vintage Porcelain Vase Royal Bonn Germany Beautiful Floral Design Hand Painted
I am not an antique dealer. I am not well informed about the old vase, I will show all marks, to help you identify the piece. There are no chips, or cracks, no dings, there is some light crazing, but you(I) have to hold the vase up close to see it. The bottom is marked"Royal Bonn Germany" with what looks to me to be the initials FM or TM and the numbers 1731. There are other marks inscribed on the bottom, it looks like before the vase was fired. The floral design looks hand painted to me. One side has gold leaf around the edges of the design. The piece stands 14 1/2" tall, and is 7" wide at the widest point. I have no idea of the value. I guarantee item to be as described or your money back, including postage both ways.

Antique Signed Royal Bonn Portrait Porcelain Vase ~Rare C. 1870 Museum piece depicting Countess Sophie Potocka~ Unlike any other Royal Bonn out there. This grandiose and beautiful lidded portrait urn is from workshop of Franz Anton Mehlem of Bonn, Germany, circa 1870. This is a wonderful and richly coloured pink vase embellished with elaborate ornamentation in the classical manner of the mid 1800's. Using magnificent bands of exquisite polychrome hand-painted decoration. Possessing delicate floral encrusted and gilt handles. The body of this urn features a portrait MASTERPIECE of Sophie Potocka, exquisitely painted in fine detail and set in a gilded cartouche which has been signed by the artist(P. Juhmer) At the back, a flourish of gilded flowers and musical instruments in heavy impasto gilt are sensationally displayed. In the second ... morephoto one of these florets appears as a smudge but it is indeed a perfectly painted miniature flower in gold- so difficult to photograph this highly reflective vase: White and gold hand-painted acanthus leaves in high relief are featured on the base. Lid is crowned with a regal gilt finial. Multi-coloured hand-painted flowers are dispersed throughout entire piece in bouquet and swag designs. ABSOLITELY MUSEUM WORTHY and may very well be purchased by one! One-of-a-kind! This urn stands an imposing large 15.7 inches in height by 10.7” handle to handle. Date codes and marks are found on base. This lidded urn is in very good/excellent age appropriate condition with slight overall crazing to the porcelain. Minor wear to gilt, some minimal bleeding to the outlines of the floral bouquets and what seems to be a small triangular dimple at the back, which virtually disappears. No Reserve! It is in good condition with crazing common for a vase this age. Light crazing. The top rim has a repair. Top rim has gold speckles. You can also hear something rattling around inside. But there are no other cracks, breaks, etc. 10" high. 3-3/4" in diameter at bottom. It was produced by Franz Anton Mehlem(circa 1836 to 1931) It is marked Royal Bonn. Germany on the bottom. Antique Royal Bonn 1755 handpainted porcelain vase 1755 mark1890's-1920's 5 1/2"
Very pretty old antique Royal Bonn handpainted porcelain vase with the mark Royal Bonn 1755- there is also a circular imprint in the bottom with handwritten numbers- I believe this dates to 1890's- 1910 or so. Stands around 5 1/2" tall. Has some light crazing and little nick in base but has gold gilt over it- not sure if from factory or done after. No nicks at all in top rim or on handles. No other chips or cracks but some light visible crazing- approx 100 years old so consistent with age. Could probably use a cleaning but I did not dare put water or cleaner to it- has a more mat finish and did not want to hurt anything or cause additional crazing by wetting it, not sure on care of porcelain this old. Breathtaking 19 ½ Inch Tall Franz Anton Mehlem Royal Bonn German Porcelain Bolted. Covered Vase Or Urn, Red Roses(click picture for more details& pictures) The cover and handles of this spectacular piece are painted in a creamy bluish white that changes to an iridescent. Silvery blue that becomes deeper in color as it washes from the upper body through the base. The raised portions of the fancy designs have been gilded which remains in remarkably good condition today. The handles are scrolled, very ornate, and free of damage of any kind. The front panel offers a cascade of four beautifully hand painted red roses set against a background of shaded and detailed foliage. The ... morerear panel offers a cascade of two red roses against foliage on a much smaller scale. The overall condition is excellent for a piece of the age. There is uniform fine crazing present in the cover and through the upper creamy portions of the piece that is consistent with porcelain of this vintage. I am not able to find any other cracks, chips, spiders or damages of any kind. The marks on the bottom include an underglaze incised 2 and 2800, the circular mark Franz Ant. Mehlem Bonn Reine, and BF(artist initials? as shown in the photo. The base also shows the Crowned FAM Bonn mark used from 1875- 1890. Also in green is written 6072/4 290 Z639 on the inside of the base and Z90 in green on the inside of the lid. The vase/urn stands 19 ½ inches tall to the top of the finial, 11 ½ inches across the handles and 8 inches from front to back at the widest point. They always have fine workmanship, and make fine vases and other porcelain pieces. Each vase has white flowers with gorgeous realistic details. The details really make the flowers pop out. Also there is beautiful gold works all around the vase, that really compliments the main floral subject. The condition of these lovely vases is very good. Almost in Mint condition, just some minor gold wear. Also there is a professional repair on one of the handles. The repair is so good you can barely even notice it.
