This is a beautiful hand-painted and luster-decorated(pink and copper) soft paste porcelain plate with a central green blossom motif and a garland of blossoms around the edge. Within the garland going around the plate. There are dots of yellow/brown that punctuate the garland just after each of the green blossoms. I’m sure there must be a name for this pattern, but we do not have it. This wonderful old plate measures 7 inches in diameter. It has no chips or cracks on this plate. The one tiny imperfection that could have been a chip was glazed over by the manufacturer at the time it was made c. 1820. You can feel it but it is filled with luster glaze. Here is an exceptionally pretty early soft paste porcelain bread plate with pink lustre trim and a pink and green vignette of a woman and two children entitled"Charity. Measuring 8 3/4" square. It dates to about 1840 and is in clean bright perfect condition. Having said that, I do need to point out that it has a single imperfection on the footrim, a spot of what appears to be underfill or a flake occuring in the making.entirely glazed over and not post-production damage. Lovely vibrant cobalt blue toddy plate. This dates to the early to mid 19th century. It is in absolute mint condition. The plate is recessed which is why I believe it to be a toddy plate. It measures 10 1/2" in diameter. The scalloped embossed brim has a wide blue band or stripe decorated with stylized flower buds. The well depicts a large pink petal flower. A daisy, with leaves stretching and filling the plate's side between the well and brim. It is not marked but these plates were produced in England from the late 1700's into the first part of the 19th century. I believe this one to be from the first quarter of the 1800's. There are no cracks, breaks or repairs, but there is a flake/chip along the lip. It weighs 3 lb. 7 oz. so will be a 6 lb. package with box, bubble wrap and peanuts. There is a small shallow nick to one of the edges that I have photographed. There is also wear to the gilt on the inner rim from stacking. But otherwise no other issues and is otherwise in very good condition. The plate measures approximately 8 5/8 inches across. The back of the plate is marked with a gold anchor and an incised"X" is seen off to one side. Rare Louis XIV Hand Painted/Signed Soft Paste Vitreou 8 1/2" Plate
Here for your consideration is a hand painted portrait of Louis XIV of France painted by artist Gueslin. It has crazing. A couple nibbles on the top, mostly nibbles, discoloration, and chips on the back of the plate, some wear of blue paint and gilt around the edges but really in remarkable condition for it's age. The period portrait itself is in excellent condition and done very well as you can see from the photo's. Vitreou soft paste porcelain was used as the blank(with raised ribbing and flourishes around the edge) as it is marked on the back. It is an 8 1/2" plate. Thank you for looking!

These 19th century Staffordshire plates are utterly charming. They are the same pattern. But probably not from the same set originally, because the larger plate shows more wear. I do not know the manufacturer or the pattern name, although the large plate has an impressed daisy on the back of it. The colors are wonderfully vivid. The large plate measures 8-7/8" in diameter, the small measures 6" The $235 sale sticker on the back of the large plate was on it about 20 years ago! Please feel free to ask me any questions. This auction is for an absolutely gorgeous miniature early Staffordshire transfer cup plate. This plate measures 5 inches across. This has incredible design all around the outside and then an amazing scene inside. The piece is just lovely. Has indented letters on the back. I have tried to make out the letters. Antique Soft Paste Leeds Feather Edge Transfer Decorated Peafowl 5.5" Plate
Up for auction is an antique bird decorated bird decorated blue feather edge. With brown transferware design rose decorated soft paste porcelain plate recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia, PA area. It is offered in as found used condition. There are two large cracks and a few rim chips. It is quite an uncommon pattern, fettering two peafowl in a trasferware design in the center of this plate. The edges are in a blue feathery edge design, much in the manner of a leeds plate. It is approximately 5 1/2" in diameter. A nice plate for display and certainly worthy of restoration. 19thC Hand Painted Cherub Roses Old Paris or English Soft Paste Plate
A very beautiful antique English Plate. The plate has a lovely hand painted decoration of a Cherub with White Doves. Pink Roses and gilt gold highlights. It is not marked but is by one of the better makers of the era like Minton or Worcester. I believe this is made of Soft Paste China as it has the wonderful"translucent" look of soft paste. It measures 8 3/4" in diameter. It is in very good overall condition with no chips or cracks. The only thing to note is one tiny nick on the edge and some minor wear to the gold mainly on the edge, see photo. The plate would be lovely in an antique decor, it is beautiful and decorative. Gorgeous old oriental style. Antique soft paste dish or plate. I believe it to be soft paste, as there is no crazing whatsoever. It has hand painted accents. It may be early porcelain. It looks as though two servants are fanning a Royal, Empress. There is a dog at her feet. I am not sure if this is English or Chinese Export. There are no markings on this plate.
