For sale is pair of Victorian door hinges. Stamped on back"4x4" and measures 4"x4" not including the pin. They have old white paint on them and are otherwise in good condition. Pr. 24" ANTIQUE IRON HINGES-Blacksmith Forged- Barn Door Hinge-Garden-Farm-Gate
Offered today is a pair of old hand-forged hinges which are approx. 24" long and 2" wide at the widest point. Complete with 2 mounting pintles which are approx. 9" long. They are embellished with beveled edges and the classical"bean ends" These hinges were hand forged one at a time and show typical. Slight variations-i.e. there is a 3/16" difference in the length of the hinges and approx. 1/2" difference in the length of the pintles(which will be in the wall) They have been lightly cleaned and painted and show a little light pitting on the front and heavier pitting on the backside-not visible when installed. These blacksmith made hinges have forge-welded pintle holes and hot punched bolt holes-1 square and 2 round holes on each. Many possible uses around the house, farm, shop, vineyard, or garden, etc.

Victorian style but marked only 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" I believe these are cast iron but could be thick steel as each weighs nearly 1/2 a pound. They have a great embossed detailed design and the metal is clean and rust free. I did take a pin out and there was quite a bit of rust on it. I believe they were cleaned at some point as the people having the estate liked old metal things and the man liked to work on these objects. They have specks of white residue here and there at the top of some of the pins. But I see no signs of these ever ... morehaving been used other than that. These old brass door handles. Push bars, and hinges came off of an old building being torn down many years ago. The door handles are a little over 10 1/2 inches in length. One handle has the threaded bolts in, the other does not. The push bars are 34 1/2 long, by 3/8 inches thick, by 1 1/4 inches wide. There are no fastener screws for the push bars. The brass hinges are marked Stanley with an SW in a circle logo underneath. They also have a U. Patent number stamped on them. They measure 5 x 5 inches. It is a medium to dark colored wood, but it shows up lighter in the pictures with flash(had to use flash to show wood grain. Measures 32 1/2" tall x 19 3/4" wide x 1 1/16" thick.
