Top handle is marked 14. Skillet is in good condition overall with signs of aging and wear. There are a few small pits on the inside of the skillet. But they appear to be original. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. Skillet has been cleaned and seasoned using the following method: Old residue was removed using oven cleaner soaking for several days in a plastic bag. Pan was then reseasoned using baked on Crisco. The results are a very clean and shiny surface. Skillet still has plenty of life left in it. Finish does still show discoloration in parts and does not have a completely consistent finish. Skillet does not sit completely flat on heat ring on a flat surface. There is slight warping. When you place the heat ring flat on the table. On one side of the pan there is a gap of about 1/16" to 1/8" on the other side. Measures 16 1/2" in diameter from lip to lip. Or 15 3/8" at outside of circle. Handle measures 4 3/4" long. Skillet measures 21" long from grip to end of handle Skillet measures 2 1/2" at tallest point. It has been lightly cleaned but not seasoned with oil to prevent rust(a quick clean and oiling, then good to go) NOTE: Even though there is no bottom wobble. I am still hesitant to recommend this pan(or any other vintage cast iron pan) for use on a flat glass stovetop or induction stovetop surface because these users are very particular about the absolute"flatness" of their skillets and I just want to avoid any kind of disappointment.works just fine on a gas/electric stovetop burner. antique Victrorian Eastlake slide lock vintage cast iron deadbolt door hardware
I have an antique cast iron deadbolt lock slide for your consideration. This is original Victorian Eastlake period door hardware. Spring feels strong for reuse. All the original Jappaned finish is worn away. Will clean up nicely for a new finish or nice as is. This was a typical toe kick release for the bottom of a door and floor. The slide engages with foot simply by pushing to engage knob. To disengage simply tap the button with your toe. The top side of the door might have had a matching slide with a chain pull to secure the topside of the door. Lock comes with a flush mount strike that is not original to the piece although could work depending on your application. Here are 6 matching vintage door knob backplates. These are for the old skeleton key type of mortise door knob that commonly had porcelain or glass knobs. It is hard to find this many of the same design at one time. Nice art deco. They have nice scroll work top and bottom. About 9 inches long and 2 inches wide. Marked" 7888 1/2" on the back. I do not know exactly how old they are but they are old originals. They have some aging and wear. Some paint loss and some white paint on them. Structurally sound.
