The center of the plate boasts fern leaves and pods. For your consideration. An Antique French Majolica plate made by Five-Lille, c. 1880-1900. This piece is for serving both Artichokes or Asparagus& shows images of both with parts of their plants. Beautifully colored in a glazing of greens& blues on a white ground, with a hint of lavender on the spear heads of the asparagus& the thistle-like head of the artichoke plant. Antique French Choisy-le-Roi Majolica plate depicting the Forth Bridge. Edinburgh, Scotland This superb majolica plate was made by Hautin& Boulanger in Choisy-le-Roi. A faience factory which was renowned for its majolica produced from 1860 to 1910. It depicts the Forth Bridge in Edinburgh. A wonder of modern engineering when it opened in 1890. The plate comes from a rare series showing iconic British views; I am also listing'Dovedale' a beauty spot in the Peak District of Derbyshire, from the same series. The design is in harvest gold and is signed AD in the corner. The reverse of the plate is cream and is backstamped with the company's majolica trademark. Measurements: Approx 9 inches in diameter. This is a beautiful antique French majolica plate in a peacock pattern. It was produced in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s by the H. Boulenger Faience Co. in Choisy-Le-Roi. France. Background color is mustard yellow or tobacco gold with the peacock and its feathers in brown. The color of the back side of the plate is actually ivory or off-white. The photos make it look more of a bright white than it is. Size: approx. 8.75” diameter Condition: Excellent. There is normal age crazing. Up for auction a very nice Majolica French Napkin 7 5/8 inch plate. The plate shows a bit of wear with some the glaze worn off the plate. And there is a small chip on the back side of the plate and hope the photo shows. The plate is not dated and I am not a collector but seen similar plates dating from 1850- 1899 so in good condition for it's age I think. The plate has a brown rim green around the basket weave napkin with pink morning glories. The reason for selling is I found cleaning out my parents house. Antique French or German Sarreguemines Birds and Berries Plate - Majolica
I purchased this in France. It is a beautiful turquoise plate with two birds on branches. The diameter of plate is approximately 8" There are no chips or cracks. I have included photos of the Sarreguemines label. I will include plate stand if you desire. Thanks for looking! I have seen plates very similar to this. Maybe exact, on One Kings Lane for over $200.

Antique French Majolica Choisy-le-Roi Pansy Flowers Plate c1860-1910, fm902
Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this lovely antique French Majolica plate. Made by the Choisy-le-Roi faience factory. The Choisy-le-Roi factory in France produced majolica from 1860 until 1910. Hippolyte Boulenger was the director at the pottery. This factory made some of the most delicate majolica produced in France. This plate is a great example of the beauty of work created in this factory. It features colorful pansy flowers with green leaves and three green dragonflies at the tip of each flower. It is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. It does have overall glaze crazing which is normal for antique majolica. We do have 2 available. Each has a different back mark so I photoed each one. In the Art Nouveau style with a border of olive green& light blue Artichoke leaves, five asparagus spears lie across the center of the plates, a shell shaped sauce well in pale pink, on a cream colored ground. Heavy bodied pottery. Marked Depose KG Luneville for Keller Guerin Luneville. France. There is a painted nip to a high point, minor crazing. 9″ across.
