For anyone that doesn't know American Chestnut is considered extinct. They were killed in the first quarter of the cenury by an oriental blight that it had no resistance to. When they say extinct for a plant. There are still a few Chestnut trees but in such small quantities. This glass door cabinet is:15 1/2" wide X 13 1/2" deep X 65" tall. I'm also listing 3 other taller Chestnut displays from this store in the 7' And 8' tall. I can ship 2. 3 or 4 of these pieces almost as cheap as 1 piece. Check out my! Early Original 1900's Pair of Stained Glass Oak Cabinet Doors
Up for auction is an original matching set of stained& beveled glass cabinet doors taken from a Milwaukee bungalow that was built in 1918. There are no cracks or damage of any kind. One piece of the glass has a minor imperfection. It is not a crack or a scratch but it is a line that is a little over an inch. I tried to photograph it but it would not show up in the pictures. I am just trying to be upfront. It is surrounded in beautiful oak that has a great patina. One door measures 20& 3/4 inches tall. 14& 11/16 inches wide. You are looking at a pair of antique pine leaded glass cabinet doors. They are not painted. They have their original finish on them. They are in good condition. There are a few minor scratches in the finish as you can see in the pics, but nothing major at all. The glass is sturdy and there are no breaks. There are 31 pieces of flat glass in each door. This pair includes round knobs(not sure if brass or steel) It also includes hinges. The pair measures 39 3/8" wide by 40" one is 39 5/8" tall, someone cut it down a hair)tall by 3/4" thick, together. You are looking at a very hard to find set of 4 leaded glass cabinet doors and side panels. This would make a complete cabinet or if you don't want to use the panels as sides. Cut them down and use them as windows or doors. They are not painted, they have their original finish on them. They are all oak. Set of single raised panel antique cabinet doors. Circa 1820. Deminisions for each door: 47" h) x 24" w) Doors are made with mortise& tenon joinery and pegged together. Outside has a slightly raised panel that forms a diamond point at the center of the door. Inside is unpainted and flat. I also have the lock& key that came with the doors. These were cabinet doors in a local Clerk of the Courts office on the Northern Neck of Virginia. They were removed some time ago during a renovation. This is one of three sets. Two doors have a center panel that is antique pressed(I believe walnut) wood with crotched book matched walnut veneer panels above and below. The third door has three panels of crotch book matched walnut veneer panels. The doors are constructed of mahogany(spanish cedar) with walnut trim. The backing is a smooth plywood cabinet grade. These doors are a custom design incorporating salvaged antique materials. Reclaimed and new wood from Whitmer Design Studio. These doors have never been used and are new although they incorporated antiques materials in the design. They have not been finished- except for the antique panel that was kept in its found state. The two antique paneled doors are prepped for SOSS 216E invisible hinges- see pictures. This auction does include 2 pairs ... moreof the SOSS hinges to mount(2) doors. PAIR OF SHABBY 'N CHIC PAINT DECORATED ART NOUVEAU STYLE CABINET DOORS / PANELS
This is a nice pair carved and paint decorated cabinet doors with a very nice Art Nouveau style panel. They each measure 6 1/4" wide x 18 1/2" high. The edges are cut at an angle and are a little rough. It may be best to cut the edges down or just remove the panel from the frame to re-purpose them. It is hard to tell from the pictures but the center of the carving is curved which adds a nice detail to the panel itself. We also have some similar style panels presently listed in a separate listing. We will gladly combine lots whenever possible to save on shipping costs.

The pine doors open and close, with small metal hinges. The whole unit weighs about 40 lbs. or so. Measures: 69 1/2" high. 39" wide. This came from a estate sale here in Pa. We bought these for out garage and yet another project my husband never finished haha. We are downsizing and do not need them. I found these in the garage they are hollow wood(launa I think) and these need cleaned or better yet repainted. They have a rounded over edge on the front and comes with 2 door knobs and 4 hinges still attached. These were off a wall mount type cupboard we think. These are a thin wood and are painted. These have lots of use marks. Paint loss, scratches and use marks. I am not sure what the wood looks like under this is the way we bought it several years ago. 4 Antique Victorian Ornate Cabinet Door Doors Wavy Glass Raised Panel Eastlake
I believe thease were salvaged from a built in cabinet. They date to the late 1800's period. What is left of the hinges and the RUSTY but intact/functional latchs are Eastlake Victorian. The glass is intact and wavy. The glass doors measure 25 inches wide by 64 tall. The bottom raised panels are 25 wide by 26 tall. The white chippy paint has a heavy texture. These were a barn find and had so much dust and dirt you couldn't even tell they were glass. Let alone white. I DID NOT attempt to clean these other than a wisk broom and quick windex wipe. Here is a pair of nice old pine cabinet doors that were removed from a home that was built in the 1920's. Based on the rest of the trim in the home. These are most likely made of yellow pine. They have raised panels with what looks to be the original shellac/varnish on them, the finish is crackled as that finish tends to do as it ages. They are made to close in sequence and overlap in the center. The original solid brass hardware is included: knobs hinges and catch(there is only one catch) There are some nicks. Dings and dents but no major damage. Some of the hardware will be removed for shipping purposes, local pickup is also welcomed.
