This Steubenville c1910 calendar plate is in really nice condition with one small chip on the outer rim above June. Showing a Monk eating his meal it has lovely color and shows little sign of wear. BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE HANDPAINTED PRUSSIAN CABINET PLATE
This is a gorgeous plate which measures 8½” in diameter and is hand painted with pink/violet flowers and gold leaves. With a gold rim around the outside. Although there is rubbing to the gold edge and some of the gold leaves, as shown in the photo, it is overall a lovely piece and due to the absence of utensil marks, is appears to have been a cabinet piece. I am unable to date this plate but obviously. Since Prussia no longer existed after WWI, it’s at least 100 years old. It has an early era Red Griffin mark on the back. And comes from Creil and Montereau(B& Cie) This finely painted work depicts the lovers in a wooded glen, with a bird of prey taking the life of a love bird at their feet, and features a border with stylized foliate ogival lappets. It is believed to be a work by or after the German painter, Charles Fuchs(1803-1874) On verso is the black printed banner mark of Creil& Montereau, and on front it is signed"Ch Fuchs" in lower left. Gesso and giltwood frame is original and features exceptional carved details. Up for auction is an Extraordinary 19th century Antique Peter the Great Painted Plate with Bronze or Brass Frame. The plate appears to be early to mid 19th century with the bronze/brass frame possibly added later. Frame and mount appear to be circa 1880's-1890's although it could be earlier and original to the plate. The plate is finely painted on the front enamel with the image of Czar Peter the Great in vivid detail and extraordinary colors. It is done in the style of portraits from the 17th-18th century and looks amazing. Please zoom in on the photos to see the quality as it was obviously painted by a master painter with perfectly captured light falling on the Czar making for one glorified portrait of the revered historical figure. The portrait itself is unsigned while the plate is stamped with the number 160 on the verso as shown ... morein the photo. No other identification marks could be found. This is a rare luncheon plate that I believe was made by Spode c.1806-1810 for a Royal service. It bears. To quote Geoffrey Godden in the Encyclopedia of British Pottery and Porcelain Marks: A very rare printed mark on a porcelain plate with a blue border and a rose painted center has been reported. It comprises the Prince of Wales feather crest with word"Spode" below and the motto"Ich Dien" this may be a special mark for the Royal service. C. 1806-10. Messrs. Spode were appointed potters to the Prince of Wales in 1806. I got this plate many years ago and saved it for its rare mark. It has a hand gilded edge and is indeed painted in blue with roses and trailing foliage. This plate has been restored at some point in its life. Minimum paint loss(to be expected with age, as shown in photos. Approximately 9.5 inch diameter. The Victoria Porcelain Factory was located in Altrouhlau. Bohemia, Austria. It was sold to Franz Schmidt and became the largest porcelain factory of its time. The pieces manufactured are of high quality and are considered by collectors today to have great artistic merit. In addition to porcelain pieces, the Victoria Company also produced a ceramic called porcelite. Porcelite is also highly coveted by collectors of antique Bohemian porcelain.

Decidedly vintage, if not antique, the plate has a scalloped mold, not flat across but shaped upward, with a bit of gold loss on the edge, some minor rough spots from handling on the plate edge- you feel them more than see them. Back is marked with the old Rosenthal Versaille mark- the artist or previous owner's name seems to be there as well. Antique, 20 piece mixed lot Limoges France HAVILAND china. It is fine china decorated with a delicate blue floral pattern with green leaves. Lovely embossed detail. The three pieces include: 6- 7 1/2" Salad plates(4 good. 2 with small chip on rim) 6- 9 1/2" Dinner plates(2 good. 4 with chips on rim) 3- cups(2 good. 1 with chip) 5- 5 1/2" Saucers(4 good. 1 with hairline crack) Although not all pieces are perfect. The flaws mentioned are not that bad and all pieces are still quite useable. The back stamp dates these pieces from 1894-1931. White Round Platter with Grapevine Embossed Border
This is a nicely made decorative 12& 1/4" round platter with a grapevine embossed border design. It's not marked and it came from my parents estate so I don't have any information on its age. It's a nice functional piece and it's in very good condition. No cracks, chips, or stains. It also quite substantial as it weighs just over 2 pounds. It would make a nice gift for someone who likes to entertain!

DESCRIPTION: Look at the other English ceramics I have listed to save on shipping of multiple items. This is an early ceramic plate from England in a stick and spatter hand painted design. It measures 10 1/2" in diameter. The scalloped embossed brim has a wide blue band or stripe decorated with stylized flower buds. The well depicts a large pink petal flower. A daisy, with leaves stretching and filling the plate's side between the well and brim. It is not marked but these plates were produced in England from the late 1700's into the first part of the 19th century. I believe this one to be from the first quarter of the 1800's. There are no cracks, breaks or repairs, but there is a flake/chip along the lip. It weighs 3 lb. 7 oz. so will be a 6 lb. package with box, bubble wrap and peanuts.
