Soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. This door was built using the wood from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that has endured the test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and more insect and rot resistant than today's pine lumber. It is white on one side and white and pink on the other side. The door is solid and glass is good. Has several layers of paint which is cracking and chipping. It does not have door handles but does have the door handle plate on one side and the original hinges. Measurements are approx. 79-1/4" tall x 31-2/4" wide x 1-3/8" thick. The glass panel is 34" tall x 22-1/2" wide. I have provided several pictures to view and consider them to be as part of the description.
