18" Covered Royal Bonn Portrait Vase w/ Bronze Collar c 1875 Landscape& Dancers Colorful decoration of a young couple dancing and this surrounds the vase. This vase has a bronze collar with a floral pattern in it. The colors are bright. The only damage is a surface chip on the edge of the lid about 1/4" square as shown in photo#11. No cracks or hairlines. The marks on the bottom include an underglaze incised 2 and 259 and the circular mark Franz Ant. Mehlem Bonn Reine as shown in photo#10. The base also shows the Crowned FAM Bonn mark used between 1875- 1890. Also in gold is 2283 and 32(which matches the gold number in the lid) and 1416. Check out my!

Green background on the neck with Greek key design along with gold raised jewelling. Below the neck of the vase is a hand painted seated maiden with cupid behind her holding a bow signed Wagner at the base of her foot. An antique porcelain vase showing a lovely center portrait of the Woman in Daisy Crown which is considered a scarce portrait on Prussia porcelain items. The top part of the vase has gold handles at the shoulders and a wonderful scalloped rim with gold detailing at the top. A pearl luster finish. A heavy gold border, and gold enameling that frames the portrait area.On the back there is wreath of fine gold leaves. The woman must have been someone very important, because there is another vase of the same period with her portrait.It is gorgeous piece for someone who values the hand painted vase.Measures( 11.5 in high and 6.5) at widest part with the porcelain to be in fabulous condition. This is a very rare and elegant vase with a very beautiful hand painted portrait of a beautiful lady. Maybe an Austrian Princess. The vase is uniquely designed with wings on both side, similar to that of a dragon or bat. It measures 10 inches high and 5.5 inches wide. It is in good condition with some repairable problem such as 2 tiny chips on the tip of both of the back wings and another tiny chip at the tip of the right front wing. Likewise, it shows at the back that the left broken handle has been repaired. It is marked at the bottom in red print: a Crown logo and under it: RH, Royal, Rex Tima. Or it could be Wex or Wat Tima. Wicharz" The body of the vase is hand painted with landscape scene and floating florals. The vase is marked on the base with design numbers and has a half impressed Franz Anton Mehlem oval mark. This grandiose and beautiful lidded portrait urn is from workshop of Franz Anton Mehlem of Bonn, Germany, circa 1870. This is a wonderful and richly coloured Pompadour rose pink vase embellished with elaborate ornamentation in the classical manner of the mid 1800's. Using magnificent bands of exquisite polychrome hand-painted decoration. Possessing delicate floral encrusted and gilt handles. The body of this urn features a portrait MASTERPIECE of Marie Antoinette, Queen of France, exquisitely painted in fine detail and set in a gilded cartouche which has been signed by the artist(P. Juhmer) At the back, a flourish of gilded flowers and musical instruments in heavy impasto gilt are sensationally ... moredisplayed. Four miniature gilt florets frame each side of the body, both front and back. The vase is a clean-line cylindrical shape and made in heavy porcelain. It has decorative raised buttons and a neat repeating painted pattern on the top and bottom. The outside of the vase is painted a flat cobalt blue; the inside a bright glossy white glaze. The vase stands 9 1/2" from the base to the back& the front is shaped lower and stands just under 8 1/2" It is 5 3/4" across. The vase is a lovely deep burgundy. It is nicely shaped, and the outer areas are trimmed with bright gold flourishes as well as to define the center portrait. The base is marked in bright gold with a Fleur de Lis symbol& within a ribbon banner, Fleur de lys.Mark used by LaFrancaise China Co. East Liverpool& later Sebring) Ohio, in business from 1899 to 1969. The colors are lovely, the portrait is most likely a transfer, but the gold trim looks to have been added by hand. Most items are vintage or antique and were found at estate sales. Local auctions or flea markets. Up for auction is a vintage or antique large porcelain portrait vase or urn by Victoria of Austria. The bottom is signed in blue Victoria Austria Carlsbad with the symbol of a winged creature and the painted number 24. There's also two impressed numbers or letters on the bottom. A large center medallion or cartouche with the hand embellished portrait of a lovely scantly clad female decorates the front. The overall background color is dark green with gold gilded flowers. A few very small surface scratches were seen in the green glaze. The condition is good. There are no cracks or ... morechips. Just some light wear marks(small scratches) on the bottom from normal use or age and some light loss to the gilding on the twisted rope cable style handles. Antique Old Paris porcelain cobalt portrait vase blue bird 1850
This is an old Paris porcelain cobalt vase with a hand painted portrait. The vase is cylinder in shape and flares out near the bottom. The vase is 10 5/8 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. It has a hand painted scene on it of a lovely lady in colorful dress with a bird on her shoulder. The vase has a cobalt matte glaze. The only mark on the bottom is a 27 that is written in ink. The vase is from France and dates circa 1850. There are no chips. Cracks or repairs. There is some wear to the gilding and discoloration of the blue glaze.

At the back castle scene side there are 2 cracks which are shown in picture#6 and# 7 the first crack is off to the side and the 2nd crack is in the hand painted castle scene itself being much harder to notice, this piece is completely fabulous with exceptional hand painted artistry taken to both the front full bodied lady portrait and the back castle estate scene, This piece has been looked at today for me before I decided to list it so I could be certain of it's age and origin which the age is most certainly 1850's or even earlier with this being a Rare French piece and ... moredouble vase at that, I was told this is a Museum Quality piece& even with the apologies of the 2 cracks which there is No glue it was never broken it is still a very fine piece with the age of 163 years or more it is quite a collectors piece properly marked on the bottom base impressed deeply into the porcelain with the St. Denis mark and the number 653. We are offering a 19th Century Royal Vienna Double Handled handpainted Vase entitled"Bianca" by the famous artist Wagner, This vase is done in the Luster process. It glows. A very time consuming process and the results are a glowing.Shimmering beautiful vase. The painting is done masterfully. The gilt is fantastic. There is some gilt loss on the handles but does not detract from the beauty of the vase and can be re-gilted at the buyers request. The Vase stands 9 inches in height and is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. It is marked with the beehive mark under the glaze and is also marked Depose with a registery number 179. Their are no other condition issues. No chips cracks or restorations.
