BUT WERE SHORTENED TO JUST OVER 7 FEET TO FIT THE SHOP WE WERE IN. THE OLD 24 1/2" X 8" CAST IRON HINGES ARE AMAZING. BUT ARE NOT FUNCTIONAL. THEY REALLY ARE CAST IRON AND ARE OLD, BUT ARE JUST THE FRONTS. THE BACK HINGE PART IS NOT THERE. THESE DOORS ARE REALLY BEAUTIFUL. Antique Door from Pittsburgh Industrial Past
Great Door From Pittsburgh Industrial Past. Door has painted PRIVATE in red and white. Door was from Geo.A.Kim&Co which is embossed on the glass on the back of the door. I have done some research on the company and they made and sold Plate Glass. Window Glass, Bent Glass, Ornamental Glass. Rough and Ribbed Skylights from Downtown Pittsburgh in the early 1900's. By the embossing and etching on the glass I would guess that it is safe to say that the work was done by their company also. Notice that below the company name and the word private there is a special etch to the glass which is most likely original to the piece. For detail see the office etch photo. Wonderful heavy wood construction. No major damage other than a 100+ years of use.

80 x 36 inch Vintage Industrial Brass Clad doors w window. Brass is tarnished but can be brought back to glory w a good polishing. Extremely heavy. The window installed is very thin and probably not the original. I bet it had the wire security panel type windows before. Theyve got standard hinges but im sure you could convert to sliding hardware if you needed to hang them. Theyve got holes where the doorknobs and locks etc go. Youll have to put a plate over the holes or find working hardware to go with that. These are used so please expect wear and tear and expect to put a little time into them.
