Large antique French Sevres style vase unique shape
This hand painted French Sevres style vase is 14 inches tall. It is 8 inches wide at the widest point and 4 ½ inches deep. It has a unique tall and thin shape. It has a hand painted scene on each side. One side depicts a lady in a colorful dress with a basket by her side. Within the scene are the initials E.G. for the artist. The other side depicts a meadow with a hill in the distance. The vase comes with a brass stand. Which is not attached. This piece dates to the late 19 th or early 20 th century. The piece has been drilled and was a lamp at one time. There is rubbing to the gilding on both the top and the bottom. There are a few spots where there has been some glaze loss.

Sevres style cobalt blue pocelain vase
Beautiful cobalt blue with brass or bronze legs and ornate ring around the top. Hand painted scene of a woman holding a flower in an outdoor setting. There is a missing piece at the top of the neck under the beauty ring. It was this way when I found it. There are no visible markings on this piece except for the name LUCE in the picture next to the womans right foot. If this piece is indeed a Sevres I would say that it would have to be from the early to mid 1700's and probably belonged to a French Aristocrat complete with the powdered wig and all.

This auction is for a Sevres turquoise vase. It is in very good condition. Just normal wear, no scratches and no breakage that I can see. I inherited this vase from a family member so I am not an expert about it but it is very beautiful. I don't believe there have been any repairs or touchups but I really don't know for sure. I can't see any, I am not an expert on this type of item so am selling as is. Please review photos and I can provide further photos if needed. 18C 1753 FRENCH LARGE SEVRES PORCELAIN VASE BRONZE MOUNTED HAND PAINTED NoRES This listing is for a 18th century Sevres porcelain hand painted vase with gilt bronze mounts. The vase dates to the first year of Sevres general production 1753-1754. It measures 18 1/2 or 47 cm high. It measures 11 inches or 28 cm wide at the handles. The base is marked with the Sevres mark with an"A" and an impressed"H" The vase is beautifully decorated and Sevres used a variety of techniques to achieve this decorative beauty. The body and the foot of the vase are connected by a bolt and long stud. The gilt bronze ormolu base is also held to the vase by the same means. The body of the vase itself has both flat and raised porcelain work. The raised work of the two applied gold leaf handles continues into the body of the vase and flanks both ... morehand painted reserves. The reserve on the front shows a sweet scene of two young women conversing in a bucolic setting as a small smiling girl folds laundry. The reserve in the back of the vase is a basket filled with roses hanging from a purple ribbon. This reserve has a hand painted leaf and berry border. The background of the vase and foot are in Sevres Celeste blue and white. The design is cleverly done with white and applied gold dots simulating a field of flowers. The top of the vase is fluted and scalloped and has much applied gold. The condition overall is excellent and the bronze foot is original to the vase. Both ends of the handles show old restoration. This restoration is limited to the very ends of the handles and does not extend to the body of the vase or the rest of the handles. A beautiful example of early Sevres porcelain work. ORNATE SEVRES STYLE URN OR VASE For sale is a wonderful Sevres style urn or vase. It may possibly be Sevres. But I cannot find the makers mark, so am listing it as being in the Sevres style. The stands a foot tall and has a romantic couple painted in the center medallion. The cobalt blue glaze is trimmed with detailed accents, such as gold scrolls and cross hatching, an embossed design on the gold surrounding the center medallion and white raised glaze dots(jewels) I believe it may have had a missing mount along the rim, as the glaze work is less evenly finished on the rim. The ormolu mount on the base has lost most of its gold finish(there's just a hint of gold where the vase attaches and underneath the mount) Perhaps the previous owner may have removed it through a heavy cleaning. Regardless, the piece is still beautiful and, aside ... morefrom these items, is in very good used condition. Artist signed in that painting and signed with Edme Samson& Cie's 1920's mark on the bottom. Their has been restoration to the stem on the single foot. It measures approx. 14 1/2" tall and 6" across. I knew that there was a firm in Paris and its sole activity was to copy every well known and much sought after items of porcelain. Enamel, ormolu, bronzes and French clocks. They also made superb copies of the finest period Chinese& Japanese porcelain and were extremely well known through out the collecting world. In fact you could say that there was no fine porcelain or enamels that they did not copy. As originals were becoming more scarce even collectors were interested in their copies. Though it is unmarked, we purchased this exquisite piece from a prestigious auction house in Connecticut and it was listed as a piece manufactured by the French firm of Sevres. An outstanding vase with ornate stand that measures 9.25 inches high on the stand and 7.50 inches high standing alone. The top opening measures 1.75 inches in diameter and the bottom of the base measures 2.25 inches in diameter. The vase has been hand painted with a scene of two men. Possibly dressed in military garb, talking and drinking at an outside table at a drinking establishment. Various other buildings, staircases and a pretty pastoral scene, completes this outstanding piece. A huge 19th century Sevres style vase with cover
This is a museum quality breathtakingly hand painted 19th century Sevres vase with cover. It is a huge piece with about 37.5 inches high and 16 inches wide. The body of the vase can rotate on the base. The ground color of Sevres blue is so refreshing and the painting was so well done. The gilt is faded somewhat however for people who love antiques. It is an evidence of more than 100 years of natural aging. There is not any cracks, chips, or hairlines on the vase, however, with very careful and close inspection, I find 4 scratches on the painting. Please see the last four photo. Nevertheless, I cannot notice them at 2 feet away without prior knowledge of their existence. One of the handles cannot rest fully due to the slight bent of the screw that fixes the handle to the vase. The handle does rest on the vase if you apply a very gentle force, ... moremeaning as simple as a double face tape would solve the problem) I have disclosed any and all defects I can find so bid with confidence. It will be a great addition to your upscale home. Due to its volume, weight, and fragility, I only ship to domestic 48 states, unless you are willing to pay extra hefty fee for international shipping, and I do not accept return.
