage weathered horse barn stall door/fence gate. There are eleven in all. They vary in size. But the overriding measurement is 72' tall X 41 1/2" wide. Your winning bid allows you to choose which one you want. Some of the gates still have hardware attached. I was told they are oak, but I have not planed any of the wood. I bought them for the wood, but decided to see if there was any interest before I tore them apart. A deal could be had if someone takes several. Vintage Sliding Fire Door & Hardware Commercial Factory Antique Barn Door
1930's fire door 2-1/2" thick 68" wide 92" high on tall side 88" tall on short side. Manufactured by Willis in Galesburg IL. Around the 1930's UL Tags on the door. There is a counter weight attached by a rope to a pulley system that allows the very heavy door to slide open and closed with very little effort. In the event of a fire the rope burns off and the counter weights fall to the floor and the door will automatically slide closed. For sale locally so auction may end at any time if sold. Pr. 24" ANTIQUE IRON HINGES-Blacksmith Forged- Barn Door Hinge-Garden-Farm-Gate
Offered today is a pair of old hand-forged hinges which are approx. 24" long and 2" wide at the widest point. Complete with 2 mounting pintles which are approx. 9" long. They are embellished with beveled edges and the classical"bean ends" These hinges were hand forged one at a time and show typical. Slight variations-i.e. there is a 3/16" difference in the length of the hinges and approx. 1/2" difference in the length of the pintles(which will be in the wall) They have been lightly cleaned and painted and show a little light pitting on the front and heavier pitting on the backside-not visible when installed. These blacksmith made hinges have forge-welded pintle holes and hot punched bolt holes-1 square and 2 round holes on each. Many possible uses around the house, farm, shop, vineyard, or garden, etc.

The door is made of solid rift sawn oak and has 6 raised panels each. Hardware: The door is equipped with 2 cast iron rollers. And a copper-plated steel lockset made by"P.F Corbin Mfg. Co. of New Britain, CT circa 1895. The lockset works and even has it's original key! All of the hardware is operational but needs a good cleaning. We can clean the rollers and lockset for an extra $50. If you do not want the any of the hardware. And just want the door; we could discount the price of the door by $100. Condition: On the exterior side of the door. The top of the lock stile, top of the hinge stile, edge of the lock stile, edge of the hinge stile, bottom of the ... morelock stile, bottom of the hinge stile and the bottom rail are all chipped. The door and jamb are constructed of Douglas Fir wood, 7/8" thick, tongue and groove, bead boards secured with cross rails on the interior side. The exterior side is painted red, and the interior has some of the original gray paint, but is mostly unfinished. We didn't personally remove the door. So I don't know exactly where it came from, but my guess would be that the door was used for a shed or some kind of storage room. It's too short to be for a barn or stable. The door is constructed of solid Pine and secured with cross rails on the interior side. We didn't personally remove the door. So I don't know exactly where it came from, but my guess would be that the door was used for a shed or some kind of storage room. Not sure if it came from a farm, or just a country home. Has some large bolts on the back for the way it was originally mounted at the michigan factory where it was purchased years ago.
