The top of the vase appears as an open petal- in gold. The base of the vase is trimmed in gold with green and yellow flowers. The back of the vase has a bud with green leaves and gold stems. The vase stands approximately one foot at the tallest point is about 7 inches wide at the widest point. The base is approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter. Very good condition- no chips or cracks can be seen. This item was transported by relatives from Austria/Germany prior to WWII. Stunning Robert Hanke Vase from the area of(Ladowitz. Bohemia, Austria) The markings date the vase to 1900-1918 period for the Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory. The vase stands almost 8 inches tall and is not quite 5 wide the widest. Condition is very good with no chips or cracks. The main color is a creamy almond with blue floral on the body with gold trim. In the center of the front is a cobalt blue section of floral. All is trimmed in gold!

THE HISTORY: The Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory was founded in Ladowitz. Bohemia, Austria in 1882, and closed in 1945. THE PIECE: This hand painted floral porcelain vase is a wonderful example of the Hanke design. It dates to the 1900's. The beautiful floral hand painting is outlined in fine gilt lines subtlety matching the large gilt handles and base rim. There is gilt loss around the rim of the mouth of the vase consistent with age and use. And a pin head glaze pop to the rim base. THE HISTORY: The Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory was founded in Ladowitz. Bohemia, Austria in 1882, and closed in 1945. THE PIECE: This hand painted floral porcelain vase is a wonderful example of the Hanke design. It dates to the 1900's. The beautiful floral hand painting is outlined in fine gilt lines subtlety matching the large gilt handles and base rim. There is gilt loss around the rim of the mouth of the vase consistent with age and use. And a pin head glaze pop to the rim base. It could also use a cleaning but that is left up to the buyer, as cleaning method preferences vary from specific collectors. The bottom shows the distinctive Robert Hanke trade stamp. Scroll down for more photos! There is a chip at the top of one handle. It’s the only damage and. For someone craftier than I, about as easy a chip to repair as you could hope to find. The vase is beautiful and dates to a bout a decade either side of 1900. The shape is beautifully modeled and proportioned and in a conservatively Victorian taste. It is porcelain, made by Robert Hanke in Austria. The color is a combination of very pale peach and an even paler green. There are highlights in satin gold(some wear to the gold) The vase stands about 10 ¾” high and is approximately 5 ¼” across at its widest. There is a Robert Hanke back stamp in red on the bottom. This is large and heavy enough to be expensive to ship. Be aware of that cost. U.S. Shipping: Goods are shipped promptly upon receipt of payment. This vase is stunning 151/2 inches tall. it is 8 inches from one handle to the other the opening is 5 3/4 inches and the base is 5 inches. the first two pictures are without flash and give best representation of color. there is wear to the gold trim and some of the paint. the picture is amazing. there was another with this one but has been severely damaged. it was even bigger! the mark on the bottom was more legible than on this one but at least I was able to find out who made it! the woman hosting the estate sale said these were on display in the tasting room of an old winery?
