This is a stunning 19th Century Frank Mehlem Royal Bonn vase with nouveau raised gilt decoration. The top of this particular vase is not commonly seen. It's a very desirable size of 10 1/2" A gorgeous cobalt blue on top and bottom bracketing an ivory color hand painted with pink and yellow roses. All of it is set off with the gold accents. This auction is for this Beautiful 19th Century Hand painted Royal Saxe Gremany Urn/Vase Portrait Vase. I have done a bit of research on this urn/vase and have found that it was made around 1891. From what I am able to gather it was made in the Original factory of the Royal Saxe Family Schlegelmilch. The portrait painting is in perfect condition with 24K gold paint with no chips in the paint. Also look at the pictures of the handles. They are in 24k gold with detailing of a face in them, the detail of this urn/vase is simply amazing. I have seen several other listings of Royal Saxe Germany, but none of them with this imbedded facial image in the handles. This urn/vase is in absolutely amazing condition. The only thing that I am able to find wrong with it is a slight stress line in the neck of the opening. It does not go all the way through ... morethe porcelain but through the paint. The lid is in perfect condition with again no cracks, chips, or any other damage. I believe you could classify this as in nearly perfect condition. This of course is my opinion and everyone's may vary. I am not in anyway a professional glass appraiser nor do I have the full knowledge to value an item. But from my research I am selling this vase way below what others are valuing these urns/vases at in this condition and with the lid) I have attempted to cover as much as I can about this piece. 19th c Royal Worcester Footed Vase APPLIED FLOWERS Antique RARE
This is a GORGEOUS piece of Royal Worcester pottery from the 1880's I would suppose but anyone knowing the RW marks can probably date this from the very vivid mark on the bottom which is done in torquoise. It stands five inches high from it's beautifully shaped. Golded, dainty and detailed feet. There is wonderful golded detail around the top of the vase. And what I love the most are the many, many, many flowers that are attached to this vase all around. There are too many variaties to know them all but they are done with ribbons in a cascade effect. This vase is NOT perfect. There appears to be one repaired foot. The ribbons have lost some of their detail and flowers have dings. What is amazing is how detailed the flowers are and how much is just as it was done in a time when people could craft an item as beautiful as this vase. ... moreI will start this at a fair price and hope someone else appreciates quality as much as I do.

19th Century Royal Doulton Lambeth Silicon Ware Stoneware Decorated Vase NR
This is a very ornate and early piece of Royal Doulton pottery. When they were called Doulton Lambeth company. This piece made Circa 1880's is part of a line of items called Silicon ware. Similar to Wedgwood Jasperware items. It is a brown stoneware body with applied very ornate and detailed white overlay pottery. With Squares. Foliate, Flowers, Scrolls And Acanthus leaves and more. With a lined decoration to the base body as well in areas. A tall slender neck with wide bulbous body. Marked on the bottom with the Doulton Lambeth Silicon mark as well as bbb and 1884 possibly a year mark I'm not sure. It measures approx. 9" by 6" The items in in very good condition. No chips or cracks to the body. The white overlay has some light cracking to it. Which is typical and happened during the firing or making of the piece. No loss ... moreto the overlay. The very top edge of the rim of the neck is lighter color than the rest. Which I think has been polished down a little bit. But really isn't that noticeable and is not distracting from the piece.
