These are awesome pine doors 38.5" X 95" X 1.75" I had over 90 of these and this is the last batch. I have stripped several for past purchasers and they are great. The door is made of solid, old pine and is painted on both sides. If you think that pine is a weak. Soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. This door was built using the wood from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that has endured the test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and more insect and rot resistant than today's pine lumber. The door has an arched top with 4 raised panels on both sides. Quirks& ... moreConsiderations: The door originally had a 5th panel at the bottom. But I believe that it was removed to let a pet cross between rooms. We could make and add a new panel- email us for a quote. The height of the door is slightly uneven. Very shabby. Cottage-chic bench with original peeling white paint- naturally crackled from age. This high back bench/arm chair was made from an antique panel-door, believed to be old, solid pine. It has the original, embossed door guard with keyhole, which is very rusty/rusted from time(someone used Phillips screws) Some of the paint is heavily peeling, some completely worn away, weathered, or peeled off in areas. Also has the original door hinge indentations, and holes where there once was a hook. All of these flaws are exactly what gives it so much character! It was built a long time ago. Up for auction is a vintage interior wooden five panel door. It has the original glass knobs still attached. It is a genuine piece of history waiting to be added to your décor. The hinges are not a complete set. One is missing one half. The glass knobs are very stricking. They are a complete set of knobs with one on each side of the door. The paint is in vintage shape for its age. You will see some scuffs and scrapes on the one side and the other has the bottom four panels down a different color. It appears something was in front of the door when the second coat of old paint was added many years ago. Along one edge of the door there is a crack that runs up the side. The door is made of solid pine and features 5 raised panels on each side. When most people hear"pine" they think of a cheap. Weak, and soft wood. New pine hewn from 10- 20 year old trees doesn't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant. Or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has.
