This tall vase standing over 14" high is a tour de force of stylish themes of the late 19th century. From the Grecian like handles to the Egypto ribbed neck and mouth of the vessel to the subtle pinkish coloration over the cream colored neck to the vivid green background of the floral lithographic transfer print this vase has it all. Outstanding and significant piece the only mark on this is a large inscribed K that goes through the glaze on the base. It however looks very much like pieces by the Robert Hanke pottery but it is unmarked so it is hard to know for sure unless you find an identical piece marked(and yes that DOES happen. This is sort of a pre art nouveau piece with classical revival elements. It is in outstanding condition with no damage to report or repairs of any kind. Thanks for looking and good luck! Up for your consideration this perfect pair of antique Austrian art nouveau Ernst Wahliss vases. They are in excellent condition with no condition issues. No chips, no cracks, no repairs.These vases look like they just came out of the box,but they are at least 100 years old, simply beautiful and I have to say uplifting just to look at them. They stand 9 3/4 inches high 6 inches wide at the widest point. The diameter of the base is 4 inches,the diameter of the opening is 1 1/4 inches. Pair Iridescent Pottery Portrait Medallion Vases Austrian Free Shipping No Rsrv
This auctions is for a pair of beautiful iridescent pottery vases with portraits in the medallions. The two ladies pictured have similar features- sisters. Perhaps? These probably are from Austria or Bohemia. Each of these is about 4 3/8" tall with a maximum diameter about 3" and base diameter of 2 3/8" The botoms of both have been ground flat, leaving no marks on one. The other has some barely visible numerals and a slash mark- please see the last picure. Iridescent colors are primarily purple and green, variable from one to the other and within each. Condition is excellent, no chips, cracks, dings, stains, glaze pops or repairs. There is slight crazing visible on the bodies- long fairly straight lines- and fine crackle appearance on the medallions. The only wear is to the gold trim on the medallions. Pair of antique Austrian vases - with roses - beautiful for a mantle
This is a lovely pair of Victorian vases- made in Austria. One of the vases is marked on the bottom- the other does not appear to have any marks. I am not familiar with the mark so I don't know who made these. They would be beautiful on a mantel- they are approximately 14" high x 5" across the base. I inherited these vases from my uncle- he was an avid collector of glass. Porcelain and pottery. I intend to keep many of his beautiful treasures- but I just can't keep everything. No chips or cracks. One vase seems to be slightly lighter in color than the other. They stand 10.75” tall& 5” wide at the widest part. I believe these are JS Josef Strnact. Please check out the PICS. This is a nice antique pair of Austrian Royal Vienna porcelain urn form vases with snake handles and are have the Three Graces decoration. Both are in pretty nice shape as he pics show with one having imperfections/ repairs to one lid. Both are signed by the artist on the Three Graces decoration and it appears to be H. Wek. On is marked on the underside Die Der Grazien and the other is faded and I can only make out the first 2 words which appear to be Adonis Unter. Both need a little tightening and besides the one lid being damaged both show very minimal signs of wear and they come exactly as shown. They measure 14 3/4" tall. Soft green at the top darkening slightly at bottom, they have beautiful rose transfer prints with hand embellishing on the front, a small rose on the back, and two handles with gilding. These vases are antique and have all the normal imperfections associated with their age, one is in very good condition, the other has a very feint hairline, please refer to the last photo, the gilding is in good condition with only minor wear, they would look perfect in that shabby chic or romantic rose cottage décor. Exquisite pair of Robert Hanke porcelain vases with hand painted floral design. Possibly white wisteria, on a soft beige colored background. Both are marked on the bottom with a red crown, RH, made in Austria plus embossed numbers and the number 25 hand written. Weight of each is slightly different; 1 pound, 11.9 ounces and 1 pound, 9.3 ounces. They stand just under 12 inches each with a circumference of almost 18 inches and have slight wear to the gold trim, but no chips or cracks.

I miscalculated and did not have the correct box measurements defined. So Sorry! Lovely hand painted flowers with gold outlining. Gold trim on the handles. Very nice and unusual shape. No chips or cracks. One vase seems to be slightly lighter in color than the other. They stand 10.75” tall& 5” wide at the widest part. I believe these are JS Josef Strnact. Please check out the PICS. If someone knows differently about the mark please let me know! I had an antique dealer look at these years ago and she told me they would be worth around $350 at Auction but Insure Value at $475. These were given to my Grandmother years ago. Then passed down to my Mom. I can remember ... moreher displaying them on each end of the piano with fresh flowers, everyone always commented on how pretty they were.
