Antique 19th Century Royal Saxe Germany Urn Hand painted Portrait
This auction is for this Beautiful 19th Century Hand painted Royal Saxe Gremany Urn/Vase Portrait Vase. I have done a bit of research on this urn/vase and have found that it was made around 1891. From what I am able to gather it was made in the Original factory of the Royal Saxe Family Schlegelmilch. The portrait painting is in perfect condition with 24K gold paint with no chips in the paint. Also look at the pictures of the handles. They are in 24k gold with detailing of a face in them, the detail of this urn/vase is simply amazing. I have seen several other listings of Royal Saxe Germany, but none of them with this imbedded facial image in the handles. This urn/vase is in absolutely amazing condition. The only thing that I am able to find wrong with it is a slight stress line in the neck of the opening. It does not go all the way through ... morethe porcelain but through the paint. The lid is in perfect condition with again no cracks, chips, or any other damage. I believe you could classify this as in nearly perfect condition. This of course is my opinion and everyone's may vary. I am not in anyway a professional glass appraiser nor do I have the full knowledge to value an item. But from my research I am selling this vase way below what others are valuing these urns/vases at in this condition and with the lid) I have attempted to cover as much as I can about this piece. Please understand that this piece is nearly 125 years old. It is an antique. The information that I have given to you is of my own findings. I will do my very best to answer any questions you may have. I urge you to view ALL pictures before bidding. RS Prussia related. Erdmann Schlegelmilch Royal Saxe Germany portrait vase c. 1890’s. Portrait vase is marked with Royal Saxe ES Germany. The vase/ ewer has the portrait of a winab with flowers in her hair on a green background and gold beading. It has substantial gold loss as you can see faint scroll work about which is mostly worn off not uncommon with a piece this old. The handle has been reattached and this is shown in the significantly lower price for a Royal Saxe Portrait Vase. This pitcher/ewer/vase stands 6.5" tall and the base is 2" wide. Please look at the photos for detail. 1 has 2 circles where the repair to the handle was made, hard to see even when you have it in your hands. Good repair. This is being sold" As Is" NO RETURNS

Antique Royal Saxe Germany Blue Ewer w/ Cherub and Maiden Cameo, Ea. 1900's
This is a very pretty older piece by Royal Saxe of Germany. The makers mark on the underside of this piece dates back as far as 1891(photo 5) This particular ewer is an early piece which I would pinpoint to the early 1900's. Before 1920. The body is done in blue, with a fine gold design over the blue; and a lovely cameo on the front center. It presents in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches. The only minor flaw is some gold paint loss, which can be attributed to its great age. This is not serious, nor does it it alter the look of the ewer( photos 4 and 9) On the body the paint isn't lost. It is just somewhat faded. Overall, I would say that it truly looks very good. There is also an ornate gold handle attached to one side of the vase. The cameo on the front beautifully portrays a maiden with a cherub over her shoulder, ... moresitting under a tree. It stands 7 and a 1/2 in tall, and the top opening is 2 and a 1/4 in across. The measurement all the way around at the widest point is 17 and a 1/2 in, and the weight is just about 2 pounds. This is the type of piece which is meant to display and admire. It will undoubtably display beautifully wherever it is placed, while admirers endlessly enjoy it.

Pretty vintage Royal Saxe Germany ES porcelain vase. 9" tall. Rippled edges/rims. Color is a pale yellow which fades into pale green near top and near bottom. Hand Painted white flower blossoms with greenish brown leaves on front and one flower on back. Beautiful floral and vine designs in 24 k gold around top edge and bottom.
