You are bidding on a rare and antique squatty squat vase from the late 1800's. It features beautifully hand painted purple flowers with elegant gold accents around the rolled rim. It is signed on the bottom- Vienna. Austria. The mark is that of Peter H. Leonard, a New York importer who purchased items from Count Thun's factory in Klasterec, from 1880 to 1898. This is in excellent condition with only some minor gold paint loss around the rolled rim. There are no chips. Cracks or repairs. The vase measures 5 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches in height. This stunning Amphora Edda vase is the epitome of classic art nouveau pottery. It was made sometime between 1886-1910. There is a frosting of iridescence throughout the cream. Peach and earth tones on the body of the piece along with a rich dusting across the high relief of the crabapples. Condition is excellent for its age and delicate design There is slight crazing on the body of the vase. But no discoloration. The extremely fragile branches and leaves are all intact. Close inspection with a loop has shown there are three fleabites or flakes to the edges of the two of the leaves. There is a very small chip on the backside of the leaf furthest to the right. Please see photo. There is a glaze miss on one leaf that does give the impression of a chip. But it is coated with iridescent glaze and is as it was at manufacture. It measures 7 ½” ... morehigh. Beautiful Antique Hand Painted Victoria Carlsbad Austria Porcelain Art Deco Chrysanthemum vase with ornate Gold Gilded unique shaped handles. This vase is in excellent used condition. No chips, cracks, very slight wear due to age, the colors and gold gild are still very bright and vibrant. The Chrysanthemum flower is gorgeous and the colors on the vase are almost iridescent with gold trimming. There is a plug in the bottom of the vase, it may have been used as a lamp base at one time. It measures 11" tall, 4 1/2" wide from handle to handle, the top is 1 3/4" wide and the base is 3 3/4" wide. This is a stunningly beautiful antique vase. Great piece for any porcelain collection.

Victoria Austria 11" rose and tulip semi nude female and putti cherub vase 1910s
I have for you this evening a lovely antique porcelain vase made at the factories of Victoria Austria around the beginning of the 20th century. This piece has a dynamic mold shape with beautifully scrolled handles and ribbed body. The piece is made of a thin translucent porcelain with a high gloss clear glaze throughout onto which has been laid along the ridges. Rim and base a very pretty lustre finish. One side of the vase has a transfer scene with a semi nude female and putti or cherubs in a scene named Love's Offering and the other side has hand painted flowers including a rose and tulip that are very well painted. The handles and trim work are very lightly chased in gold gilt. Item dimensions and dating: All measurements are approximate. This piece measures 11" tall and has a base diameter of 4" and a rim diameter of 1.75" ... moreThis piece dates from the early twentieth century by the marks and design elements. It is very subtle. Until you get to the bottom rim. The flower pattern is repeated twice once on the front and once on the back. The decoration around the top rim is classic Art Nouveau. There are"Jewels" In the center of each flower, and as triangles around the decorative rim. Measurements: Approximately 10 inches tall. The opening on the top is 2 inches across. I'd like to start with a little bio on myself. I have been actively selling with my big brother on ebay for ten years and have decided to branch out on my own. Most items are vintage or antique and were found at estate sales. Local auctions or flea markets. Up for auction is a vintage or antique large porcelain portrait vase or urn by Victoria of Austria. The bottom is signed in blue Victoria Austria Carlsbad with the symbol of a winged creature and the painted number 24. There's also two impressed numbers or letters on the bottom. A large center medallion or cartouche with the hand embellished portrait of a lovely scantly clad female decorates the front. The overall background color is dark green with gold gilded flowers. A few very small surface scratches were seen in the green glaze. The condition is good. There are no cracks or ... morechips. Just some light wear marks(small scratches) on the bottom from normal use or age and some light loss to the gilding on the twisted rope cable style handles.
