True Art Nouveau Drop Edge Candle Vase TURN-TEPLITZ Amphora Works Reissner Vase
You are buying here.a real Art Nouveau beauty! This piece is a drop edge candle vase from Amphora Works Reissner. 1903-1918 as per the hallmark book I have. the hallmark is faint but is impressed with a crown above the center logo and is for sure as I stated. A photo is hard to do. but in person the reflection reveals it correctly.you have to trust me on this one. The assigned number is 548 with a 42 below that. This piece in the true Art Nouveau flavor which is really sharp. It stands at 6 1/4" high by 5 1/2" wide by 3 14/ deep. The flowers are enamel with a bee and clouds with the handle cascading into two leaves on either side. In my research I have found via Worthpoint. Being sold on ebay. This item on ebay in 2011 sold as a buy it now for 1825.00. I am offering a nicer vase for less and pretty much the same condition range. ... moreThe one on Worthpoint is of the jeweled nature. Mine and the one on Worthpoint are exactly the same vase mold, mine having the grass and daisy center panel. and the bright gold handle verses dull handle and the leaves with a patina type color verses shiny. If you need more photos simply ask and they are yours. At the very top there is a small loop that has broken off. A very easy repair. Aside from the damaged loop, there is a small chip which as shown in the photos which lead to a surface flake peel on the inside back of one of the leaves again both are an easy repair, and rightfully should be done to preserve this fine example. No other chips or cracks. If your not happy with this item you can return it no problem just inform me asap, as well if you think this is nice then you should check out the other vase I have up. This is a super art nouveau. Bisque finish, ceramic(porcelain? vase” A little girl in her peasant dress has found a large dragonfly that has settled on a giant nautilus shell– pure art nouveau! This is 7” at the highest point of the shell, and 6 ¼” at its widest, a very manageable size for a shelf or a table top. The only marking on the bottom is a hand incised number– 767(5” From the style, and quality, it reminds me of the work of pre-Czech Amphora, and I believe from Bohemia. Possibly the Turn– Teplitz region, or perhaps Bavaria. Wherever it was made. It’s a wonderful piece with a charming subject, and as I say– pure art nouveau! It is in great shape. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a small area that has a light stain along the base edge(red arrow) There is a small indent made by a tool( in production along the bottom ... moreedge(red arrow) At first I thought it was a tiny flake, but under magnification, you can see it is a push in of the ceramic. HUGE pair art nouveau vases Secessionist Turn teplitz Amphora 18" high
These European art nouveau vases are real statement pieces. So decorative and striking. I have not been able to track down the mark as to be able to attribute them to a particular factory. I would imagine that they are either German or Austrian. They are a wonderful shape and the decoration fits the form perfectly. They each measure a staggering 18" tall and are marked to the base as seen in the images. They are in very good condition.

Gorgeous 3 pc. Garniture Set. Austrian Turn Teplitz Art Nouveau Vases, Hand Painted. This is a beautiful example of Austrian Turn Teplitz Amphora Porcelain. It is very rare to find a garniture/ mantle set in such wonderful condition. The vases were made by Ernst Wahliss- Alexandra Porcelain Works. C.1905-1915. The vases are hand painted with heavy raised enamel Iris florals, with gold gilt highlights and heavy raised gold gilt borders. The florals travel around the edges of each side. The two outside taller vases stand 13 3/4" tall. The middle vase is 11 1/2" tall. There are NO chips, dings or nicks the vases. The third vase to right has a very tight surface hairline at the pedestal stem that goes half around the outside of pedestal stem base right where the stem meets the body of the vase. It does not affect the integrity of the vase, as it does not go through. it is the outside surface) Very minor wear to gilding at rims. A magnificent and rare antique. Fairly large, Ernst Wahliss Turn-Teplitz fine Bohemian(Austria) porcelain Vase, expertly hand-painted all around in bright raised enamels with a garland of stylized flowers(much better than my photos show) about 10 ins. 25.4 cm) H x 5 ins. 12.7 cm) max. diameter; backstamp: Ernst Wahliss mark of 1899-1918. Vase probably dates to about 1910. This very elegant Vase. A product of the Vienna Secession Movement(Wiener Secession) is beautifully decorated with a hand-painted garland having three clusters of stylized roses joined by draped leaves and small blue flowers- all are meticulously outlined in black; together with a simple band of leaves all around near the base, and a black wavy line around the neck. I have for you this evening a stunning piece of porcelain made at the kilns of Riessner. Stellmacher and Kessel at the Amphora works in Bohemia Austria in the late nineteenth century. This piece is made of excellent grade porcelain and has been cast into a unique pitcher mold form with raised and embossed elements. This piece has been hand painted with a floral design outlined in gold gilt raised slip and beaded. The decoration and design elements are perfect for the period. Austrian Amphoria- Josef Strnact Turn-Teplitz Royal Teplitz Aurora Vase. The vase measures 16 inches high by 9 inches wide and dates or early 1900s. It is signed on the bottom Royal Teplitz- Aurora- J S and the number 4246. The mandate of the Imperial Technical School for Ceramics and Associated Applied Arts in Turn Teplitz was" turn live examples from nature(exact and stylized) into clay. That is exactly what Josef Strnact did when he created this magnificent vase. The vase is of fine porcelain in a basket weave motif favored by Strnact. Draped across the front of the basket weave is a branch of ripe pears in bas relief. Almost three dimensional. They are glazed in perfect colors. You can imagine Strnact's inspiration. perhaps an early autumn picnic. a branch of ripe pears falling out of the picnic basket. the golden late-afternoon ... moresun trimming the branches with its light. He couldn't wait to get back to his studio and replicate in clay what he saw in nature. The vase is impessed with the mark Joseph Strnach used between 1900 and 1933. Which was his initials and a"flower" on a shield. Strnach's mark, combined with a stamped mark, which, in this case, is"Royal Teplitz Aurora, dates the vase c. 1918. A product of the Vienna Secession Movement(Wiener Secession) is beautifully decorated with a hand-painted garland having three clusters of stylized roses joined by draped leaves and small blue flowers- all are meticulously outlined in black; together with a simple band of leaves all around near the base, and a black wavy line around the neck. Beautiful Art Nouveau Compote. Rare. Marked on the underside RStk. Crown, encircled'Amphora' encircled'Austria' crown, impressed with maker/mold numbers 65(9& 18. Also has the letter'K' possibly the makers signature. Dimensions are: Stands about 18cm tall, 13.5cm dia to the foot, flower to flower, approx. 28cm. This piece does have a very tight hairline located within the compote(approx 12 o'clock) difficult to photograph as it really is a very, very tight hairline, hardly discernible. The roses have chips to the petals, as photographed as does one leaf. To the underside of the piece, there are markings to the glaze. There is a small mark to the rim of the compote- not exactly damage per se but occurred at manufacturing. This piece was gifted as a wedding present just after the turn of the century. Antique Turn Teplitz Amphora RStK Bohemia Floral Pitcher, c.1892-1905 Austria
RARE and in very good condition. Made in Austria. The gold is slightly worn on the handle. Around the neck near the handle and around the pedestal band. There is one and possibly another(hard to tell) hairline crack in the opening, at the top of the vase barely detectable. It stands 10 3/4" high and it is right about 4 1/2" wide. At it's widest. The thinnest part of the neck is about 1 1/2" wide.
