This Antique bowl has scalloped edges ... morewhich are trimmed in beautiful heavy gold. The bowl dips down into a shallow well with raised embossed designs in the porcelain. The pale yellow and blue-green tiny flowers decorate the side walls which look quite elegant against the gold trim around the edges. In the very center against the white porcelain is a round band of pastel flowers decorating the elegant design. To finish out the bowl are three bands of matching flowers on the outside rim of the bowl. The bowl has a tiny rim which allows it to sit up from the surface. There is yet another band of gold contouring around the rim edge. The bottom is hallmarked in red: Elite SM Limoges France" There is also another hallmark in dark blue. The star has"Limoges" going around the interior center. The bottom is marked"France" I do believe this bowl is from Circa 1890's era. It is quite lovely and remains beautiful after all these years. I am getting into some more of my Great Aunt's pieces to sell for her care. This is one beautiful piece. This is a T& V Limoges France hard past po rcelain va se hand painted with artist s ignature. It is signed B. S tepaner and ha s a love ly rose and stem design on it. The vase has no chips. Repair or damage and is marked with the green stamp on the underside with an incised 010 25, I am not certain the age but to say my aunt got it from her mother many years ago. I would estimate 1930's or so. The roses are pink and the leaves are very nice. The very upper rim of the vase shows some wear at the very where it was painted in gold paint. Vase - Limoges Stunning 10.5" Tall
Stunning double handled vase from the Limoges collection. The color is sky robin blue on white with generous amounts gold gilt. Artwork is of a couple of spring birds perched on a flowering tree branch. All gold artwork. Bands and gilt are done in 24ct gold to the best of my knowledge. It is appox. 3.5" square at the base, top opening, is 6" at the widest point of the handles, and is 10.5" tall from base to top. On the bottom of the base is the Limoges made in France stamp of the Crown. Beautifully detailed and hand painted. This is a beautiful piece of art.

I don't normally buy this sort of thing but it was just so unusual looking I had to get it. I looked up the mark and it's Jean Pouyat Limoges. Apparently the mark was used between the late 1891 and 1932, so this was made and hand painted in France sometime during that period. It features a beautiful woman sitting on a vine swing, while 2 cherubs swing her. The other side features a floral design with what looks like a golden harp. It is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or other damage to it. Antique Limoges T&V France vase. It stands 12 1/2" tall. 15 1/2" around the widest part, and 5" wide across the base. RARE Antique LIMOGES Wm GUERIN Hand painted Roses Vase Cachepot Double marked We are thrilled to be offering this very rare antique vase/ cachepot made AND decorated by the Wm. Guerin& Co. factory in Limoges. France. The stunning piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs, and there is very minimal wear to the gold gilting. This beauty features roses in a variety of pleasing pastel colors. The piece has 2 different Limoges Guerin marks, which according to my research makes this a very rare find. The factory marked the pieces that they made and then sent most of them to other companies as white blanks for decorating. The decorating house would then sometimes add their mark to the piece. This special piece has a second Guerin mark which signifies that the piece was decorated in-house. I cannot find any other ... morepieces that have the 2 Guerin marks. The marks date the piece to between 1890 and 1932. The approximate measurements are 9 inches high, 7 inches wide, and 4 inches from front to back. This really is a wonderful piece that would look great as a cachepot on your desk or counter. It would also be great as a vase with flowers in it. I have for you this evening a stunning antique French Limoges porcelain vase created at the kilns Tressemanes and Vogt aka T&V Limoges. This beautiful example is made of very fine porcelain and has beed cast into one of this makers most popular molds as a squat vase. This oiece has been fully hand painted in what I believe to be pansies in yellow and purple and the upper rim has been heavily gilt in gold. My pictures really speak to the quality of the artistry of this piece better than I could ever convey in words. I cannot find an aertist signature or initials however this was obviously painted by a master of the medium. This will make an amazing addition to your collection and will look gorgeous in your favorite cabinet or out for display for all to see and admire. This elegant antique Jean Pouyat Limoges vase is close to 6 1/2 inches tall with a 23 inch diameter at it's widest point. Aside from a tiny glaze pop(shown in my photos) which has discolored a little with age. It's been kept in great condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Beautiful Antique Hand Painted D& C Delinieres 11.25 inch Cabbage Rose Vase D&Co For your consideration is an exceptional Delinieres& Co vase in excellent condition. The 11.5 inch vase features burgundy. Pink and green flowers which look like cabbage roses on very light green and white background. The vase has gold trim throughout. Markings: Marked on the back D& C over France and a impressed H to the side. The vase has no chips. Cracks or repairs. The colors are vibrant and there does not seem to be any wear to the gold trimming. There is a‘crease’ around 4 inches up from the bottom of the vase that goes fully around where the wider part of the vase meets the thinner part of the vase. Not sure what creates that crease. WONDERFUL AND RARE JEAN POUYAT LIMOGES 13" HAND PAINTED PICTORAL PILLOW VASE
THE HISTORY: Pierre Pouyat established a manufacturing facility at Saint-Yrieix around 1760. His son Francois Pouyat. 1752-1838} joined a Paris hard paste manufacturing business named La Courtille operated by Laurentis Russinger, and located on the Rue Fontaine-Au-Roi from 1795-1800. In 1800 Pouyat became the sole owner of this company and was succeeded by his son Jean Pouyat who in 1841 closed down the Paris factory. Jean Pouyat then established a very important porcelain manufacturing factory in Limoges, France which has been continued by the descendants of the family. THE PIECE: This is a lovely hand painted pictorial pillow vase. The front face shows a gentleman strumming a guitar and serenading two young ladies that seem enthralled with his talent. As you can see in the photographs. It is very colorful. The other side of the vase shows ... morebeautifully gilded delicate tree branches rising up from the bottom of the vase. It is also adorned with attractive gilded scroll handles. The base and decorative mouth of the vase are finished in the same gold gilding. The makers mark on the bottom is the early JPL, FRANCE. CONDITION: There is a small manufacturing glaze flaw where one of the handle bases meets the body at the rear of the vase. I looked at it with a magnifying glass and it does break the surface. Please look at the last four pictures to examine this area. In the next to last photo you can gage the size by the toothpick. And the finger in the last photo. It is just under 1/8 of an inch. Some of the gilding around the mouth of the vase has rubbed off over the decades since its manufacture. There is also a little discoloring to the glaze around the neck of the vase, and a small manufacturing pin head size glaze pop just below the right handle on the front of the vase. In spite of the small age related and manufacturing anomalies, this is still a very fine example of antique Limoges porcelain. It measures an impressive 13" H x 8 1/2" W at the widest point. France porcelain vase that is the maker of Klingenberg& Charles Dwenger who did porcelain from 1900-1910. This fine vase stands about 11" tall and has a light pink background and features a scene of 2 cherubs or putti on the front with one holding a bow and arrow and the other laying back on a blanket. Around this scene is a lot of hand painted slightly raised gold that forms swirls and dots plus an area of gold branches and leaves with some leaves in green that are painted across the area beneath the cherubs. There are 2 heavy gold painted handles. The rim has gold with small scallops and gold that is shaded down the upper neck area. Backside has a single cherub. This vase was hand painted by Maude Toresdahl 1922 and given as a wedding gift to Ralph and Ada Hart. How do I know this? Because I was at the estate sale of the daughter. The daughter liked to label things. And this item was and still is labeled. The sale iwa being held by the granddaughter. She thought this was a lovely vace and was horrified that her mother had been using it to hold old dried pussy willows. It is painted quite well, I believe. It is in beautiful condition and would make a lovely statement piece. This vase measures 4.75 inches at the base, 4.25 inches at the mouth, and his 16 inches tall. Now it can be part of your family. It measures approx 7 1/4 inches from the rim to the fluted base, 8 1/2 inches from one handle to the other. It is in good condition but does have a crack on one side- see photos 5& 6. rare and hard to find Art Nouveau Limoges vase-handpainted in pate sur pate technique. Pâte-sur-pâte is a French term meaning"paste on paste" It is a method of porcelain decoration in which a relief design is created on an unfired. Unglazed body by applying successive layers of white slip(liquid clay) with a brush. The effect is somewhat similar to other types of relief decoration such as Jasperware, but as a mould is not normally used, the artist is able to achieve translucency. To understand pâte-sur-pâte fully, we need to go back to France in the 1850s, and an accident that occurred at the Manufacture nationale de Sèvres. Beautiful old porcelain vase. Art Nouveau style with tall arched handles. It is not marked.It has a Limoges look and quality. Hand painted flowers-gold trim with tiny bead work.
