Pair of double bifold doors from the interior of a barn located in Klecknersville Pa. The overall measurements are approx. 93" tall by 86-1/2" wide by 1-5/8" thick. Each panel is made of solid pine laminated construction(7/8" thick half-lap joint construction frame on the front side. With 3/4" thick beaded tongue and groove applied to the back) Window openings measure 12" by 26" two glasses are missing, but the two that remain have very wavy glass) All the original hinges are present and I have most of the old flathead screws. There are three slide-bolt hardware pieces attached to the doors, but it looks like the hasp has gone missing from the center of the doors. THIS DOOR IS PAINTED ON BOTH SIDES I HAVE INCLUDED A PICTURE(FIRST PICTURE) OF ONE OF MY OTHER DOORS TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT IT MIGHT LOOK LIKE UNDER THE PAINT. This door was salvaged from a home built in 1913. I have 6 doors from the same home for sale. This door is 80x32. I believe this is douglas fir but I am not an expert. Willing to drive up 60 miles to deliver for a fee. If you want delivery notify me before paying and I will add cost of fuel to the auction invoice. These doors are in good condition. VINTAGE SOLID WOOD FRENCH DOORS C1920s ORIGINAL BRASS HARDWARE 60" x 81-1/2"
VINTAGE SOLID HARDWOOD FRENCH DOORS SIZE: 60" X 81-1/2" ORIGINAL BRASS HARDWARE Offered are a pair of vintage solid hardwood French doors circa 1920s being sold as is. I believe these may be Walnut. But I am not a wood expert. This set measures approximately 60" x 81-1/2" The door thickness is approximately 1-3/4" Each door weighs approximately 52 pounds. All of the original brass hardware is included but the hinges are missing. I have taken photos of the both the fronts and backs of these beautiful doors as well as some pictures at different angles. Pictures of the hardware is also included. As you can see from the pictures. EACH French door has four rows of 3 glass window panes across, or 12 glass window panes- none of the panes are cracked or broken. Each glass pane measures approximately 5" wide by 13-3/4" ... morelong. The measurement from the bottom of the door to the trim of the lowest row of glass is approximately 16-1/4" All of the original brass hardware is included, and photos include pictures of the door knobs, striker plate, and the mortise locking mechanisms. The varnish on the doors does show signs of crazing, which is to be expected for the age of these doors. In my opinion, this is a very beautiful set of French doors. Antique wooden Arched Carriage House Doors - 1 set
Selling one set of antique arched carriage house doors from what I believe to be the 1920s– 1930s. Each set of doors measure 94" across(each door 47" and 95" in height. Approximately 8' x 8' Each set of doors has original glass. Iron work detailing. There are no hinges. I believe the doors to be a southern pine. Acquired in Cincinnati. Ohio region. I have researched similar doors and have found a wide range of retail pricing. I would like to get around $3000 per set. Although I am open to negotiation. Antique Vintage Pair Cabinet Doors Pine 1920's with Hardware (#1)
Here is a pair of nice old pine cabinet doors that were removed from a home that was built in the 1920's. Based on the rest of the trim in the home. These are most likely made of yellow pine. They have raised panels with what looks to be the original shellac/varnish on them, the finish is crackled as that finish tends to do as it ages. They are made to close in sequence and overlap in the center. The original solid brass hardware is included: knobs hinges and catch(there is only one catch) There are some nicks. Dings and dents but no major damage. Some of the hardware will be removed for shipping purposes, local pickup is also welcomed.
