This superb Noritake. Nippon era vase has no chips, cracks, glaze crazing, scratches, scuffs, stains or repairs of any kind. I'm grading this vase as being in"Excellent" condition because the only flaw it does have is some worn gold accent trim in several places. Please keep in mind that the gold trim was usually applied over the finished piece and with this vase being somewhere between 91 to 101 years old it's inevitible that some gold would be worn away. Another thing to keep in mind is that because the gold trim is applied last it can easily be restored if you desired for a minimal cost. There are still a good many porcelain artists out their who have the resources and skill to restore the missing gold on this vase easily and without much expense. The hand painted scenes on this vase are nothing short of stunning and the trim colors of white, cobalt blue, turquoise, green and gold work together extremely well. In all honesty I can't describe the colors and decorative patterns this vase has any better than what the pictures I've provided can d do, so please use the"Supersize" and"Zoom" features when you view this piece. I would definitely call this vase an acurate portrayal of the"Art Nouveau" era or period and it's a traditional Chinese or Japanese jar vase with two ninety degree butress handles which are reminiscent of the arts and crafts era pottery which was coming to an end when this vas

ANTIQUE EDDA AMPHORA AUSTRIA CRABAPPLES VASE ART NOUVEAU
This stunning Amphora Edda vase is the epitome of classic art nouveau pottery. It was made sometime between 1886-1910. There is a frosting of iridescence throughout the cream. Peach and earth tones on the body of the piece along with a rich dusting across the high relief of the crabapples. Condition is excellent for its age and delicate design There is slight crazing on the body of the vase. But no discoloration. The extremely fragile branches and leaves are all intact. Close inspection with a loop has shown there are three fleabites or flakes to the edges of the two of the leaves. There is a very small chip on the backside of the leaf furthest to the right. Please see photo. There is a glaze miss on one leaf that does give the impression of a chip. But it is coated with iridescent glaze and is as it was at manufacture. It measures 7 ½” ... morehigh. Here is an antique Art Nouveau porcelain fruit vase by Josef Strnact- JS Austria- Freudian" Molded Fruit VASE. This vase dates from about 1937. It it marked"JS Made in Austria" in reddish orange shield. And impressed with 4537 in oval and another impressed letter that looks like a 7. You may know amphora as a type of large two-handled Grecian vase originally designed for storage. But the name Amphora also refers to art pottery produced in the Turn-Teplitz region of Bohemia during the Art Nouveau era. These wares are referred to by dealers and collectors as“Teplitz” from time to time as well. 3 ANTIQUE PARIAN WARE AMPHORA VASEs BENNINGTON- AS IS
Lot of 3 Bennington Parian Ware vases. Made between 1847 and 1858. They were in a huge collection from a New England estate. The vase on the left is 4 3/8" tall. The body is in very good condition, the grape motif on one side is missing the vine, the leaves(one is included unattached) and some grapes(photo 6) The center piece is gorgeous. It's 8 1/8" tall, blue and white with grape motif throughout. It is missing the grape cluster below the handle on one side, and some of the leaves in the same general area(photo 7) It also has a small chip on the base(photo 9) The third vase is very delicate and graceful, it has nice lines and the scalloped top softens the design. This piece is made of excellent grade porcelain and has been cast into a unique pitcher mold form with raised and embossed elements. This piece has been hand painted with a floral design outlined in gold gilt raised slip and beaded. The decoration and design elements are perfect for the period. The front of the vase has a wonderful floral design with applied jewels set against a matte background of ochre to creamy yellow colors enhanced with gilded detailing. It has two ornately shaped gilded handles. A band of gold surrounds the perimeter at the neck of the vase. The base carries one of the well-documented RH marks“Made ... morein Austria” identifying the Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory. The factory was founded in 1882 in what was then the Czech Republic. Antique Amphora porcelain figural vase Art Nouveau putti with cherries
A beautiful antique Art Nouveau Amphora porcelain vase with putti and cherries. It stands 10 1/2" high and is in amazing condition considering is fragile nature. There is a pinky missing to the figure's left hand and a very small niche through the glaze at the back. The glaze is a green with subtle gold irridescence. The vase form is very natural and flowing with a sort of Jack-in-the-Pulpit opening. Note the cut out at the base. The figure is very graceful and the cherry stems and blossom are simply amazing. From a recent and wonderful old estate collection. It shows no maker's mark but certainly from the Teplitz area in Bohemia.

Magnificent Natural Formed EDDA Amphora 12' Pitcher with Grapes by Stellmacher. Reissner and Kessel Dripping form with bone shaped handle and dinosaur bottom. Grapes are irredescent with leave and brachch gree.Red, and natural.The glaze is cream hues enhanced by amazing textures and age crazing.Over the glaze before the applied leaves and grapes is a copper patina green blue. I have not cleaned the piece(as found) so I'm not sure if that is irridescent too. Size: 12' high x9' wide at the widest. Condition: Excellent or better for its age. 114 yrs! Minor leaf chips and one branch gap(1' which adds credibility to its authenticity.

An antique Victorian large porcelain beautiful woman portrait vase with applied figural handles which have hanging blue& purple plums. The portrait looks like hand painted over a chromolitho transfer. It's quite handsome. Background is a seafoam green shading into a deep green at bottom. Unusual vase shape. This is an Austrian porcelain, the bottom has markings as shown, a crown mark, conjoined HJ. Vienna Austria. 23, 7. an incised initial F, possibly the decorator's mark. Vase is large& showy. 14" tall x approx. 6-3/4" at widest, handles are approx. 7-1/2" long. One handle has had been broken off at the top down to just above the bottom strur. It has been reglued in 4 spots to reconnect it. I have ... moregiven pics of these spots from the front& back-it's not a bad repair& could be touched up a bit if desired. The other handle has chipping on the outer leaf edge, 1 spot was touched up& the other chip awaits a touch up. In normal display/ viewing these are really not obvious(to my eye) There are no other chips cracks or repairs. A few light scuffs on the bottom bulbous part. Portrait is in excellent condition with no loss or damage. I have not cleaned the vase. It needs a gentle cleaning. Selling as is. Priority or parcel shipping option. Use calculator. This 10" tall vase/pottery item is in near perfect condition. The gold edging is worn but it has not been repaired in any way. Below is the history I was able to gather from the internet on a vase/pottery item identical to this one- only with peaches instead of pears on the base. Please email with any questions. Antique Turn Teplitz Amphora RStK Bohemia Floral Pitcher, c.1892-1905 Austria
RARE and in very good condition. Made in Austria. The gold is slightly worn on the handle. Around the neck near the handle and around the pedestal band. There is one and possibly another(hard to tell) hairline crack in the opening, at the top of the vase barely detectable. It stands 10 3/4" high and it is right about 4 1/2" wide. At it's widest. The thinnest part of the neck is about 1 1/2" wide.

This vase is stunning 151/2 inches tall. it is 8 inches from one handle to the other the opening is 5 3/4 inches and the base is 5 inches. the first two pictures are without flash and give best representation of color. there is wear to the gold trim and some of the paint. the picture is amazing. there was another with this one but has been severely damaged. it was even bigger! the mark on the bottom was more legible than on this one but at least I was able to find out who made it! the woman hosting the estate sale said these were on display in the tasting room of an old winery? RARE LARGE 13" x 9.5" ANTIQUE AMPHORA BOHEMIAN TEPLITZ DRAGON VASE TOMMY JONES COLLECTION size: 12.75" high with a max. 9.5" across at the widest point. A very rare find. Tommy Jones bought this piece 40 years ago and was one of his most treasured pieces. Impressed marks on base reflect the numbers 291 and 13. There is a very faint teplitz underglaze mark that remains. Unique design with that Asian feel to it. probably late 1800's to early 1900's. Chip on dragons beard. Small base chip, top of dragon head and a few tiny touchups of small chips. Teplitz refers to art pottery manufactured by a number of companies in the Teplitz-Turn area of Bohemia during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
