For anyone that doesn't know American Chestnut is considered extinct. They were killed in the first quarter of the cenury by an oriental blight that it had no resistance to. ~ 15 LITE ANTIQUE FRENCH DOOR ~ VERY NICE DOOR ~ UNIQUE
Description This is a nice antique French door that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian mansion. It is made of pine and is currently unapinted. It is a double swinging door and the lower hardware is intact. The upper hardware is missing the pin. 4 pieces of glass are missing but the mullions are intact. It has both push plates. It needs sanded and restained or painted because the old finish is uneven. It measures 30 inches wide. By 79.5 inches tall. It's 1 and 3/8 inches thick. Overall. It is in decent condition. ~ NICE ANTIQUE CARVED VICTORIAN DOOR ~ 35.75 x 82 ~ ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE ~
Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. It is made of a hardwood that I can't identify and is painted on both sides. The front has a pediment with spoon carvings above the glass. Below the glass is a shelf trimmed in dentil molding with a corbel in the middle. There are raised panels at the bottom. The back is plain with a raised panel. The glass is not original as it is not beveled. Some hardware needs replacing. It measures 35.75 inches wide. 82 inches tall and is 2 inches thick. Beautiful Antique Eastlake Victorian Brass Doorbell Pullchain Bell Hardware NICE
Up for auction is this antique doorbell. It was purchased at auction here in Ohio. It measures@ 5" in diameter. It has nice Eastlake style decoration on the brass bell. The back and inside components appear to be made of cast iron. The patent date on the inside is 1876. The bell is complete except for the pullchain. You can see on the photo which shows you the back side a channel that the chain goes in. You can easily attach a small chain or rope to make this complete. It has a nice ring to it. Antique Oak,Hardwood Freezer Door from Bryn Mawr, PA. 73 1/2" X 31 1/2" NICE!!!
This a beautiful old oak freezer door from a college in the Bryn Mawr. PA area. The 2 hardwood blocks pictured are included for use as a table also. The last owner used it as a table the last 30 years or so. This is the real deal and it must weigh 100 lbs. plus. It takes 2 strong people to move it. The latch is really neat also. The wood is awesome and old. I do not know the exact age but it has to be close to 100 years old. These were removed in the 60's or 70's by orders from the department of health and food inspection in favor of all metal doors. Size is 73 1/2 by 31 1/2 and 4 3/4 thick and it is HEAVY! Each door has a etched basket of daisies in them and a large star at the bottom. The border around each of the doors is also etched glass. The wood appears to be oak and is in decent condition. Awesome antique cabinet door repurpose nice detail wood brown
This door is so awesome. It is very very sturdy, I think it may have come from a piece of furniture we found in attic of our home. There is some screw holes sad I know! and scratches on wood. This is very solid made and weighs 11 pounds. And measures aprox. 20 3/4 x 61 1/4 it is 1 inch thick. It has this wonderful design around the key hole. On the to where the curve is please note the two cracks these are by no means loose the wood is still very much intact. It has some of the hinges, part only part.
