34"x80" Antique Exterior Entry Pine Wooden Door 1 Large Plexi Glass Lite
Penn Antique Restoration. 34"x80" Antique Exterior Pine Door w/Full-length Window. Beautiful. Antique, exterior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door is made of solid pine and has 1, impressive, full-length window. When most people hear"pine" they think of a cheap. Weak, and soft wood. New pine hewn from 10- 20 year old trees doesn't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. The glass lite installed is actually plexiglass. Unfortunately. We don't have any old glass this size, however, we could order a new glass lite(i.e. beveled, tempered, leaded, stained, etc. and install it- Email us for a quote. Hardware: The door is not equipped with ... moreany hardware. However. We have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door(check out our eBay store) If you would like any of the hardware holes patched with a solid block of wood. Please email us for a quote. Condition: On the exterior side of the door. The top of the lock stile, some parts of the molding around the glass, edges and bottoms of both the lock and hinge stiles and the bottom rail are chipped, and there is a thin hole in the top of the hinge stile that seems to have been carved by a knife. On the interior side of the door. There is a small chip on the top of the lock stile and there is a scrape along the middle portion of the lock stile. Otherwise. This door is in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. Antique Vintage Interior 1-Panel Door 1912 Interior Door with One Panel Nice Ogee Measures: 89 10/16 x 31 3/4 x 1 3/4 Solid Birch(not a veneer) This door was in our 1912 home. It was the formal door separating the kitchen from the foyer. The design on the formal doors in the house is a simple but elegant one panel with ogee. The service doors had six horizontal panels with the same ogee. I have one listed separately. By service door. I mean where the servants worked and lived. The six-horizontal-panel doors were in the kitchen and on the third floor. All of"the family's" doors were the one-panel design. There is a nice ogee surrounding the panel. The nickle-plated knobs. The grasp has a 2 ¾” grip opening or what I would call an average size hand 3 finger pull. These are cast iron with a brass finish ... moreand are solidly made and nothing like the cheaply made imports of today that use some type of cheap pot metal. Description This is a wonderful antique door that was salvaged from a Victorian Home in Clarion. PA. One side is finished in 1/4 sawn oak and the other is pine with 1/4 sawn oak grain paint. There are 5 raised panels. The front and back have the same configuration. There is no hardware. It measures 33.75 inches wide by 81.5 inches tall. It is 1.75 inches thick. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The original mortice lock was filled in and replaced with a modern lock. Antique Oak,Hardwood Freezer Door from Bryn Mawr, PA. 73 1/2" X 31 1/2" NICE!!!
This a beautiful old oak freezer door from a college in the Bryn Mawr. PA area. The 2 hardwood blocks pictured are included for use as a table also. The last owner used it as a table the last 30 years or so. This is the real deal and it must weigh 100 lbs. plus. It takes 2 strong people to move it. The latch is really neat also. The wood is awesome and old. I do not know the exact age but it has to be close to 100 years old. These were removed in the 60's or 70's by orders from the department of health and food inspection in favor of all metal doors. Size is 73 1/2 by 31 1/2 and 4 3/4 thick and it is HEAVY! This is a used 1900's Oak Entrance House Door. The door has beveled glass. 9 lite or glass sections. The entire glass area is 24" wide x 60" long. The door is 35 1/2" wide and is 83 3/8" tall and is 1 3/4" thick. The door has a 1/8" veneer finish. There is a couple spots were the veneer is missing. about 1/2" x 1/4" along edge and corner) The bottom edge has a strip of about 1/2" x 20" that has broken loose and is barely attached. Antique Vintage Victorian Eastlake Screen Door #1 36" x 85" Ball & Stick
Up for auction is a wonderful antique late 1800's Eastlake style or Ball& Stick style Victorian screen door. The wood is in excellent condition but the screen needs to be replaced. Measures 36" wide x 85" tall x 7/8" thick. Original right off the frame condition. Light gray stain on the outside and original wood finish on the inside. Rare old home piece. Comes with two old hinges and an old spring specifically for screen doors. I am listing another screen door from the same home. It is a different configuration but the same size. 5 Beveled Glass Panels -French Door Salvage 8 1/2" by 13" craft
These are 5 Beveled glass panels. Salvaged from a pair of french doors. These were older doors of quality and the beveled edge is a full 1 1/2" wide. The glass panels measure 8 1/2" wide by 13" long. When they were still in the doors, the doors were stained, and a very ligth edge of wood stain is still on the glass, removed easily with a straight edge razor blade. I have all the glass from both doors, if a buyer needs multiple sets of 5 or all of the glass for a door restoration, let me know, I will ship in quantity. Vintage Wood Screen Door 32 3/8" w X 84 1/2" h My parents bought the house we live in now in 1964. At some point after that. They removed the wood screen doors and wood window screens and put them in the barn. This door was on the back entrance, but has been in the barn now for many years. The house was built in the late 1930's so I assume it is original to that time. The door has many layers of paint. Some of which I am sure contain lead. The top layer is white in color and is chipping in numerous places. The frame is about 32 3/8" wide and 84 1/2" tall. I believe all parts are intact and original. It has a handle on one side which has been painted over and a hook on the other for closing. The wire screen is in poor condition and would need to be replaced. I guess the small, wood, trim pieces would have to be removed ... moreto do that. Otherwise, the door seems to be in good condition structurally.
