***Rare***Antique Royal Bonn Transferware Handled Charger / Plate 11" x 12"
Rare antique Royal Bonn large handled charger/plate i n very good condition. Detailed transferware pattern of flowers.Flora and scrolls.The pattern is in a bluish green color. The only flaw is a fleabite chip on the edge of the plate, that cannot be seen from the front of the plate. There is very light natural aging on the front of the plate. On the backside of the plate in the center it is browned some. There are some blemish marks from the manufacture of the plate. The Hallmark reads as such: Royal Bonn. Rosenguirlarde, Germany. Inside crown of hallmark is the initials F M 1755. The plate is also imprinted with town name in Germany and DO. Wonderful addition to a collection.

Antique porcelain plate made in Germany. The Flamand blue plate has white accents and a burnt orange edge. It is very unique and much more beautiful than my photos show. It is marked on the back. Size: 9 1/2"d- approx. dimensions Quantity: 1- Plate Condition: VERY GOOD- no chips or cracks. There is a medium amount of crazing(35% a majority of it shows on the backside. Nice Hand-Painted Antique Royal Bonn Plate of Napoleon Bonaparte measures 7 1/2” in diameter. There is a hairline crack at the 10:00 position which does not interfere with the image. There is also a discoloration at the 7:00 position with crazing. There are areas of missing paint in the tan area around Bonaparte and one small one on his coat. Crazing is noted on the back of the plate. Tiny chip on rim at 9:00 position. Large white appearing areas around edge of plate are reflections. Last 4 photos show hairline crack from front& back and tiny edge chip from two directions. Please look carefully at the photos and/or ask questions before you bid. Antique Royal Bonn Franz Mehlem Blue& White Handled Plate. Rare. This lot features a beautiful collectible antique plate manufactured by Royal Bonn. Royal Bonn is the nineteenth-and twentieth-century trade name used by Franz Anton Mehlem. Who had a pottery in Bonn, Germany, from 1836 to 1931. Porcelain and earthenware were made. Royal Bonn used a monogram-and-tower mark that appeared on exported pottery only with Germany added. The factory was purchased by Villeroy& Boch in 1921 and closed in 1931. Many marks were used, most including the name Bonn, the initials FM, and a crown. Royal Bonn. This beautiful plate on an identification website refereed to FME8. The pattern are of roses. Foliage and scrolls in blue on white base. This plate measures approximately 10" by 9 1/4" It has no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is crazing ... morein the clear glaze. ANTIQUE ROYAL BONN FISH PLATE This auction is for a beautiful antique fish plate. The plate has a hand painted underwater scene of a fish and sea plants and is nicely decorated with heavy gold gilt on an embossed edge. Maker: Royal Bonn- F.A. Mehlem. Has the impressed circle mark of Mehlem, the green tower stamp, and C2331 215. see photo) Age: The marks date the plate to between 1885 and 1920. Size: The plate is just under 8 1/2 inches"square" Condition: Very good condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs, there are no use marks, there is light age crazing, some corner rubs, and some typical signs of the early manufacturing process of pottery, such as specks of extra clay, kiln residue, and ash marks, as you can see in my photos this is mostly on the reverse side of the plate, also there is wear to the gold gilt.
