E Challinor Pelew Flow Blue Black Mulberry Soup Plate Staffordshire
You are bidding on a E Challinor Pelew flow black Mulberry soup plate c.1850. This measures approximately 9.5" across and 2" deep. The print is not razor sharp. But it is still pretty clear. There are two spots with imperfections introduced during the manufacturing process. One is on the outside rim of the plate and one is near the center of the plate. There are no cracks or chips. There is some crazing, but it is very tight so there is very little discoloration. Let me know if you have any questions. For glasses. Dishware and anything else that is fragile, I strongly recommend the buyer pay for shipping insurance. I do my absolute best to package these items so they are well protected for the entire journey. There is crazing and staining which adds beauty to the piece. This is a wonderful. Near-mint example of antique English Mulberry transferware ironstone. It is in the"Tavoy" pattern. Which was registered by T Walker C. 1850. T Walker potted from 1845-1851. This plate is in a nice dinner size- 9 3/4" It is in remarkable condition. With no chips, no cracks, no rough edges, no knife marks. It is nice and glossy. There are the usual stilt marks on the front and back(from stacking in the kiln) It has very. Very faint fine allover glaze crazing. There are some places on the face where the glaze skipped- they show up as light splotches. But actually have some glaze on them so that they feel glossy. Wonderful deep mulberry color. This has lots of flow to the transfer. Thanks for looking. I am also listing a second plate and a sugar(missing its lid. But fab too)

Antique black and white mulberry/flow/staffordshire/transferware cup
This is an antique Black and White flow. Staffordshire/transterware cup. I am not sure of the pattern name, there are two blue hash marks, or the no. 11 on the bottom of the cup. It is a pretty scene with a couple in the foreground, and a castle off in the background. There is normal crazing to the cup, and one flea bite on the rim, in the 5th picture, and a small nick on the bottom, in the second picture. Neither shows up when the cup in merely sitting, and do not detract from its collectible value. The cup stands 3 1/8" tall, and the rim is 3 3/4" wide and 4 1/2" with the handle. It would be a great addition to a black and white collection.

Which depicts two large eagles perched in a tree with a lake and mountains in the background and a floral and Victorian Scroll design border. The plate measures 9 3/4 inches across is in Very Good condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks. There are not even any scratches or utensil marks, which is highly rare. It has fine, even crazing throughout, which adds to the character and authenticity of the piece. There is a small area of darker crazing on the back(see photo 10) and three small stilt dots on the face border design(last photo) which were part of the firing process.
