Antique Oak Partition Counter room divider with double hinged door
Oak Partition came from a court house has a swinging door with a door that could open from either direction. Circa 1910. The measurements overall of this entire divider are 88 ½” long by 43” high on the stationary end and 38” high is the swinging door. The depth of the top ledge on both halves is 6 ½” deep. The stationary section is 43” high and 52 ½” long The swinging door portion is 26” wide and 38” high. Nebraska residents pay 7% sales tax. Antique, Walnut Spanish Double Entry Door
Bought this original antique walnut Spanish double door entry(made between 1800-1900) from Malaga Spain in 2000 from a famous local collector. All the information regarding the wood. Age and the origin was furnished by the collector. I never installed this door as it has been in the storage since 2000. The door originally was purchased to be installed in the custom Spanish home I designed and built. However the house was sold before the construction was completed and I decided not include it with the concurrence of the Buyer. PA, and they completely reworked them! They took out all of the glass from the lites and separated the old pieces from the new. They replaced all of the new pieces, with old pieces(many of which are no longer commercially available) and then encased them in a new, leaded skeleton. The work took weeks and cost over $900! Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern furniture to disguise the inferior materials underneath; these veneers are very thick and help strengthen and stabilize the door. As well as protect it against warping. Solid oak doors would've warped a long time ago. The doors have 6 panels on each side: 2 square on top. 2 long, rectangular in the middle, and 2 square on bottom. On the front side, the panels have beautifully- carved, Gothic quadrafoils and ogee arches. On the back side, the panels are raised. Hardware: Besides the ... moremail door and cover. The fronts are very ornate with fluted pilasters beside the glass. There are shelves above and a shelf with beadwork below. The transom has a semi arched top and 26 jewels. Antique Seven Panel Double Church Doors
Antique seven panel doors which I believe that they are cherry from a church in Pa. These are the original doors from 1907 and have the Bommer spring hinges. The hinges are like an animal trap they are so strong. One set has been removed from the door and one set is on the other door- you will get both sets. There is a few chips of wood off on the bottom of the one door nothing major. Measure 95-1/4" tall x width 31" EACH x depth 3/4" I have other items in my store from this church. Each door is made of solid pine, and has 2 windows with a recessed panel underneath. On the exterior side, the upper windows have stepped ledges directly above, and the lower windows have stepped ledges directly below. Each window and panel is countered with lovely. Bead and reel molding on the exterior side. On the interior side, both panels, and only one of the taller windows has the decorative molding. The other tall window only has 3 pieces, and neither of the upper windows have any. Unfortunately, we are not able to reproduce this molding, but we could replace the partial moldings around the taller windows, and add the same molding that ... morewe make, to the upper windows-email us for a quote. Of the 4 windows. Only one of the taller windows has glass. The glass that remains is old and wavy. 93"H x 86-1/2"W Primitive Antique Double Bifold Carriage House Garage Barn Doors
Pair of double bifold doors from the interior of a barn located in Klecknersville Pa. The overall measurements are approx. 93" tall by 86-1/2" wide by 1-5/8" thick. Each panel is made of solid pine laminated construction(7/8" thick half-lap joint construction frame on the front side. With 3/4" thick beaded tongue and groove applied to the back) Window openings measure 12" by 26" two glasses are missing, but the two that remain have very wavy glass) All the original hinges are present and I have most of the old flathead screws. There are three slide-bolt hardware pieces attached to the doors, but it looks like the hasp has gone missing from the center of the doors. As you can see in many of the photos, these doors show wear, cosmetic blemishes, and lots of great character, which is to be expected for their ... moreage. The wood is still in good workable condition. These doors would make a great backdrop for a room, a room or wall divider, etc. use them as is, restore them, or just scrub them up(note: doors have never been painted) the choice is yours! Each door has 2 raised panels at the bottom and the lower panel in the front has fluting. Each also has 2 glass panels. A lower rectangular panel and square upper. They have antique Florentine glass. One panel is broken. All of the hardware will need to be replaced. These measure 41.75 inches wide together. By 95.5 inches tall and are 2 inches thick. Overall it is in good condition. The ornate fronts have pyramid shaped raised panels at the bottom. With glass openings above. The raised panels and glass are framed in ornate rope turned moldings. The backs are plain. The glass and most of the hardware will need to be replaced. The right door is wider than the left. This is the way there were made and installed originally. Antique Double Library Doors
Out of a mansion this set of double doors were used in the library. But can be used as exterior doors also. I believe that they are oak? Measure 80" tall x 29-1/2" plus four lines x depth of 1-1/2" EACH DOOR. As you can see they need cleaned and restored. Original arched glass.
