Noritake Company, Limited(Formerly the"Morimura Brothers Trading Company" and"Nippon Toki Kaisha Limited" ... morewhen this Vase was Produced, 1876 to Present) Antique Porcelain, Japanese Art Pottery, Oil Jar Vase with Arts and Crafts Style Buttress Handles featuring a Hand Painted Bridge, House and River Scene on one side and a River Scene on the other side along with an Art Nouveau Background Decoration in Cobalt Blue, Light Blue, Olive Green and Gold Trim in Overall"Excellent" Used Condition, Circa 1911 to 1921. This superb Noritake. Nippon era vase has no chips, cracks, glaze crazing, scratches, scuffs, stains or repairs of any kind. I'm grading this vase as being in"Excellent" condition because the only flaw it does have is some worn gold accent trim in several places. Please keep in mind that the gold trim was usually applied over the finished piece and with this vase being somewhere between 91 to 101 years old it's inevitible that some gold would be worn away. Another thing to keep in mind is that because the gold trim is applied last it can easily be restored if you desired for a minimal cost. There are still a good many porcelain artists out their who have the resources and skill to restore the missing gold on this vase easily and without much expense. The hand painted scenes on this vase are nothing short of stunning and the trim colors of white, cobalt blue, turquoise, green and gold work together extremely well. In all honesty I can't describe the colors and decorative patterns this vase has any better than what the pictures I've provided can d do, so please use the"Supersize" and"Zoom" features when you view this piece. I would definitely call this vase an acurate portrayal of the"Art Nouveau" era or period and it's a traditional Chinese or Japanese jar vase with two ninety degree butress handles which are reminiscent of the arts and crafts era pottery which was coming to an end when this vas

This is an exquisite antique Victorian era porcelain and gilded metal ewer. the body of this stunning ewer is made from porcelain and hand painted with a floral scene. it has an abundance of rich color and a green to whit background gradient. very well painted. the base. Spout, and handle are made from a gold gilded metal and extremely ornate. the base is nicely footed with demonic faces wrapping the top. Up for your consideration. I've had this vase for a very long time. Hoping to try and decipher the maker's mark on bottom but have given up, it's just to hard to make out. FYI it is a definite raised Oval mark with some sort of markings in the middle but can't figure them out. Also appears to have a#2 in dark green color, I think. Anyway, it's beautifully made and stands 9 3/4" high by 6" wide. Raised motif on front& back makes me believe that is was hand painted. Outstanding gold gilded handles on either side have managed to remain intact thru the years! I THINK it might be Oriental in nature just from the look, mark on bottom, etc, but I am by no means an expert on such things. One thing I am sure of is it's just lovely, appears to be in excellent condition with no chips/cracks/repairs noted, gold gilding ... morein very good condition& a lovely example of workmanship long gone by. This is a very high quality 19th century hand painted porcelain figural Paris vase. It is completely gilded in 24kt gold and completely painted by hand. it depicts 2 armed warriors guarding a castle in the background which wraps the vase. the figures are painted with a realistic approach and painted very well. the rim of the vase is painted with thick colored enamel and also completely wraps the vase it stands 7 1/2 by 3 3/4 inches. it is overall in nice shape. Antique German 19th Century ~Rudolstadt~ Cobalt & Gold Gilded Lidded Urn Vase
Great piece. Late 1800's. Has markings on the bottom of it. Measures 11" tall and 5" across at its widest. Very good shape for its age with a couple small flaws shown in last two photos. Both lion heads did have rings in their mouths connecting on each side but as you can see they are missing and each side of their mouths were touched up with gold paint. The top gold piece on the lid has a chip off two tips of the leaves and were touched up with gold paint. Beautiful rare piece that still displays great. Thanks for looking at my auction!

The top opening measures 2 3/4 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide. The base of this vase measures 3 1/2 inches long and 2 3/4 inches wide. This vase is in excellent condition with no nicks. Antique c1904 Royal German RW Rudolstadt Hand Painted Floral Design with Gold Gild Handles with Rope Design. Vase has a lid with finial. Some wear on the gold gild but in EXCELLENT CONDITION! This item is stated as a c1904 but could be older then that! MEASURES: 14" x 7" PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE!Rudolstadt was a faience factory in the Thuringia region of Germany from 1720 to about 1791. In 1854. Ernst Bohne began working in the area. From about 1887 to 1918, the New York and Rudolstadt Pottery made decorated porcelain marked with the RW and crown familiar to collectors. Other pottery marks picture two eagles inside a shield, attached back-to-back with a smaller shield between them. This porcelain was imported by Lewis Straus and Sons of New York, which later became Nathan Straus and Sons. The word Royal was included in their import ... moremark. Collectors often call it"Royal Rudolstadt. Most pieces found today were made in the late nineteenth or early twentieth century.
