I am getting into some more of my Great Aunt's pieces to sell for her care. This is one beautiful piece. This is a T& V Limoges France hard past po rcelain va se hand painted with artist s ignature. It is signed B. S tepaner and ha s a love ly rose and stem design on it. The vase has no chips. Repair or damage and is marked with the green stamp on the underside with an incised 010 25, I am not certain the age but to say my aunt got it from her mother many years ago. I would estimate 1930's or so. The roses are pink and the leaves are very nice. The very upper rim of the vase shows some wear at the very where it was painted in gold paint. I am selling a Antique Jean Pouyat Limoges France JPL Victorian Woman on Swing Porcelain Vase as seen in the photos below. I bought this and several other antique items I will be listing at a local estate sale filled with antique items. I don't normally buy this sort of thing but it was just so unusual looking I had to get it. I looked up the mark and it's Jean Pouyat Limoges. Apparently the mark was used between the late 1891 and 1932, so this was made and hand painted in France sometime during that period. It features a beautiful woman sitting on a vine swing, while 2 cherubs swing her. The other side features a floral design with what looks like a golden harp. It is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or other damage to it. RARE Antique LIMOGES Wm GUERIN Hand painted Roses Vase Cachepot Double marked We are thrilled to be offering this very rare antique vase/ cachepot made AND decorated by the Wm. Guerin& Co. factory in Limoges. France. The stunning piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs, and there is very minimal wear to the gold gilting. This beauty features roses in a variety of pleasing pastel colors. The piece has 2 different Limoges Guerin marks, which according to my research makes this a very rare find. The factory marked the pieces that they made and then sent most of them to other companies as white blanks for decorating. The decorating house would then sometimes add their mark to the piece. This special piece has a second Guerin mark which signifies that the piece was decorated in-house. I cannot find any other ... morepieces that have the 2 Guerin marks. The marks date the piece to between 1890 and 1932. The approximate measurements are 9 inches high, 7 inches wide, and 4 inches from front to back. This really is a wonderful piece that would look great as a cachepot on your desk or counter. It would also be great as a vase with flowers in it. The 11.5 inch vase features burgundy. Pink and green flowers which look like cabbage roses on very light green and white background. The vase has gold trim throughout. Markings: Marked on the back D& C over France and a impressed H to the side. The vase has no chips. Cracks or repairs. The colors are vibrant and there does not seem to be any wear to the gold trimming. France; he was not an enamel artist. As a young man, Camille Fauré was a smart businessman who owned a decorative sign painting shop in the heart of a city famous for its porcelains and enamelware. Antique Palatial CABINET URN JARDINIERE VASE Signed Limoges? 13" Hand-painted
This enormous piece comes from my 90-year-old aunt's estate. As do so many of the works that get offered on this site. Standing 13-1/4" on a base 5-1/2" in diameter, the vase's mouth spans 6" with pink casing down the neck, leading to the balance of the interior cased in white. From handle to handle, we have a maximum of 10" while the widest portion of the vase proper I'll estimate at 7" After close scrutiny I've found nothing to report in the way of chips, crazing, cracks or hairlines. Normally some small losses of gilt will occur after a century or more of display and cleaning, so I'll not claim perfection, but even in this respect such imperfections truly are trivial. Please note the discreet wispy and powdery accents in lavender and gold that embellish the cream background and even the pink ... morecasing. A remarkable work of art, wouldn't you agree? I'll ship this for no more than $25 and depending on proximity. I'll adjust that down. The base hosts bold initials of"V.F. and a number"6" under the glaze. But while the maker apparently had a good sense of self, our modern search engines yield little definitive results. I've included a picture below from a display of the fine porcelain from Florida's"Antique Galleries of St. Petersberg" who attribute such ware to Limoges. I've also seen similar marks on the Web with the remark"unidentified factory in Limoges. Finally, I've come across examples that closely resemble this floral motif(see small image below) on other Victorian rose caches, with the mark CFH/GDM, allegedly Haviland-Limoges. But at the end of the day, it remains guesswork, so we'll let the marketplace speak.

Antique Limoges Vase With Fragonard Courtship Scene• Description• This is a STUNNING vase from the Limoges collection by Fragonard. Known most commonly as Courtship. I only have this one piece from the collection, as this is an estate item from my great-grandmother's household. The color is a deep, rich maroon with generous amounts gold. Gilt filigree frames a romantic image of a man giving his beloved a bouquet of pink flowers. All gold artwork, bands and gilt are done in 24ct gold. It is 3.5" square at the base, has a 3.25" top opening, is 6" at the widest point of the handles, and is 8.75" tall from base to lip. On the base is the Limoges stamp of the Crown and Shield. This would be a breathtaking anniversary or wedding gift, and would be perfect as a centerpiece of most any china collection.
