Antique Oak Partition Counter room divider with double hinged door
Oak Partition came from a court house has a swinging door with a door that could open from either direction. Circa 1910. The measurements overall of this entire divider are 88 ½” long by 43” high on the stationary end and 38” high is the swinging door. The depth of the top ledge on both halves is 6 ½” deep. The stationary section is 43” high and 52 ½” long The swinging door portion is 26” wide and 38” high. Nebraska residents pay 7% sales tax. Antique, Walnut Spanish Double Entry Door
Bought this original antique walnut Spanish double door entry(made between 1800-1900) from Malaga Spain in 2000 from a famous local collector. All the information regarding the wood. Age and the origin was furnished by the collector. I never installed this door as it has been in the storage since 2000. The door originally was purchased to be installed in the custom Spanish home I designed and built. However the house was sold before the construction was completed and I decided not include it with the concurrence of the Buyer. The door is in a great condition but to make it absolutely perfect some touch ups would be required. Each door is made of solid oak and has 1 large glass lite. If you are wondering why the doors are so thick: they are made of"double laminate" construction. Which is essentially 2 doors put together to form 1 door. This not only makes the doors stronger, and more secure, but also, better for insulation and increases their resistance towards warping. On the other door, there is a dent in the wood on the hinge stile. A break in the astragal. The molding below the glass is loose and the other side of the door is missing the bottom piece of molding. The edge of the hinge stile is chipped. There is a strip of wood missing from the bottom of the door. There are chips of wood missing from the edge of the lock stile. The bottom of the door is chipped and cracked. Otherwise. You are considering an antique door with panels and a half-round stained glass transom. As you can see from the picture. I have installed this door into a building on my workshop. You would be bidding on its sister. I will get pictures and measurements of your door uploaded in the next day or two. I believe these doors to be hand made without power tools. One side of your door has ugly yellow paint with red trim in the panels. The other side is lightly charred. This listing starts at a price for the door in"as is" condition. We are pleased to offer this lovely. Salvaged, 2 panel wrought iron door or gate. This piece set is vintage and dates to the mid century. It features an ornate, grille inset in a scrolled design. The frame is has a matte black finish. It is in good condition with some minor rusted spots and a general, aged patina. There are pre-drilled mounting holes with one original bolt. The bottom section on one of the panels is corroded but can be cleaned. This is a beautiful vintage piece with tremendous character. Because the panels are hollow(except for the scrolled insets) they are not overly heavy and are easy to handle. We have matching piece(single door/gate) to this set in a separate listing. Each door is made of solid pine, and has 2 windows with a recessed panel underneath. On the exterior side, the upper windows have stepped ledges directly above, and the lower windows have stepped ledges directly below. Each window and panel is countered with lovely. Bead and reel molding on the exterior side. On the interior side, both panels, and only one of the taller windows has the decorative molding. The other tall window only has 3 pieces, and neither of the upper windows have any. Unfortunately, we are not able to reproduce this molding, but we could replace the partial moldings around the taller windows, and add the same molding that ... morewe make, to the upper windows-email us for a quote. 1700's Antique Old Rare Wooden Hand Carved AsianShabby Chic Double Door
These doors are amazing. I purchased them from a gentleman that traveled all over Asia. The middle east and north Africa. He had many many doors so he could not pinpoint where this exact one came from but it was somewhere in those regions. The green patina on these doors is amazing! The wonderfully carved center strip is a site to behold, amazing craftsman ship. This is a 2 sided door so it has 2 pieces with the center strip attached to one of the pieces. These would look amazing as a sliding barn door installation. A room divider or simply hanging on a wall. Only thing that the magnet sticks to is the screw on the reverse that holds the handle in. Look at the pitina/age on the round handles, I know I've opened them up a few hundred times, and I only lived there 10 years,out of their 150+ years. These came from a old farm house in Bucks county Pa. I have the doors too, but to big to sell on ebay. Lovely pair of antique. French doors. All of the doors were salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. Each door is made of either Douglas Fir or pine and features an impressive arrangement of 10 true-divided old-fashioned, hand-blown, wavy glass lites. If you think that pine is a weak. Soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was ... moremilled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. This shutter was built using the wood from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that has endured the test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and more insect and rot resistant than today's pine lumber. Pairs#3& 4 were not originally paired together. We acquired the doors from a contractor. And didn't remove the doors from the home ourselves. We don't know exactly how the doors were installed, or if there were other doors that we didn't get, which may have been the actual mates of the doors that we paired together to make Pairs#3& 4. The windows and mullions of the doors in the 2 odd pairs line up with each other, but the hinge mortises are not located in the correct positions to allow the hinges to be installed where they need to be. This is a very minor detail, which is easily corrected. Two antique 5 panel embossed glass doors. One door measures 79x12x1 3/8 the glass is 13 x 8. The other has a bevel on the top and it is 78. 77 1/2.There are no mortise marks for hinges or lock holes, possible windows at one time? Beveled Glass Double Entry Doors. 48" x 84" x 1 3/4" Great set 80 bevels per door. Not sure of the wood but the inside is not painted as shown in pictures. Each door is approx. 24" wide. Great old brass hardware on both sides included. About 80 bevel pieces in each door and only 2 have a crack as pictured. measurements of glass only to the wood is 13 x 51 1/2" there is a wood trim/frame around the glass that measures 16 1/2" x 55" These doors I understand from previous owner are about 40 years old. There are some scratches on one of the doors probably from a pet trying to get in the house. Wonderful set of doors and I only wish I had a place to put them in my house.
