DESCRIPTION This is a very beautiful. Old and unique ROYAL BONN GERMAN PORCELAIN c. 1880-90 vase. The fantastic vase has a marvelous idyllic hand painted bouquet of colorful chrysanthemum along with green. The bottom has a ROYAL BONN GERMANY mark. The vase has a very antiquated and ceremonial feel to it. It measures 8" tall(20.5 cm) and 5" wide(12.5 cm) The ROYAL BONN vase is in very good condition except for that the gold rim is little worn. 1.0. 18" Royal Bonn Portrait Vase with Bronze Collar c 1875 Landscape & Dancers
18" Covered Royal Bonn Portrait Vase w/ Bronze Collar c 1875 Landscape& Dancers Colorful decoration of a young couple dancing and this surrounds the vase. This vase has a bronze collar with a floral pattern in it. The colors are bright. The only damage is a surface chip on the edge of the lid about 1/4" square as shown in photo#11. No cracks or hairlines. The marks on the bottom include an underglaze incised 2 and 259 and the circular mark Franz Ant. Mehlem Bonn Reine as shown in photo#10. The base also shows the Crowned FAM Bonn mark used between 1875- 1890. Also in gold is 2283 and 32(which matches the gold number in the lid) and 1416. Check out my!

I am not an antique dealer. I am not well informed about the old vase, I will show all marks, to help you identify the piece. There are no chips, or cracks, no dings, there is some light crazing, but you(I) have to hold the vase up close to see it. The bottom is marked"Royal Bonn Germany" with what looks to me to be the initials FM or TM and the numbers 1731. There are other marks inscribed on the bottom, it looks like before the vase was fired. The floral design looks hand painted to me. One side has gold leaf around the edges of the design. The piece stands 14 1/2" tall, and is 7" wide at the widest point. I have no idea of the value. I guarantee item to be as described or your money back, including postage both ways.

This auction is for a Simply Superb Bud Vase made by Franz Anton Mehlem Royal Bonn of Germany and Beautifully hand painted with an Owl perched on a moss covered tree with a rising moon in the background and branches. Clouds and a luna moth on the other side. It is a True Work of Art with great brushstrokes and different art styles from brown-toned copper and bronze applied with a sponge to a pattern of small dots in light green for leaves and lines that make the Owl's eyes really pop. A Great Vintage Piece! Lovely Rose Vase by Franz Anton Mehlem There is something to be said about holding a piece of history so close to 100 years old.well in seven more years. I have had this vase for several years and it has been used and purchased used. This Loving looking rose decorated vase has no chips or cracks or hidden repairs. Only defects are in the second photo. 1 spot of paint loss on the leaf just below the large rose near the the highlight leaf area. The other is also on page two in the vary pale blue area next to the upper flower, which you can't hardly see as the pinpoint nicks blend with the background. There is a scratch on the front upper right, visible in the main picture. Neither of these defeats have jeopardized the integrity of the piece. This piece features a unique shaped body that is very eye catching and meant to be on display as the top opening is only large enough for one stem. This piece is glazed in a glossy green and white finish and has been decorated with a transfer that has been well applied. There are hand touched elements to the vase as well includuing all the gilt work around the rim. Of Germany. The ground is soft off white, the plants are painted in soft colors. The flowers are enhanced by gold gilding. The decorative handles are covered in gold; much highlighting on the vase is also done in gold. This Urn is 14" tall and is about 22" around at the widest point. Silvery blue that becomes deeper in color as it washes from the upper body through the base. The raised portions of the fancy designs have been gilded which remains in remarkably good condition today. The handles are scrolled, very ornate, and free of damage of any kind. The front panel offers a cascade of four beautifully hand painted red roses set against a background of shaded and detailed foliage. The rear panel offers a cascade ... moreof two red roses against foliage on a much smaller scale. The overall condition is excellent for a piece of the age. There is uniform fine crazing present in the cover and through the upper creamy portions of the piece that is consistent with porcelain of this vintage. Beautiful Antique Royal Bonn Germany Gondola Centerpiece Bowl measuring 17 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches.tall and 6 1/2 inches deep. This bowl is hand painted and remains brightly colored in cobalt blue and dusty greens. The cupid cherubim dance fancifully in the garden on one side and on the other side the cupids fly. Their musical instruments are pictured on the"corners" of the bowl. This is in fabulous condition for age. I believe this to be from the latter part of the 19th century. Antique Royal Bonn Germany artist signed vase; Pre- Raphaelite, Art Nouveau
Royal Bonn small round vase; Made in Germany. Artist signed Bauer. Tones of green. Violet, blue, yellow. Delicate painted face. The vase is 5" tall and 4" across at the widest point. The diameter of the base is 2 and 1/8" There is some loss of gilding at the edge of the mouth of vase. Some crazing on surface. But no cracks. The gilding at the base is intact. The vase may need some cleaning. But I have left it alone. Also, there is a very small object inside that I can hear and tried to remove but the mouth of the vase is so narrow I wasn't able to get it. Perseverance will do it, though.

Antique Royal Bonn German Vase with Beautiful Floral Pattern
Here is a very beautiful antique Royal Bonn vase which dates to approximately late 1800s. It measures approximately 4 inches tall x 4 inches wide. With a diameter of 1 1/2 inches on the footed base, and a 1/4 inch opening at the opening on the top. The background is gold with shades of dark green, with a lovely floral pattern. This vase boasts a nice shiny glaze. There are no breaks or cracks. A couple small spots of chipped paint, both are less than 1/8th of an inch. It is a footed vase with gold trim on the base. There is also gold trim at the rim. When looking at this in person the quality and exquisiteness of this vase jumps out at the viewer. It's a lovely antique piece. This antique vase is just gorgeous. It is German. From the maker Franz Anton Mehlem, who,was from Bonn Germany. This maker produced beautiful fine china from 1836- 1931. The official,stamp of this maker from 1890 through 1920 is a crown with the initials F M underneath in capital script lettering.see photos) That is the mark on this particular vase. It has a cream colored background with designs on both sides in a soft green. The scene portrays a green foliage and a woman with a partially exposed bare breast. On each side of her is a cherub in flight. She is wearing a Grecian style gown. On the opposite side is a lovely out door scene which looks to be a knoll or Meadow. There is a tree, grassy foreground, a small body of water, and a calm sky above. The piece is in very good condition, considering its age, it's excellent. There are no ... morechips or cracks, or paint loss at all. Under a magnifying glass"only" there is some light crazing; this of course is a product of its age. Honestly, the vase really looks great. The size and shape of this vase is not rare, but, this particular pattern obviously is. I have scraped and scoured, and have yet to find another like it. This vase stands 7 in high, the top of it measures 1 and a 1/4 in and is done in thick gold. It is 12 and a 1/4 in all the way around the middle. I consider this piece to be special.
