So please take a look at the pictures and ask any questions that I haven't answered. This lamp is composed of a cinnabar vase and either a separate part or the top to the vase. The top part has a brass ring around it. And under that it looks like wood painted black. The brass ring has a lot of paint chipped off. If you only count the red part of the lamp it is 12" high. If the lamp pieces were all put together properly it would be almost 17" to the top of the socket. It's mounted on a metal base this is partly corroded. The metal lamp parts on top do not screw in properly. I don't think the part with the threads that is attached to the top of the vase is long enough. There is one spot on the side that looks like white paint. And one spot near the top where a piece of flower chipped off. If you fix the metal parts it does turn on when plugged in. 1900 -1940 ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU ROBERT HANKE DOUBLE HANDLED GILDED FLORAL VASE

THE HISTORY: The Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory was founded in Ladowitz. Bohemia, Austria in 1882, and closed in 1945. THE PIECE: This hand painted floral porcelain vase is a wonderful example of the Hanke design. It dates to the 1900's. The beautiful floral hand painting is outlined in fine gilt lines subtlety matching the large gilt handles and base rim. There is gilt loss around the rim of the mouth of the vase consistent with age and use. And a pin head glaze pop to the rim base. It could also use a cleaning but that is left up to the buyer, as cleaning method preferences vary from specific collectors. The bottom shows the distinctive Robert Hanke trade stamp. There are no cracks, chips, or repairs to this ... morevase. It measures 11" H x about 5 1/2"W in the center of the body. The mouth is 3"W. This 19th Century dark brown vase is one of a kind. Extremely rare. It was bought in Jerusalem 83 years ago, in 1931. The top scalloped rim and round base are 2 1/4" in diameter. On the lower half of the vase are floral designs on a white background. The vase stands 4 3/4" tall and weighs 8 1/2 ounces. Antique 1900-1940 hand painted glass vase with silver rim
This rare antique vase is a collector's dream. It stands 14 inches tall and has a 4 1/4 inch wide opening. The base measures 4 inches around. It appears to be hand blown glass. It is iridescent slightly frosted glass with a greenish cast. The cylindrical shaped vase is topped with a 2 1/2 inch wide scalloped silver crown that includes a half inch wide band of filigree engraving. The vase is decorated with relief style painted gold lines looped in a whimsical heart shape, small painted sections of red, green, blue and white complete the elegant design. The design is on the back and front of the vase, with a smaller design on both sides. There is no hallmark present. The age of the piece is estimated by the length of time it has been in our family.

SAMURAI WARRIOR Satsuma Vase with DRAGON Handles & Base Japan Moriage 1900-1940
Here we are offering a Satsuma Vase depicting a Great Japanese Samurai Warrior. The Samurai symbolizes Strength of Honor and Courage. He is shown here in his full battle regalia. This is a stoneware piece produced in Japan during the 1920-1930's. Satsuma Style Art was extremely popular in the US at this time because of it's intricate detailing and it's romanticism. The Satsuma Style of finely detailed spaces and moriage. Give texture and depth to the vase. This vase is signed by the artist. The double handles are in the shape of DRAGON HEADS. The enameling is done in an array of warm natural colors, like burnt sienna, raw umber and ochre with a splash of blue, simulating the water. The back of the vase is decorated with large stylized flowers. Moriage details in Gold and colored enamels accents the vase through out. The vase measures ... moreapproximately 10"tall and 4 1/2" diameter. This vase is in VERY GOOD CONDITION, During the firing phase, a crack occurred where one of the handles was applied to the body of the vase. It was glazed over, so it is not weak. The vase has the characteristic crazing. There is some loss of the Gilding on the front and handles. This fine bisque pottery with figurines of a woman with cupid is very attractive. A fine arts decorator from the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. FL thought it was quite pretty. She told me she thought it was Austrian. There are several inscriptions on the bottom, one being the# 13320. It has been in our family since the 1940s.

Royal Copenhagen Vase Art Nouveau Signed RV Porcelain Denmark 1900-1940 Blue
This lovely vase comes from Denmark, It is made by Royal Copenhagen and is signed with the traditional 3 wavy lines and RV. It stands 6 inches tall. It has one large flower and a smaller bud on a beautiful blue background. The blue tint is lighter at the bottom and then intensifies as it goes upward. It is reminiscent of the Art Deco era. There are no crazing marks. Chips or cracks on this vase. The bottom has a area that is unglazed around the white rim. There are 2 numbers under the wavy lines. They are 2668 and 2032.
