True Art Nouveau Drop Edge Candle Vase TURN-TEPLITZ Amphora Works Reissner Vase
You are buying here.a real Art Nouveau beauty! This piece is a drop edge candle vase from Amphora Works Reissner. 1903-1918 as per the hallmark book I have. the hallmark is faint but is impressed with a crown above the center logo and is for sure as I stated. A photo is hard to do. but in person the reflection reveals it correctly.you have to trust me on this one. The assigned number is 548 with a 42 below that. This piece in the true Art Nouveau flavor which is really sharp. It stands at 6 1/4" high by 5 1/2" wide by 3 14/ deep. The flowers are enamel with a bee and clouds with the handle cascading into two leaves on either side. In my research I have found via Worthpoint. Being sold on ebay. This item on ebay in 2011 sold as a buy it now for 1825.00. I am offering a nicer vase for less and pretty much the same condition range. ... moreThe one on Worthpoint is of the jeweled nature. Mine and the one on Worthpoint are exactly the same vase mold, mine having the grass and daisy center panel. and the bright gold handle verses dull handle and the leaves with a patina type color verses shiny. If you need more photos simply ask and they are yours. At the very top there is a small loop that has broken off. A very easy repair. Aside from the damaged loop, there is a small chip which as shown in the photos which lead to a surface flake peel on the inside back of one of the leaves again both are an easy repair, and rightfully should be done to preserve this fine example. No other chips or cracks. If your not happy with this item you can return it no problem just inform me asap, as well if you think this is nice then you should check out the other vase I have up. A museum quality piece. opium death bottle with human spinal column and 4 skulls absolutely stunning. never seen before. ART NOUVEAU VASE - GIRL W/ DRAGONFLY, SHELL - AMPHORA ? BOHEMIA ? TURN TEPLITZ ?
This is a super art nouveau. Bisque finish, ceramic(porcelain? vase” A little girl in her peasant dress has found a large dragonfly that has settled on a giant nautilus shell– pure art nouveau! This is 7” at the highest point of the shell, and 6 ¼” at its widest, a very manageable size for a shelf or a table top. The only marking on the bottom is a hand incised number– 767(5” From the style, and quality, it reminds me of the work of pre-Czech Amphora, and I believe from Bohemia. Possibly the Turn– Teplitz region, or perhaps Bavaria. Wherever it was made. It’s a wonderful piece with a charming subject, and as I say– pure art nouveau! It is in great shape. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a small area that has a light stain along the base edge(red arrow) There is a small indent made by a tool( in production along the bottom ... moreedge(red arrow) At first I thought it was a tiny flake, but under magnification, you can see it is a push in of the ceramic. There are some tiny“imperfections” not 100% smooth) in the surface of the piece, as expected from work of this period. ANTIQUE EDDA AMPHORA AUSTRIA CRABAPPLES VASE ART NOUVEAU
This stunning Amphora Edda vase is the epitome of classic art nouveau pottery. It was made sometime between 1886-1910. There is a frosting of iridescence throughout the cream. Peach and earth tones on the body of the piece along with a rich dusting across the high relief of the crabapples. Condition is excellent for its age and delicate design There is slight crazing on the body of the vase. But no discoloration. The extremely fragile branches and leaves are all intact. Close inspection with a loop has shown there are three fleabites or flakes to the edges of the two of the leaves. There is a very small chip on the backside of the leaf furthest to the right. Please see photo. There is a glaze miss on one leaf that does give the impression of a chip. But it is coated with iridescent glaze and is as it was at manufacture. It measures 7 ½” ... morehigh. Here is an antique Art Nouveau porcelain fruit vase by Josef Strnact- JS Austria- Freudian" Molded Fruit VASE. This vase dates from about 1937. It it marked"JS Made in Austria" in reddish orange shield. And impressed with 4537 in oval and another impressed letter that looks like a 7. You may know amphora as a type of large two-handled Grecian vase originally designed for storage. But the name Amphora also refers to art pottery produced in the Turn-Teplitz region of Bohemia during the Art Nouveau era. HUGE pair art nouveau vases Secessionist Turn teplitz Amphora 18" high
These European art nouveau vases are real statement pieces. So decorative and striking. I have not been able to track down the mark as to be able to attribute them to a particular factory. I would imagine that they are either German or Austrian. They are a wonderful shape and the decoration fits the form perfectly. They each measure a staggering 18" tall and are marked to the base as seen in the images. They are in very good condition.

3 Hand Painted Enamel Art Nouveau Ernst Wahliss Porcelain Teplitz Amphora Vases
Gorgeous 3 pc. Garniture Set. Austrian Turn Teplitz Art Nouveau Vases, Hand Painted. This is a beautiful example of Austrian Turn Teplitz Amphora Porcelain. It is very rare to find a garniture/ mantle set in such wonderful condition. The vases were made by Ernst Wahliss- Alexandra Porcelain Works. C.1905-1915. The vases are hand painted with heavy raised enamel Iris florals, with gold gilt highlights and heavy raised gold gilt borders. The florals travel around the edges of each side. The two outside taller vases stand 13 3/4" tall. The middle vase is 11 1/2" tall. There are NO chips, dings or nicks the vases. The third vase to right has a very tight surface hairline at the pedestal stem that goes half around the outside of pedestal stem base right where the stem meets the body of the vase. It does not affect the integrity of the vase, as it does not go through. it is the outside surface) Very minor wear to gilding at rims. Here is a beautiful painted amphora-style Art Nouveau soliflor vase made by"Victoria" Schmidt& Co. A high quality Bohemian(Austrian until 1918, then Czech after Bohemia became part of Czechoslovakia at the end of WW1) china manufacturer. The company was founded in 1885 and produced fine porcelain until 1958, then became an pottery school for gifted artists, which it still is. The scene represents two young girls. Finely depicted. Beautiful Art Nouveau Compote. Rare. Marked on the underside RStk. Crown, encircled'Amphora' encircled'Austria' crown, impressed with maker/mold numbers 65(9& 18. Also has the letter'K' possibly the makers signature. Dimensions are: Stands about 18cm tall, 13.5cm dia to the foot, flower to flower, approx. 28cm. This piece does have a very tight hairline located within the compote(approx 12 o'clock) difficult to photograph as it really is a very, very tight hairline, hardly discernible. The roses have chips to the petals, as photographed as does one leaf. To the underside of the piece, there are markings to the glaze. There is a small mark to the rim of the compote- not exactly damage per se but occurred at manufacturing. This piece was gifted as a wedding present just after the turn of the century. Antique Amphora porcelain figural vase Art Nouveau putti with cherries
A beautiful antique Art Nouveau Amphora porcelain vase with putti and cherries. It stands 10 1/2" high and is in amazing condition considering is fragile nature. There is a pinky missing to the figure's left hand and a very small niche through the glaze at the back. The glaze is a green with subtle gold irridescence. The vase form is very natural and flowing with a sort of Jack-in-the-Pulpit opening. Note the cut out at the base. The figure is very graceful and the cherry stems and blossom are simply amazing. Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory of Bohemia made this lovely Art Nouveau period vase sometime between 1882-1914. It is an amphora shape. All hand-painted and hand-made. A green Heron stands among reeds and aquatic flowers with his bill up. Gold highlights add depth and light to the scene. The deep rose to fair pink color of the flowers is repeated in the handles. Those colors seem to be a signature of his work; see the next-to-last photo of a very large Hanke vase I have available. The body and decoration colors match the smaller vase very well. Hi. This auction is for this RARE ANTIQUE AMPHORA WINGED DRAGON VASE CONVERTED TO A LAMP. This is truly a stunning piece with a detailed winged dragon wrapped around a colorful glazed pottery. This vase was introduced at the Paris exposition of 1900 It is signed on bottom(amphora) and some numbers. Also signed on side and the date of 99 This measures 17" tall on just the vase part and to the lamp socket it is 25" it also does have the harp and finial. Condition has some chips on the pointed wing ends and dragon's spine( that is common with these) also bottom drilled for cord. I had to cut the cord as it was old and had bare wires.
