Faint impression on the back bottom of girl that looks like"GERMANY" Which I've tried to capture in the photos but is so light as to be indiscernible. Bisque porcelain with a green matte glaze with gold accents. Superb condition for age with only some minor chipping: Boy: flower is missing its leaves- Girl: Flower is missing one petal. All else is intact and perfect! No repairs, hairlines, etc. Check out the girls' hat! Both are standing on ladders(orchard sitters) Heavy from being filled. No other discernible marks. Exquisite detail in workmanship is what this beautiful vase presents. Every aspect of this victorian bisque piece is magnificant right down to the gold slippers the young lady is wearing. The vase measures about 6 1/2" tall and is about 6 1/4" in length. I believe that this is Imperial. It is marked on the back bottom righthand side- there is an oval with a mark inside. Which I cannot make out clearly and a number incized next to the oval that reads 10049 or it could be 13049. This piece is basically in mint condition with some slight wear inthe gold accent along the base and the very top column. A high quality piece for your quality collection. 1889 FRENCH OLD PARIS PORCELAIN LARGE SPILL VASE HAND PAINTED
1896 ANTIQUE OLD PARIS LARGE PORCELAIN SPILL VASE THIS BEAUTIFUL FRENCH VASE HAS A LUSTRE TO FOOT OF VASE AND SIDE FLOWERS White porcelain with a hand painted floral cartouche surrounded by ornate scrollwork within a blue panel with gilt outlines. There used to be gold gilt on the leaves that has worn off mostly. It has an incised date on base which reads 9/2/96 which was manufactured in the year 1896 These vases were made from two molds joined together at the sides. Made in the late 1800's to early 1900's. They sat on the fire mantelpiece and held twisted pieces of tightly twisted paper which were used as tapers. Vintage German Art Nouveau Bisque Porcelain Women & Flower Spill Vase
Vintage German art nouveau bisque porcelain women& flower spill vase which measures approximately 4 1/2" tall measuring from the base to the top of the women's head. It is approximately 4" wide. Vase is marked on the back with numbers as shown in one of our pictures. Condition- Flower has a little bit of a rough feel around the top rim, back of flower white part is a bit dirty looking as shown in our picture, not sure what could be used to clean it, inside of flower could use a cleaning also. Old Vieux Paris Porcelain Vase Spill Vase with Flowers and Bird c. 1850
Here's a French Victorian period vas or spill vase. C. 1850. Blue with white, and gold gilding. One side has colorful artwork painting of flowers, the other side has a painting of a bird. About 9 3/4" tall. Has overall wear to the gilding as you expect with old paris, and a scroll is broken off and missing from one of the handles, and there might be a small center scroll or other decoration missing from the bottom center on both the front and the back, but I can't be sure. A wonderful vase, perfect for putting water and flowers in, great for your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, mantle, anywhere!

Fabulous Porcelain Spill Vase with Portrait and Beaded Gold Gilting
Photos don't do justice to this exquisite hand painted porcelain vase. A Greek key design encircles the upper edge and is overlaid by a woman's portrait on the front. A spill vase was usually kept on the mantel piece and was filled with rolled paper tapers or very thin wood sticks. Called spill. Spill was used to transfer fire from the fireplace to candles, lamps, or to light a cigar or pipe. This is an early and unsigned piece with gold gilt that is highly reflective against the matt background of the cream colored porcelain. No chips or cracks, minor wear to blue edge, small rub mark on back(see photo) Mid 19th century. Measures: 5-3/4" tall, 3-1/4" dia at base, 4-1/4" dia at top.

Made in Germany sometime between 1850 and 1899. The body is hand painted with a Dresden Pattern. There is a large polychrome floral spray on one side and a small sprig on the other. The pieces stand 6-1/2" high with a width of 5" the diameter of the base is 3-1/2" The base is marked with the Blue Crossed Swords. Both vases are in very good pre-owned condition, there is some usage wearing on the edges of each base, light handling wear to the gilt rim edging in various spots and a very small chip on the bottom edge just beneath the gilt rim. Royal Wettina Small Yellow Porcelain Spill Vase 1850 - 1899
This is a Royal Wettina small yellow spill vase or pitcher. The vase is 7 inches tall by 5 inches wide at the widest point. The bottom bears embedded numbers'07 92 49 however there is no maker mark. There are two firing flaws on this piece. One on the reverse which is like a porcelain pimple mark and also a divot in the front under the spout. The front floral lilac design is nicely hand painted with delicate moriage work. The reverse of the pitcher has an usual red leaf pattern. I think this piece was a factory discard. It has a bisque type glaze and doesn't have the traditional ornate feet of many Wettina pieces but I have seen Wettina with the same kind of bottom as this piece. This is a nice smaller accent piece and a little bit of porcelain history! This is a very beautiful and delciate little pattern in the vintage Belleek cream color porcelain with a lovely Lily of the Valley pattern. The vase measures approximately 6-1/2[ high by 2-5/8" wide in diameter. The base is approximately 2-3/4" in diameter. The bottom is marked 5th period stamp with 2nd green mark which dates it between 1955-1965. This is a wonderful cup and saucer in very good condition with NO cracks. Aesthetic Movement Parian Ware Spill Vase Robinson& Leadbeater Bisque Porcelain 19th c 1885 This is an antique 19th century spill holder/vase made by Robinson and Leadbeater of Stoke-on-Trent. The piece is made of“Parian” Which was a type of bisque porcelain that Robinson and Leadbeater specialized in and was one of the largest producers of. The piece is made in the naturalistic style of the Aesthetic Movement, popular in Europe primarily during the last half of the 19th century. The bowl is shaped and embossed with shell-like features and decorated with a seaweed or coral motif at the bottom of the bowl. It sits on a triform leg support that looks like three bamboo shafts tied together. Each leg has an opening that can accommodate longer pieces of“spill” spill was usually thin pieces of wood or rolled paper that would be used to transfer ... morefire from the fireplace to light candles, lamps or even cigars. A spill vase like this would have been kept on the fireplace mantle for easy access. The style of this vase was obviously influenced by Japanese design, which was drawn upon by Aesthetic Movement designers due to its emphasis on nature as art. This spill vase measures 6 3/4” in height and 5” across the bottom of its legs. It weighs 14.4 oz. It is in very good condition with the exception of a firing fissure visible at one of the feet(see close-up photo) that is demonstrating a bit of iron content discoloration. Natural, and I believe original to the making of the piece. One of the feet is impressed with“R&L” within an oval, the mark used by Robinson and Leadbeater. A similar example can be seen online in a Google book copy of an 1885 catalog that is part of the collection of the Library of the Winterthur Museum in Delaware. This is an interesting piece of Parian Ware.
