T his 11" hand painted game plate. Was decorated by the Lazeyras, Rosenfeld and Lehmandecorating factory. The plate's decorator signed the plate as De Solis. The plate has no damage and no scratches. Looks like new. This Lazeyras. Rosenfeld and Lehman backstamps was used around 1920 s and is found overglaze on Limoges white ware blanks.

ONE large antique1850-80 Italian majolica charger.Renaissance revival,portrait.
This auction is for ONE antique 19th Century Italian majolica charger. Circa 1850-1880. It is 16" in diameter. Most likely it was painted in Faenza. Central Italy, in the Renaissance Revival tradition. The border of the charger has Renaissance Grotesque motifs, and the blue portrait of the young man is in the Florentine style. It is in very good condition, no chips, no cracks or hairlines, only the outer rim has spots where the glaze is missing. In the third picture I compared the size of the charger with a regular dinner plate!

Limoges Flambeau Portrait Plaque Signed JAK Completely Hand Painted Lion Charger
Limoges Flambeau hand painted lion plaque made in France circa 1910. The 12" charger is factory decorated. It has a scroll border painted in gold. Completely hand painted with a portrait of a male lion figure that fills the platter. A fierce expression with a snarling mouth and glare in the eyes. Shades of tan. Cream and brown in the coat with an overlay of individual hairs. Nice shading and texture. Lovely detailing. Signed JAK. Hole in the rim for hanging. The back of the plate is stamped with the green underglaze mark 1. Used by Flambeau Limoges from the 1890s until 1914. Also the factory decorating mark 5 in green, used before 1914. The plaque has a spiderweb crack on the underside that does not come through to the front. See pics. Excellent paint and a rare subject.
