Antique Parian Bisque Scenic Woodland Figural Planter/Vase
Lovely antique Parian bisque scenic woodland figural planter/vase. Wonderful detailed figure of a couple with a cottage. Woods& stag- not the back seems to have a door, within the woods. 5 3/8" tall. 8 3/4" x 4 3/4" I can not find a makers mark, but there are impressed numbers. There is also handwritten initials toward the edge. The piece is in good condition except for one the stag's antlers has two tips broken& there is a age hairline(1" on the gentleman's jacket. No other chips or cracks found. The piece displays wonderfully- Thank you for looking! VICTORIAN STYLE PARIAN DOUBLE SIDED VASE WOMAN IN HEADDRESS 7 " TALL
Up for bidding is a lovely parian double sided Victorian-style vase. It has a woman wearing an elaborate headdress on either side. It measures 7 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches at its widest with a mother of pearl finish. It has the look of Belleek. But there is no identifying mark on the bottom. It is in very good condition except for two age cracks on the bottom. They only show when the vase is turned upside down. This will make a nice addition to your home décor at a reasonable price. Extremely rare Bennington Pottery Victoria and Albert design. Ca. 1850-1858 The design originally included portrait medallions. Before the Civil War Southern and Northern sentiments clashed over England's trade policies. Because of this existing portraits on the vases were covered with applied grapes. This is demonstrated in picture 9. I have taken pictures of all sides of the vase which show some cracks in part of the grape leaves. The top of the vase is damaged with chips out of the edges. A really beauitful piece of early Bennington Vermont Parian-Ware-as seen ind the Book Bennington Pottery a nd PARIAN Wares and at the actul museum in Bennington Vermont. In mint condition 150 years after it was created in Bennington-this is the larger size and is flawless(thugh a manufactor flaw on the base-no effect but still there) I first became aware of this Partian Ware when I was t eaching at St. Josephs college in Bennington in the 1960's and have been collecting it every since and sometimes selling some off to buy others. This is a nice piece and a n unusual size and mint condition-it doesn't get much better than that. Thanks f or looking-if you havea ny questions please do not hesitate to ask them. A rabbit and a bird with nest. It came out of an estate collection. The previous owner had it labeled as"Bennington Parian" I have not been able to independently verify the Bennington attribution but it may well be correct. The vase measures about 8 7/8" tall and about 4 1/2" maximum width. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage. There are a couple partial color skips to pinkish color on interior, done in the making. There are some tiny dark specks in the parian, also in the making. Antique Blue & White Parian Bud Vase Bennington (?)
Selling a lovely blue and white Parian vase with applied grapes and leaves. Research indicates it may be Bennington) It stands 8 inches tall and has no cracks. It does have some imperfections however. There are two chips to the inside of rim and some"flea bite" specks. Also, there are no repairs to the body of the vase but I believe there may be a repair to one of the applied leaves(visible in close up photo) and some of the grape vine is missing. Suprisingly good condition for it's age. This vase has no chips, cracks or stains. There is a small black spot inside the rim that may be from the manufacturing process. It is unusual to find this type of vase without broken leaves or petals. The paint is quite badly worn. It looks like someone repainted 4 of the leaves is awful 50s green and yellow. consider removing all the paint. On the edges of the sides, you can see where the clay was hand cut to form the leaves. There is a number impressed on the bottom that is?66. The vase is 5.75" tall. At the widest point, it is about 6" I try to ship within 1 day of clearing of payment or the weekend. 19th Century Antique Parian Bisque White Vase W/raised grape and military motif
What a fine piece of Parian pottery from the late 1800's! This vase boasts an intriquite design of 2 raised figures. Which appear to be soldiers, and a raised grape motif on either side. The raised figures are repeated on the other side as well. The top of the vase, has a very intrique design of what looks to be a king's crown. The neck of the vase has a floral motif that is repeated four times around the neck. The base and middle sections have matching designs. No chips. Cracks, or flaws. Height: 10-3/4 inches. But a pottery and porcelain collector— has owned this with delight for 30 + years. At the bottom of one or two of the owl’s legs, just above the claws where the figure indents, there’s a subtle fissure that looks original to firing, is hard to see with the naked eye and has little to no effect on the overall appearance. But it is there.

It's surprising it was not destroyed at the time of manufacture as most imperfect pieces were. This vase was part of a large collection of Parianware that was de-accessioned from the Bennington Museum of Bennington. Vermont a number of years ago. The Museum's identification number(75.225) remains on the bottom of this vase. The vase is in the form of a neoclassical urn with maidens in relief on its sides. It has ram form handles. It measures just under 8" in height. I have included a photo of the vase sitting in front of a brass candlestick. This should give you a good idea of the angle of the tilt. For your interest I have listed an antique.Floral bisque, Parian Bennington vase. It is 7 inches in height and color is a creamy white.With raised floral motif. This rare Victorian. Antique art pottery has applied flowers, buds and leaves as well as two handles. This has been in my family since circa 1850s. I'm amazed it's in the great condition that it is in being that it is so delicate. I do see that two leaves are missing tips and several small daisies. The tips of their petals. All blends in so well, the flaws are hard to notice.

French "Old Paris" Parian White Porcelain BRIDE'S or Fan Vase 1850's Antique
This beautiful Parian White Porcelain Vase was made in the 1850's and was called either a Fan Vase or the more Romantic name. The Bride's Vase. It is unmarked but it is distinctively"Olde Paris" style and the high quality porcelain attest to it's quality. There is a large cutout on the front and 3 small cutouts on the back. The vase is hand painted with pink roses and violet posies. The vase has been lightly gilded, just enough to make it sparkle, but not be garish. There is some loss of the gilding, mainly on the base. Antique Copeland HAND SHAPED PARIAN BISQUE VASE Victorian Hatpin Holder
This is an old vase that is been in my collection for years! It has a great amount of detail and even a ring on her finger. The overall measurements are approximately 3 1/4 inches wide by 8 inches tall. There are no cracks or major chips but the pedal tops does not look as pointed and may have been ground down. The inside is also dirty from years of use. I listed this as a vase but see some that had sold in the past also categorized as hatpin holders? Aesthetic Movement Parian Ware Spill Vase Robinson & Leadbeater Bisque Porcelain
Aesthetic Movement Parian Ware Spill Vase Robinson& Leadbeater Bisque Porcelain 19th c 1885 This is an antique 19th century spill holder/vase made by Robinson and Leadbeater of Stoke-on-Trent. The piece is made of“Parian” Which was a type of bisque porcelain that Robinson and Leadbeater specialized in and was one of the largest producers of. The piece is made in the naturalistic style of the Aesthetic Movement, popular in Europe primarily during the last half of the 19th century. The bowl is shaped and embossed with shell-like features and decorated with a seaweed or coral motif at the bottom of the bowl. It sits on a triform leg support that looks like three bamboo shafts tied together. Each leg has an opening that can accommodate longer pieces of“spill” spill was usually thin pieces of wood or rolled paper that would be used to transfer ... morefire from the fireplace to light candles, lamps or even cigars. A spill vase like this would have been kept on the fireplace mantle for easy access. The style of this vase was obviously influenced by Japanese design, which was drawn upon by Aesthetic Movement designers due to its emphasis on nature as art. This spill vase measures 6 3/4” in height and 5” across the bottom of its legs. It weighs 14.4 oz. It is in very good condition with the exception of a firing fissure visible at one of the feet(see close-up photo) that is demonstrating a bit of iron content discoloration. Natural, and I believe original to the making of the piece. One of the feet is impressed with“R&L” within an oval, the mark used by Robinson and Leadbeater. A similar example can be seen online in a Google book copy of an 1885 catalog that is part of the collection of the Library of the Winterthur Museum in Delaware. This is an interesting piece of Parian Ware. Antique 9.25" PORTLAND VASE all white jasperware bisque parian 19c like Wedgwood
Very unusual all white jasperware type bisque parian model of the Portland Vase. Probably English circa late 1800's. Measures 9.25" tall. Has the same features as the actual Portland Vase which was copied by Wedgwood. Bottom has exact copy of the cameo medallion. Unmarked and not sure of its maker. Dates to probably the 19th c. it is cast parian ware with applied handles. Excellent condition with no damage or repairs.

Lovely Antique vintage Victorian Parian hand vase w/ gold bead accenting
PHOTOS ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION- VIEW ALL PHOTOS CAREFULLY& USE ZOOM FEATURE IF AVAILABLE ~~~~ This lovely Parian hand vase has a crack line that goes around the base of one of the fingers in the back(see photos) It doesn't seem to go all the way around. So I don't think it's a repair. I wasn't able to see all the way into the vase due to folds, etc. but my guess is that it has not gone all the way through- this is only a guess because I can't see inside clearly. There is also a small thin line showing on the back of the pinky finger(see photo) The vase has some soiling and it is possible that the gold accenting under the fingers has worn off as well as on the one side. One of the gold beads has broken off at the top of the vase(see photo- tiny chip) Vase has a bit of wobble due to the way it was made. But nothing ... morethat will make it fall over- only if you make it wobble. There may be a couple of other very tiny chips, but nothing that I was able to notice at this time.
