The glass is secured in place by glazier's putty, and the putty is still strong and in good shape. Hardware: The door comes fully equipped with hardware: 1 brass knob. 1 brass lever, 2 brass escutcheons(plates) 1 steel mortise lock with brass faceplate, 1 brass pull/handle, and 3 brass-plated, butt hinges. 80 x 36 inch Vintage Industrial Brass Clad doors w window. Brass is tarnished but can be brought back to glory w a good polishing. Extremely heavy. The window installed is very thin and probably not the original. I bet it had the wire security panel type windows before. Theyve got standard hinges but im sure you could convert to sliding hardware if you needed to hang them. Theyve got holes where the doorknobs and locks etc go. Youll have to put a plate over the holes or find working hardware to go with that. These are used so please expect wear and tear and expect to put a little time into them.
