Here is a Rare Antique 1800s Royal Bonn FRANZ MEHLEM Floral Colorful Double Gourd Vase in excellent condition. It is about 8 1/2" and bottom bulbous bowl is about 8" diameter. This is the only like this on Ebay and the internet. The only minor issues on 1 leave there is a spot were paint has flaked off. There are no chips. Cracks, or repairs. This desi gn is very rare in this condition. It weighs about 1lb 10 ounces. A wesome Antique. Royal Bonn is the nineteenth-and twentieth-century trade name used by Franz Anton Mehlem. Who had a pottery in Bonn, Germany, from 1836 to 1931. Porcelain and earthenware were made. Royal Bonn used a monogram-and-tower mark that appeared on exported pottery only with Germany added. Antique Signed Royal Bonn Portrait Porcelain Urn Vase ~Rare C. 1870 Museum piece depicting Marie Antoinette~ Unlike any other Royal Bonn out there. This grandiose and beautiful lidded portrait urn is from workshop of Franz Anton Mehlem of Bonn, Germany, circa 1870. This is a wonderful and richly coloured Pompadour rose pink vase embellished with elaborate ornamentation in the classical manner of the mid 1800's. Using magnificent bands of exquisite polychrome hand-painted decoration. Possessing delicate floral encrusted and gilt handles. The body of this urn features a portrait MASTERPIECE of Marie Antoinette, Queen of France, exquisitely painted in fine detail and set in a gilded cartouche which has been signed by the artist(P. Juhmer) At the back, a flourish of gilded flowers and musical instruments in heavy impasto gilt are sensationally ... moredisplayed. Four miniature gilt florets frame each side of the body, both front and back. In the second photo one of these florets appears as a smudge but it is indeed a perfectly painted miniature flower in gold- so difficult to photograph this highly reflective vase: White and gold hand-painted acanthus leaves in high relief are featured on the base. Lid is crowned with a regal gilt finial. Multi-coloured hand-painted flowers are dispersed throughout entire piece in bouquet and swag designs. Royal Bonn small round vase; Made in Germany. Artist signed Bauer. Tones of green. Violet, blue, yellow. Delicate painted face. The vase is 5" tall and 4" across at the widest point. The diameter of the base is 2 and 1/8" There is some loss of gilding at the edge of the mouth of vase. Some crazing on surface. But no cracks. The gilding at the base is intact. The vase may need some cleaning. But I have left it alone. Also, there is a very small object inside that I can hear and tried to remove but the mouth of the vase is so narrow I wasn't able to get it. Perseverance will do it, though.

Antique Royal Bonn German Vase with Beautiful Floral Pattern
Here is a very beautiful antique Royal Bonn vase which dates to approximately late 1800s. It measures approximately 4 inches tall x 4 inches wide. With a diameter of 1 1/2 inches on the footed base, and a 1/4 inch opening at the opening on the top. The background is gold with shades of dark green, with a lovely floral pattern. This vase boasts a nice shiny glaze. There are no breaks or cracks. A couple small spots of chipped paint, both are less than 1/8th of an inch. It is a footed vase with gold trim on the base. There is also gold trim at the rim. When looking at this in person the quality and exquisiteness of this vase jumps out at the viewer. It's a lovely antique piece. Antique Bud Vase; by Royal Bonn, 1890 - 1920, Spectacular
This antique vase is just gorgeous. It is German. From the maker Franz Anton Mehlem, who,was from Bonn Germany. This maker produced beautiful fine china from 1836- 1931. The official,stamp of this maker from 1890 through 1920 is a crown with the initials F M underneath in capital script lettering.see photos) That is the mark on this particular vase. It has a cream colored background with designs on both sides in a soft green. The scene portrays a green foliage and a woman with a partially exposed bare breast. On each side of her is a cherub in flight. She is wearing a Grecian style gown. On the opposite side is a lovely out door scene which looks to be a knoll or Meadow. There is a tree, grassy foreground, a small body of water, and a calm sky above. The piece is in very good condition, considering its age, it's excellent. There are no ... morechips or cracks, or paint loss at all. Under a magnifying glass"only" there is some light crazing; this of course is a product of its age. Honestly, the vase really looks great. The size and shape of this vase is not rare, but, this particular pattern obviously is. I have scraped and scoured, and have yet to find another like it. This vase stands 7 in high, the top of it measures 1 and a 1/4 in and is done in thick gold. It is 12 and a 1/4 in all the way around the middle. I consider this piece to be special. It's beauty, condition, and rich history all add up to one very special vase. The vase ships free to the continental United States and Puerto Rico.

Beautiful. Large, Royal Bonn vase. Floral decoration with silver and green embellishments. Stands 14 1/2 inches high and is 24 inches in diameter around the widest part. Shows it's age but has no chips, cracks and very little crazing. It is absolutely gorgeous and the pictures certainly don't do it any justice. Royal Bonn is the nineteenth-and twentieth-century trade name used by Franz Anton Mehlem. Who had a pottery in Bonn, Germany, from 1836 to 1931. Porcelain and earthenware were made. Royal Bonn used a monogram-and-tower mark that appeared on exported pottery only with Germany added. The factory was purchased by Villeroy& Boch in 1921 and closed in 1931. Many marks were used. Most including the name Bonn. The initials FM. And a crown.

Who had a pottery in Bonn, Germany, from 1836 to 1931. Porcelain and earthenware were made. Royal Bonn used a monogram-and-tower mark that appeared on exported pottery only with Germany added. The factory was purchased by Villeroy& Boch in 1921 and closed in 1931. This 10" flare top cylindrical vase bears the mark of Royal Bonn/ Franz Anton Mehlem in use circa 1875 to 1890. The background is a very soft cream with vibrant polychrome painted decoration in the aesthetic movement style with raised enamel. The base is about 3 1/8" wide and the top flares to 4 1/2" Most of the flaring is near the top. CONDITION: The base has two large very old chips and a few other small flaws as shown in the photos. When the vase is upright. One chip is slightly visible. When the main decorative side is facing forward, that spot is about at 10 o'clock so you really will not see it when the vase is being displayed. There ... moreis alot of fine crazing, more noticeable toward the bottom of the vase. There is some wear to the gold along the top rim typical of a piece of this age and a wear spot to the gold as shown in photo. Despite these flaws, it presents beautifully.
