Up For Auction A Matching Set of Three 4" x 4" Hinges(auction is for the set of 3) Brass Plated Cast-Iron beautiful restored condition Cleaned. Polished, and sealed. These hinges have no looseness, or play in them when they are opened. A high quality set of hinges that have not been abused. A couple of areas the brass plating was thin so the iron shows through, these areas polished up nicely so they appear shiny silver, not noticeable as they blend in with the shiny brass as seen in the photos. The pins come out with a little effort(by hand) as they fit tightly, the other ball knob on the other end of the hinge unscrews out. The came out of a really old farmhouse off the front door, after removing several heavy coats of paint the brass was revealed! The black background on the hinges show the brass detailing even better.

I have an antique cast iron deadbolt lock slide for your consideration. This is original Victorian Eastlake period door hardware. Spring feels strong for reuse. All the original Jappaned finish is worn away. Will clean up nicely for a new finish or nice as is. This was a typical toe kick release for the bottom of a door and floor. The slide engages with foot simply by pushing to engage knob. To disengage simply tap the button with your toe. The top side of the door might have had a matching slide with a chain pull to secure the topside of the door. Lock comes with a flush mount strike that is not original to the piece although could work depending on your application.
