The Vase features a Porcelain body with antique white or cream colored. Gold patterned background, surrounding what I believe to be, a charming hand painted pastel focal Cherub. The reverse side of the Urn/ Vase features Floral Rose and Torch motif. Both center motifs are trimmed and decorated in blue accented raised gold gilding. The Porcelain body is mounted in Cloisonne in gold decorated dark and light blue colors. Also has gold colored ornate handles. Brass opening at top and at the bottom base and in between Cloisonne. The Vase measures approximately 7 7/8" tall. It is heavy with the porcelain body having a solid feel to it. ... moreThere are no identifying marks but I believe it to be possibly French in comparison to other similar Cloisonne and Porcelain Cherub painted Urns and Vases. On offer we have a French hand-painted vase. It is beautifully detailed with a merry cherub with blue wings playing a trumpet(with a backup one at his feet) and gliding along some clouds and draperies(so very French) with a pair of doves and has a gilded rim. Collar, and bottom edge. There is 1 tiny flake chip on the bottom edge that has been touched up somewhere along the way. This little vase measures just 4" tall and 2.5" at the widest point. Victoria Austria 11" rose and tulip semi nude female and putti cherub vase 1910s
I have for you this evening a lovely antique porcelain vase made at the factories of Victoria Austria around the beginning of the 20th century. This piece has a dynamic mold shape with beautifully scrolled handles and ribbed body. The piece is made of a thin translucent porcelain with a high gloss clear glaze throughout onto which has been laid along the ridges. Rim and base a very pretty lustre finish. One side of the vase has a transfer scene with a semi nude female and putti or cherubs in a scene named Love's Offering and the other side has hand painted flowers including a rose and tulip that are very well painted. The handles and trim work are very lightly chased in gold gilt. Item dimensions and dating: All measurements are approximate. This piece measures 11" tall and has a base diameter of 4" and a rim diameter of 1.75" ... moreThis piece dates from the early twentieth century by the marks and design elements. Sweet little bisque porcelain vase with a cherub. Birds, and flowers decorating it. It is high quality with lovely detailing to the face on the cherub and the colors are beautiful. The gilding is all intact. It stands 6 1/2 inches high by 4 inches wide by 4 inches deep. It is unmarked. There is damage to one rose petal on the front of the vase. See photo#4 with arrow. This Antique Porcelain Egg with Cherub is a small table vase. It stand 3 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" at its widest point. My research makes me wonder if it is a Sitzendorf piece. It is in wonderful condition considering its age. Almost perfect condition. Upon close inspection, there is no damage, no cracks, only one tiny piece is missing in the cherubs hand. Very Sweet and Nicely Done Cherub Pulling a Cart Highly Embellished with Pink Bisque Roses and Gold Detailing Very Pretty Facial Features and Delicately Modeled I have used this as part of a year-round cherub collection kept in a glass curio cabinet. Nice for a traditional. Victorian, or Shabby Chic Decor Also very nice for Valentine's Day No Maker's Mark. But I purchased this a number of years ago from an antiques store. And the nice quality assures me it is an older piece Unfortunately. I knocked it over while dusting and one of the handles broke. It was a clean break. And I have repaired it with a good repair which is not easily detected with the naked eye. I have shown a close-up of the repair in the 8th photo but it is very difficult to see the break- it's just before the first flower. Also. I think there may be a rose missing(or ... moremaybe even more than one) on the wheel pictured in the 9th photo- however. This is the way I bought the piece. And I'm not certain. It is a very busy figure, so even if rose(s) missing. It does not detract in the least, in my opinion. I am guessing that only because there is a roughness on the surface of the wheel. And the placement of roses is asymmetrical. Because of the repair and possible missing rose. I am setting the opening bid considerably lower than the price I originally paid for this figure. It needs a little TLC. The metal base turns. Is quite wobbly and the vase does not sit perfectly straight. I believe the center screw is slightly bent. I did not attempt to fix this myself as I did not risk damaging the porcelain or cracking the metal as the screw is too tight for me to budge. Offered is a antique vase in heavy porcelain with metal top and base. I believe this is European. Possibly French. The body has ... moredesigns with cherubs and a draped reclining woman on one side and 2 cherubs with a ribbon on the other side. The metal top has clover designs along the top and vine and leaf designs on the side handles. The picture with the lady is signed"doecker" The base has curly leaf like designs. This measures about 11 1/8" tall to the top of the metal designs on the side. The opening is about 3" across. As stated above this has issues- Base turns and wiggles.and I found a small dent on the top rim. One of the top of the handle sides looks to be slightly bent. The porcelain has quite a bit of wear to the gold accent designs above and below the top green band. Plus the designs above the lower green band are gone. The cherub designs look good and there are no cracks or chips to the porcelain. Pretty but does need some Repair. This will ship USPS Priority at a 4 pound rate within the US. Large white vase with cherub faces and wings in the center of the front. Along the top and bottom of the front are several porcelain roses in pink with gold trim and mint green leaves. The only visible flaw I find is one of the roses has a small nick that is not very noticeable. The vase has two tall side handles outlined in gold- the top is scalloped with a gold outline. France porcelain vase that is the maker of Klingenberg& Charles Dwenger who did porcelain from 1900-1910. This fine vase stands about 11" tall and has a light pink background and features a scene of 2 cherubs or putti on the front with one holding a bow and arrow and the other laying back on a blanket. Around this scene is a lot of hand painted slightly raised gold that forms swirls and dots plus an area of gold branches and leaves with some leaves in green that are painted across the area beneath the cherubs. There are 2 heavy gold painted handles. The rim has gold with small scallops and gold that is shaded down the upper neck area. Backside has a single cherub. This is a rare antique two handled vase that features hand painted cherubs and flying birds. The primary colors are off white. Leaf green, burgundy and gold. One side features cherubs in the clouds and the other side features flying birds. The vase is signed J.B. Montgomery. Oct. 30, 1892. It bears the mark MHLA France. Measures 9" tall x 7" wide x 2 1/4" front to back. There is slight wear to the gilt trimmed handles and on the inside. There are no cracks or chips and is in very nice condition for it's age. This is a great piece for the cherub collector.

This auction is for a vintage porcelain vase bowl or basket. Its not marked. But its looks vintage Austrian porcelain to me. Its gorgeous, the applied flowers are amazing, and the colors are vibrant. It measures about 12" wide by 11" tall. There is an orange flower on the right that has chipped petals. However there's enough flower remaining that its not distracting. On the left there is a blue flower. Where the glazed blue paint chipped off but the remainder of the flower's petal is intact. There is a spot of paint rub off of the left cherub's foot. All of these problems are clearly denoted in the photos. The bowl is slightly dirty. And I made no attempt to clean it. All of the little fingers and toes of the cherubs are there. It has NO crazing. These are a pair of(2 identical mirror image) vintage/antique ball vases. They have no hallmarks that I have found. One of them has been repaired but there are no pieces missing. The other one has a chip out of the tip of the flower petal. Victorian Basket Porcelain Planter Basket Cherub Angel figure or Art Nouveau planter vase in the shape of a basket with cherub. The basket appears to be hand painted with applied flowers. And the handle designed with flowers and bows. It is unmarked. It measures 5 1/2" tall, and 4 1/2" wide. It is in good condition with no repairs or damage. The cherub has no chips on fingers or toes or wings. The cherub appears to be stepping inside and the other is a complete leg that goes all the way down in basket. This could be used for candy, as it is clean inside and not stained. This is a beautiful old piece to add to a colleciton. I acquired it in 1977 and have the receipt from the antique store.

This is for a pair(2) of victorian style antique vases both marked with the A.G. Harley England stamp dating 1907-1934. There are no cracks or repairs. Photo 7 shows a couple of small nicks or chips on the inside of rim. Color is a glazed cobalt blue with pink interiors-one is a little lighter pink than the other. Gold trim. The makers mark on this piece dates back as far as 1891 The body is done in a deep plum red with a finely applied gold pattern and flower design surrounding the center artwork.
